Great staff Johnny”

Recommended if you are driving to Bath. Nice Breakfast with beautiful view. Yet, to be honest, the water pressure of shower was low, and the door of the shower was not well-functioning; However, because of the reception staff Johnny, these problems can be nothing. He is super friendly and introducing us about the city with very good choice of restaurants. Very warm service, always willing to help, we appreciate it very much. He is the best staff from hotels I have stayed. Thank you so much again.

Great stay”

We had a great stay at the Ayrlington, the staff were really friendly, welcoming and accommodating, they really went the extra mile for us. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and in the perfect location.

The renovation is stunning-perfect balance between preservation and modernization. It was very quiet even with windows open and roomy.desk staff was helpful and warm. Breakfast was good but not great but that might be what I ordered.

Stayed at the grand suite for 2 nights. Most impressed at the level of service and how much the staff assisted for our needs. Location is not directly centre of Bath, but is only within a 5-10 minutes walk. For the great value it’s much better than a cramped room for the same amount in the centre of bath.

Wonderful two night stay”

We stayed for two nights at The Abbey room and it was wonderful. The service was very good. Upon arrival we were greeted and staff helped us with our car as the parking at the hotel were full. You can park the car at the street lots but you will need a parking permit which can be obtained from the hotel. We were shown to the room and were given an orientation to the room. The room was spacious. It was decorated in traditional English style and the owners spent a lot of time on the details. The room was on the second floor and faces the garden. It can be a little warm in the evenings as the sun shines directly into the room. We asked the hotel for a fan and they kindly obliged with one. Breakfast was excellent. You can choose items from the menu and also take items from the buffet table although the choices for the buffet table may not be much. Make your way down early for breakfast as the dining room can be full if there are a lot of guests and you will need to wait for them to finish. Location was just fantastic. It is a short 10 minutes walk to The Pulteney Bridge, Bath Abbey and Roman Baths. There are lots of restaurants nearby too serving multi cultural cuisine such as Italian and Thai food. The Bath Bowling Club is just next door so you might catch a glimpse of the bowling games in the evenings. It was our first visit to Bath and to us The Ayrlington was one of the attractions of the city! What we liked: 1) Location of hotel 2) Friendly and helpful staff 3) Nice breakfast What we disliked: 1) Parking space may be limited but can be managed by off street parking 2) Direct sunlight into the room may make it feel warm in the afternoon but you can ask for a fan

Comfortable and convenient ”

A lovely place to stay in Bath- quiet but an easy 10 minute walk into the central area with all its great attractions! The hotel is very comfortable and clean and the breakfast set us up for a day of sightseeing. We will be back!

Perfect place to stay for a visit to Bath ”

Wonderful hotel in perfect location for exploring Bath and surrounds. Helpful friendly staff. Good sized rooms. Great to have parking facilities, albeit a little tight! Would highly recommend this hotel.

What a great place to stay. Central to everything. Has it's own parking if you get there early enough as we did. the staff was great. The breakfast which was included in our room was very good. Would stay here again.

Fantastic Hotel, lovely staff”

Lovely old fashioned hotel. Huge feature bedroom (the Abbey) with views across Bath rugby and bowls club. Modern large bathroom. Only 5 minutes walk into the town centre so ideally located. Staff on reception, and restaurant were very welcoming and genuinely helpful, breakfast was top class in quality and presentation. A lovely experience which we would highly recommend for a romantic break.

Elegant surprise ”

This property is a true find, with intimate setting around a beautiful garden .. just s few steps from everything you want to see or do in Bath. Staff was superb in tiny cocktail lounge living room and st breakfast. Too was scuptious and comfortable. Parking a little tight but they have solutions and parking is worse in town so walk..

Beautiful house, perfect location, great staff”

An elegant listed Georgian house - this is a lovely boutique hotel. Big room, sweet garden at the back, quiet, parking (big deal in Bath!), but also walking distance from all amenities. It doesn't have a restaurant or room service so for evening meals you'll have to go out - bit of a pain if you're tired. Treat it like a very posh B & B and you'll be fine.

Wonderful location, wonderful staff”

The Ayrlington is in a really wonderful part of Bath. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to the central area with the Roman Baths. There is parking available as well. We had some special accommodations needed for our stay, and the staff were excellent at accommodating them. The building is really nice, old, quaint, but also high quality. Our bathroom was especially nice and recently renovated.

Beautiful and restful”

My friend and I had the most wonderful stay, I definitely recommend this hotel, the staff are excellent - nothing is too much trouble. Kira Royale's before bed were top in the nice intimate lounge. Well located for a walk along the river and into town and lots of cuisines to choose from once you are in town which is 5 - 15 mins walk away

Excellent stay”

The helpfulness of the Duty Manager who lugged all our very heavy luggage to the 4th floor. The only draw back there was no elevator. The Breakfadt included was outstanding....all told a great place to stay in a beautiful city.

A day in Bath”

Our stay at the Ayrlington House was excellent, starting with a very friendly welcome from the staff. The room is very spacious, with flat screen, private bathroom with tub and excellent cleaning. Our room faced the street, however, being a non-main street the noise is little. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is ideally located, 10 minutes walk from the center of Bath. The hotel has breakfast service, very good indeed. Perfect place to stay and very nice to go in couple. It has free parking.

Bath can be a bit awkward as regards parking but its very user friendly for walking so Ayrlington House is perfect. Off street parking with just a 10 minute walk to the heart of Bath. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bar was warm and inviting and the staff were terrific. Very helpful with maps and ideas. I'd stay again.

Memorable”

We had the Chinese Room which was very spacious, beautifully newly decorated, with new bathroom. David was very helpful with any requests and his knowledge of Bath and the breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for looking after us. Diana and Danny
