Very pleasant and congenial hosts, who couldn't do enough for you. Our room(N.8)was fresh,bright and clean,exceptionally high standard. Love the big panoramic windows,and amazing view of the sea front.Bed was really comfortable and probably had the best nights sleep i have ever had.Bathroom was superb and certainly on par with any top class hotel in London! Breakfast was very delicious with various different food to eat as much as you like.Natasha our waitress was a diamond Star! She was very friendly and helpful,and a credit to the guest house. Owen and Margaret who were our hosts also run the bar in the evening and we have spent a couple of great nights.We found to be better than going into town for drink. We highly recommend this Guest House and definitely we will go back I would rate this Guest House 20 out of 10 if I could. Thank you very much Owen and Margaret for a wonderful stay!!! Love how the beach is a few minutes walk away. Shops are all at a walking distance. Hotel was spotless and room was very clean and spacious! Hotel owner very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Friendly and welcoming staff Great central location Clean room Modern room with nice big shower Cons: The room get quite hot, so we opened the window overnight...lots of seagulls sat on the roof chatting and arguing...slightly noisy! Thank you. We may see you again!

It was a lovely stay, the hosts were wonderfully kind and welcoming. The room was newly renovated and it was extemely comfortable. The bathroom was amazing!! The breakfast was full english breakfast, parking is free outside. It was an incredible stay! Highly recommended! Would definitely stay here again!

Rude staff member, average minus guesthouse”

We had a bad experience from the moment we arrived, our reservation didn't show up on their system for some reason, so one staff member asked to see the booking and payment confirmation, which is understandable, but then another staff member came to double check and he was very rude in the way he questioned, we felt like we've been treated like scammers who are trying to stay for free. Overall the guesthouse is average, the room was newly refurbished, however the bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were very thin, the room was very noisy you could hear every door open and shut, and the breakfast was less than average.
