Excellent value for money and a great stay ”
We wanted a cheap city break for the weekend and this hotel was the cheapest we could find. The room was a decent size and had everything we needed for two nights (We have stayed in a lot smaller). The hotel and room were extremely clean, easy to ventilate, and going downstairs for complimentary coffee really wasn’t an issue! The location was the best thing, only a 20 minute, straight walk to the bay and 10/15 minutes to the city centre - we couldn’t be more central really! The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, couldn’t fault our stay at all!

Just perfect ”
This Ibis Budget hotel was perfect for an over night stay. £30 for the night. Great location, clean and a large comfy bed. We pre booked our parking with JustPark from 7am on our arrival day to 1pm the next day. £20. Loads of time on both days to explore Cardiff before travelling on. £50 total for a great room and parking in the centre of Cardiff. A real bargain. Just Perfect.

Great for a few days stay”
We stayed here for 2 nights and explored the area. Quite a distance from the bay, took about 25 minutes to get there. Also few minutes walk to the city centre. The location is good and quiet. At least the south facing side. We got free parking for our motorbike. The room was a bit small, no fresh air, only when open the window, or switch on the air circulation, but that was noisy. I could recommend for short stay only.

Best value for money ”
I went to Cardiff for cricket & this was the best value for money hotel I found. Comfortable bed & free tea / coffee machine. Highly recommend this place.

This hotel is good enough especially if you are alone. The facility might not meet all your expectations but that reasonable because the room's price will also be very cheap compare to other places.

Cheap, clean, satisfactory ”
For this kind of price, you’re not expecting a lot and you don’t get a lot. The room facilities are minimal, the toilet room is extremely small, and there are only two plug sockets which are both on the opposite corner from the bed. However, it’s in a decent location (10 min walk into the centre), it’s clean, simple and easy check in and check out with nice staff, and the shower was hot. Exactly what you would expect for the price.

All the staff was great, but we must mention Ruth. Regarding the place, clean and comfortable. Great to have water, coffee, microwave, and little details that make your stay even better.

It’s a budget Ibis so the facilities are minimal. Our shower didn’t work properly so the. Staff changed the room straight away. There was no kettle in the room but the. Free drinks machine in the lobby was available 24 hours. It was nice and quiet although room doors did slam on closing. At 10 minutes walk from the city centre it was great.

Great value for money. Came with two friends to explore the city. Perfect location between the bay and the city centre. Not the best if you plan to spend lots of time in your room but perfect for just the night. Only complaint was that the single bed hadn’t been made and the sheet and duvet had just been left on the end. But overall a great stay!

A perfect choice if only wanting a night or two to put your head down. Basic but clean and staff friendly. Breakfast was continental but lovely. Recommend for a few nights stay.

No-frills business hotel”
One night enroute from Wales driving holiday to London, taking in a show at Millenium Centre. Easy walk to train station/town pushing suitcase, co-op opposite, bus for rainy weather. Adequate small room with tiny but functional shower/toilet, free coffee/tea in lobby, breakfast available
