Still the best value B and B in Hove”
I try and stay here every time I’m in Hove for the past 8 years. It’s by far the best quality in the area (I’ve tried most places when the Seafield has been full). It’s well run, clean and comfortable. The rooms are also a decent size. The location is also perfect as it’s just off Church Road and George Street.

We gave Seafield House full make for comfort etc. We drew Frank's attention to some detail shortcomings which have safety repercussions which are an high priority and which we are sure he will address, e.g. 1. No secure grab handle(s) for access to and egress from shower/bath - falling danger 2. No bannister to second floor rooms, essential for elderly clients and in the event of evacuation for fire escape, 3. Absence of fire instructions in room - essential - no guidance of how to sound alarm or action to take 4. Fire door between first and second floors has notice 'not to be used' - very confusing and not something that would be noticed in the possible/probable panic of responding to a fire alarm. In my case I made a mental note of the fire door on the way upstairs, it was only when I inspected the fire arrangements to ensure that I would do the right thing in the event of a fire alarm that I saw the 'do not use' sign. Very comfortable hotel needing atttention to safety

On arrival the manager was very welcoming ..the room was great but the bathroom was too small.The breakfast was excellent and the cook extremely friendly...definitely will return

Staying here was magnificient, no problems at all. After I found out that I forgot my wall socket adapter, the hotel manager kindly lent me one. Traveling to Brighton city centre (or anywhere else) is very easy thanks to the great public transport system.

Tired”
Location to where we wanted to be was spot on, but the whole place is in need of a wake up call and facelift. There was evidence of some decorating having been done, but that's all very good but don't put threadbare, stained furniture back in the room. No fittings matched. Yes, a hairdryer provided but not near enough to a mirror to use. Bed was comfy but unknown hairs were found. This guest house could be so much better. My wife described it as tired, I would say exhausted..

Does the job, but only just”
Our room was very cold. There was a tiny radiator - much too small for the room - which had a thermostat that seemed to think the room was much warmer than it was! We had it on maximum and it was still too cold. The bathroom was lovely and warm though! The towels were amazingly thin and threadbare. Reasonable towels are pretty cheap these days so there's really no excuse. Felt weird that reception wasn't manned and we had to find our own way to the room. Room was a good size and it was lovely to have a bath in the bathroom. Plenty of hot water. Breakfast was pretty basic, but the two members of staff serving were friendly and caring. Parking is difficult.

First impressions let down by bathroom”
Nice clean room, and very airy on what proved to be a hot week. I liked that a small electric fan was in the room, which also helped to keep things cool. Also surprised by a fridge - this was unplugged, and I had no reason to use it, but I assume it worked and is a good bonus for drinks and snacks. Unfortunately, the bathroom was a bit of a let-down. Nice size, and had all the facilities. But visible mould around the tiles where they meet the bath, a shower-head that just flopped around on a very loose bracket, and a basin which rattled with loose fittings and a basin plug which was sprung and had no obvious way to keep it in the plug-hole. The cleanliness/loose fittings issue is simply one of cleaning/maintenance. I didn't bother reporting it, as it should have been obvious to anyone who cleaned the room. As for the basin - a rented room should not have fancy/complicated fittings in it, without written instructions for the guests as to where the essential button/lever is. All in all, I had a good stay, but the bathroom was an unnecessary irritation.

Warm Welcome despite the weather”
Excellent service from the start to the end. receptionist arranged with the chef to open the dinning room 30 minutes earlier on the Sunday due to a christening in Hove at 10am. Excellent choice for Breakfast Thank you.t

weekend stay ”
I enjoyed the stay it was close to shops within walking distance. A little far from brighton 30 min walk but it was beautiful weather so didnt cause too much of a problem. I would stay again.

Compact Boutique Hotel”
We arrived after 6 so reception was closed but our roooms were left open and keys inside, we were allowed in via intercom on the door which I assume was linked to a remote "out of hours" reception - thankfully we didn't arrive too late! Lovely hotel and very high standard of finishes in the rooms, not one for stag/hen parties though as I was reading in the t's & c's that no such parties would be allowed to check-in and if if was discovered that you were you would be thrown out immediately with no refund. Which I thought was a little harsh as they needed to make their stance a little clearer when booking, pot luck with parking too. Free between 8pm and 9am and you can buy a permit from the hotel for the rest of the time but they can't guarantee how close you'll be able to park to the hotel.

Great Value Hotel ”
I very much enjoyed the stay at the Seafield House. Any problems we had were immediately addressed by the staff and the room was cleaned daily. The distance from Brighton was a tad farther than I thought it was going to be but located nicely in Hove. Would definitely stay here again!

我和朋友到达该旅馆，发现和描述非常不一样，之后去叫门无人回应 手机电话无人接听，等了1个多小时不得以换另外一加旅馆 非常失望！
