Overnight stay for concert ”

Small car park to rear of property, wonderful staff who can't do enough for you. Great location for Cardiff Centre as about 5 to 10 minute walk away. Will be looking to stay again next time I need an overnight stay. Nice large room with super king size bed, lovely choice for breakfast with tea or coffee in China cups. Highly recommended 😊

The better of private house accommodation ”

We were too late to get a space in the private parking so found a public parking place down the road. Everywhere was busy with cars. This is by far the best of private house accommodation, spacious room, large comfy bed, myddfai toiletries ( that’s a special treat) and quality tea / coffee items in the room. Breakfast was in the price ( which was great) and I couldn’t fault it. Lovely and hot and great choice. Even laverbread cakes - delicious. And what a treat to have strawberries for breakfast ! Good quality tea and the coffee tasted lovely and not bitter or having that brewed taste. If I had to put a little complaint in I’d say please check the cups, they varied from fine bone China to chunky ones. I swopped my cup with the table next to me as I didn’t fancy drinking out of mine ! Maybe tour the jumble sales for new cups or change to bone China mugs ! Anything other than the chunky ones. It didn’t suit the room ! Hotel is walking distance to the stadium approx 15 min

Warm, Welcoming Bed and Breakfast”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lincoln House Hotel, and breakfast was delicious! The room was beautiful and clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The bed was on the stiffer side, but we still slept fine. My husband and I would definitely stay again.

Arrived after 9pm to a warm welcome at reception., My room was a good size, very clean, warm and pleasant. The bed was very comfortable with nice pillows. The refreshments offered in the room were all sourced from Wales, I really enjoyed the Welsh "paned" and the delicious hot chocolate. The toiletries felt luxurious and the bathroom while a little compact, had a nice large shower and lovely big fluffy towels.. Breakfast was fantastic and came with a smile. There was plenty of choice of fresh fruit, cereals and the locally sourced Welsh breakfast ingredients, cooked to order, added up to a real 5 star breakfast. I will definitely be going back .

Pleasant comfortable stay”

We stayed at the Lincoln for 1 night. We arrived early and the staff were not put out but very friendly and efficient. The weather was awful so they attempted to organise taxi's to get us where we needed to be. The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. The breakfast was great, it really set us up for the day. We would definitely stay there again.

From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome, our Fourposter bedroom was warm, spacious and very comfortable. To be highly commended was breakfast - lots of choice with fresh local produce. The staff were lovely, we really couldn’t have had a better start to our weekend. Will definitely stay here again even though we only live a few miles away. Thank you !

Ideal location with free parking about 15 mins walk from Cardiff centre. Comfortable bed with excellent sheets and huge towels with plenty hot water. Tea and coffee in room. Breakfast choice very good and sets you up for the day. Would definitely use again when in Cardiff

Perfect Hotel ”

I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, and would gladly return as it's staff are fantastic, the breakfast was great and the beds were very comfortable. The area is quiet, but within walking distance of the city centre, which is unusual for a city hotel. Thankyou for making my stay in Cardiff so memorable for all the right reasons!!!

Excellent”

I was only there for one night. It was a 10 minute pleasant walk from the centre. Breakfast was great. Slept well. I would definitely consider staying for a longer break in Cardiff.

We have stayed here twice now , really nice hotel, very friendly and helpful staff , really comfortable room , great breakfast , really close to a lovely park with the river taff running through it , easy fifteen minute walk into Cardiff , great place to stay ! Good hotel and value for the money,great friendly and helpful staff ,only down side was the noise from the road for the rooms at the front of the hotel. But good access to the principality stadium or the shops.

What a great find”

What a great hotel - lovely spacious clean rooms. Staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast choice is very good and they were able to provide choices for my daughter who is vegan. City centre accessible by walking through a lovely park and you can also catch a river bus to Cardiff bay from the park. I would highly recommend this hotel

Despite being further from Cardiff City Center, Lincoln House is a cozy and lovely option in its own right. Fantastic staff and a very home like feel. Not to mention the walk to the center of the city is a beautiful thing when you walk by the river.

Good accommodation close to centre of Cardiff. ”

We were attending a dinner in Cardiff and booked here to stay the night. Centrally placed with easy access to city, comfortable room with excellent shower, very good choice for breakfast. Friendly staff.

A really great base for a weekend in Cardiff. Everything we needed - easy to find; secure car parking; pleasant, clean room with very comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Within easy walking of the city centre and with the lovely Bute Park right on the doorstep. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast set us up for the day! I'd certainly return, and would recommend to anyone.

Wonderful stay ”

Absolute gem discovered at the last minute. Close to city, approximately 15 mins walk beside the river. Staff could not have been more helpful, lovely food , room and comfy bed. Super restaurants nearby. If you are a light sleeper(me) and are allocated a room at the front you might need earplugs as road is busy but in no way should it deter you from staying at The Lincoln. Will definitely be returning.

Loved this hotel!”

From the moment my teen daughter and I checked in to the moment we checked out we couldn't have asked for more. All of the staff were friendly and helpful - they helped us with maps, with taxis, with more tea : ), and were available at all hours if necessary. The room was lovely and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The location was great for our purposes and we enjoy a long walk, but others may find it a little far from the main districts. Looking forward to staying here again.

Wonderful, relaxing hotel”

The Lincoln House Private Hotel is convenient and delightful. We stayed in the apartment, which was very nice . . . although be aware that it requires walking up three flights of stairs . . . and the breakfasts were terrific. The staff was helpful and we ate in two of the restaurants the hotel recommended and both helped to make the stay enjoyable.

A good quality, comfortable hotel in a very convenient location. Car parking really helped given the limited spaces on street. Staff were very courteous and helpful and fed my partner tea and Welsh cake when she killed off a bit of time in the lounge after checking out. A really considerate gesture that marked a touching end to a short but pleasant stay,.

Booked this hotel for parents based on the wonderful reviews and the location. It was perfect. Nothing too much trouble. Lovely areas within the beautifully decorated hotel to relax and read which was ideal for our parents. The eggs were a winner at breakfast. Thank you
