Ok stay. It uses a key code system which was cumbersome. Interesting decor, not everyone would love. I do think it does need a makeover.

Disappointed ”
Have stayed here twice before for our wedding anniversary’s, our third time here will be our last I’m afraid. Thought we’d upgrade to a better room this time, the room layout was silly, bed in the middle of the room looked straight out at the library. The bed had a piece of metal sticking out of the Mattress that you could cut yourself on, one door was missing on the wardrobe. The place has changed it’s entry from card to code number, if like me you didn’t have your glasses at hand you are left Squinting and fumbling around. We got woken at 06:30 in the morning to the sound of someone jet washing the Piazza between the hotel and library. Just not a great Experience. Located in an ideal spot, but for the money, it’s just not good enough.

It was fine”
We needed somewhere to crash after a party. Location. Was perfect and the parking system means you get an overnight stay for £17. The room is BASIC. really basic. Shower is nothing special and the decor is OK. Bed was comfy. Very expensive for what it is but the location was handy.

Great location, funky hotel”
Great location, funky but quirky hotel. Rooms okay but not very practical ie no storage, no blow dryer and not great if you like a bit of privacy in the loo. Hopefully your partners hearing isnt great if you stay here.

Design hotel in central Brighton - Really value for money”
The hotel has a really unique design. The rooms are OK, with a really nice toilet/bath facilities. The standard rooms miss a wardrobe. For single 1-3 night travelers not a big deal, but for couples and families this could be an issue. The breakfast on the hotel is very simple, but it's OK. The hotel are located in central Brighton close to restaurants, pubs and shops. Great location - only 10 minutes walk from the waterfront.

The usual wonderful welcome by good staff. perfectly clean and large room. The large bed gave a great nights sleep . Excellent location for both local theatres , bars and restaurants.

Location, location, location!”
Great value for the location. As a regular customer nice to get little “extras” such as the free cocktails, discounts in coffee shop and merkaba bar and, on previous occasions, room upgrade. Downside is the parking (not the hotel’s fault). Even when you stop outside to load and/or unload watch out for over zealous enforcement officers! Since our last visit, when you could leave car about 10 mins walk for free in Hanover, Brighton’s CPZ seems to have been extended by a couple of miles in all directions.

have stayed here before and everything continues to be perfect . Great location in a modern clean hotel . the staff are always helpful especially Freddie who even recognises us and our room number after a night shift !!

Satisfactory”
We thought it was expensive. We expected to park our car at the hotel as it has a car park but when we arrived it turned out you had to book a space. It was clean, the room was nice, and the staff were friendly but we were disappointed overall. This was our first stay in Brighton and we are going to be coming regularly for the next four years as our son has just started at university. We'll try somewhere else next time.

Good location but expected more”
Very good location surrounded by restraunts and not far from the lanes. The floor of the bathroom was tacky and the view we got was just of a white blanc wall. When we asked about parking the staff member told us there would be a fee of £31 for 1 night. Kindly, another customer behind us told us there was parking down the next street for half the price. Above all this, the bed was comfy and the hotel was very quiet. Overall, for the price we paid for one night, £143, I would have expected more.

Room smell bad & low maintenance ”
We stayed in My Brighton hotel many times before and has always been enjoying our stays, especially for its great location. However, we were put in room 175 this time and it was a very bad experience. The room “stink” of food smell coming from the restaurant downstairs all day everyday ; our room was made up everyday but none of the toiletries was refill/replaced. I think the hotel can do with a little refurbishment in general too.

Unfortunately our room was opposite Tescos and above the front door. Extremely noisy, finally got to sleep around 4.30am, very disappointed.
