This was worst than faulty towers one room. Radiator rattled could not get a sleep moved to another room at 1.30 in the morning Key card did not work had it reset 8 times could not get it activated had to be let in by master key and was offered new card next day customer service needs reviewing Also asked for a complaint s form was offered a blank a4 bit of paper Would not stay there again thank god it was only 2 nights

Great Value for money, exceptional hotel”

Stayed one night with 2 friends, 3 rooms. Apart form having to wait until 4pm to checkin our stay was excellent. Staff were all welcoming and friendly, room was decent however i have had better. It was clean and had everything i needed for my stay. Breakfast, was tip top. To say that they have had to change the way its served, they did exceptionally well. Quality of the food was as good a home cooked which is excellent for a mass produced breakfast. The staff in the restaurant coped very very well with the large amount of people and no body had to wait for long. Overall i would certainly recommend the Savoy in Blackpool and i mark it as exceptional.

This hotel is in desperate need of investment. Stained carpets, legacy holes in walls were fixtures have been removed. Britannia should be ashamed.

The furniture belongs in the 1950 and the rooms are drab and tied I found it very uncomfortable and there was no easy chair to sit on altogether the worst break we have ever had

This hotel was not good value for money; the lifts were out of action the room was poor as was the general condition of the hotel and room fixtures; If you are looking at this hotel I would suggest you look at something else

Great staff but....”

My main criticism of this hotel is that the bed in my room was dreadfully uncomfortable. The mattress was worn and hard, the bedding was clearly ancient and I had a choice of pillows - lumpy, hard or flat. But it was all very clean and the staff could not have been nicer. I'd have enjoyed my one-night stay more if I'd been able to actually sleep!

Give the benifit of the doubt after reading reviews and knew it was run down but omg it was unclean moldy blood on walls disgusting and staff where unhelpful and didn't care seemed more like a homeless shelter than a hotel

Room ok bathroom needs up dating shower old .curtains hanging off the windows badly ...window would not close only thing was very good was clean bedding and towels felt we paid over for room we were given 😕

Disappointing”

"Third floor' room is on fourth floor with no lift. Dirty towels put on floor to indicate changing were put back on the radiator. Breakfast is £12 extra. Staff sit in room at the back of reception instead of being in the front counter and there is no bell to remind them they are at work. Usual Brittania Hotels treatment, but have been informed they're other hotels in the area are worse.

I would not stay here again, the place needs a good refurbishment and the cleanliness isn't up to par in our bathroom the taps were disgusting i used toilet roll to wipe round the base of the tap it was filthy. The beds are very hard and not at all comfortable, our view was non existent frosted glass when i managed to look out over the glass there was huge extractor fan pipes that made a noise all night, there is only one small lift for the whole building which was very far away from our room , if people struggle with mobility its a long hike.

Good size room. However, it wasn't clean. The tea making facilities such as the spoons and mugs were still dirty from the previous guests. The lack of wifi in the rooms was disappointing.

best Britannia hotel in Blackpool”

Check in . let down by staff not checking if my room was ready . Stock answer check in at 15:00 . Bar , nice happy hour 12:00 TILL 18.00 let down by the fact you had to chase up the barman . Pint ordinary price £3.60 happy hour £2.20 reasonable . Breackfast buffet style plenty to choose from . Bar snacks looked nice . Tram stop across the road , easy walk into Blackpool center

Hotel needs updating ”

Bedding not good furniture old breakfast cutlery not clean & glasses smelled of stale water everything in there was old not impressed at all

This is the worst hotel I have ever stopped in,the room was a total disgrace,we arrived here at 8pm at night really tired ,the shower was absolutely disgraceful filth so we did not use it .my wife refused to to get into bed so she slept on the top of bed.the breakfast was fine although having to queue like cattle to get in .we stayed in Room 350 and paid a begrudged £87 we were very disappointed.
