Me and my partner booked a room and they took the payment knowing they were closed at the start of the lock down

Was very surprised how clean and friendly the staff was after seeing the reviews before I went .Room clean and restaurant was clean and breakfast was very good .I had two children with me 2 yrs and 7 yrs felt very safe and 7 yr old said how good his breakfast was .

This place is a NO GO!”

This hotel is nothing like advertised, got to the room and it smelt of raw sewage, then moved to another room, this room had spot lights falling out of the ceiling with live exposed wires. The windows were broken and had condensation. There was also various stains of some sort on the carpet, filthy dirty, couldn't stay there and both the hotel and the booking company would do anything to fix it or give us our money back, also don't believe you can pay £5 to park, there is no spaces and even when there is and you pay for it there is a plain clothed guy that takes photos and issues tickets!!

Meal times were horrendous, allocated tables but when you came to sit in them they were still stacked with plates from previous. dinners. This was at both breakfast and evening meal times. I was then directed to another table. Toaster at breakfast was hopeless, it would have been quicker with a swan Vesta. Because I was on my own I got up from my table to get a fruit juice and on my return the girl had started to clear everything away.

Before anyone books this hotel think. Would they like t go on holiday in their urinal? If the answer is yes, book. If no. THEN STAY AWAY. It started as soon as I arrived. Reception: The receptionist didn't even know if I'd paid or not. It was written on the booking in front of her! Spot lights were missing from the reception ceiling? The room was shambolic. Hallway: Bulbs missing from light fittings. Making walking at night difficult Bedroom: One light didn't work. Furniture from the 1980's. Carpet vile, stains, etc. Curtains covered in coffee and possibly other things? TV worked, bonus? Windows, were double glazed, but might as well have been paper, you heard everything on sea front and I was on the third floor room 305. Bed okay. Bathroom: Light fitting exposed in roof, that included a LIVE wire! Shower, refused to use it full of mould, plus the live wire! A cleaner had not been near that in months! Window didn't shut properly so blew a draft in. I AWFUL PLACE. STAY AWAY.

Very nice and friendly Staff, it's basic but provides all you need, the food was excellent complements to the Chef. I will be back next year!

Clean and friendly. we did not mind the 25 min walk to the tower. Tram and bus stop right outside. We only had the buffet breakfast which was very good value. Will be staying again.

Cheap and not so cheerful. Shower that had no controls, had to use a spoon to turn the temperature on as controls were off. Hole in the base of the bed. Basically a very basic room in the back of the hotel. Bedding was clean enough. Was ok for one night, and at 30 pound you probably get what you pay for

Sorry couldn’t leave a positive about this hotel except the breakfast is good. First night Friday I got back to hotel at ten past midnight , the sign says (door locked at midnight ring bell and the night porter will let you in ) I rang and rang no sign of the night porter then banging on the window to get in , freezing I thought the bell must be broken, he eventually turned up and let me in after half an hour , NOT GOOD ENOUGH , I then was freezing all night in my room .

We Arrived one hour before check in but decided to ask if our room was ready, the lady said no so can't grumble about this. After an hour we made our way back only to be told that our booking could not be found but 'don't worry we've got room'. Next was the car parking I told the lady we had parked on the front and she said it's £5 a night, I told her that more than one booking agent advertised free parking only to be told 'that's not our fault'. We were given our key and went to our room ... well, just a few of the things wrong ... the windows were letting a gale through and 'stuffed' with news paper to try to sotp it ... we had a quater of a roll of loo paper and two tea bags ... the plugs on the basin and bath did not work so had to wash under running water ... dirty carpet ... holes in wall (easy to fill) ... falling to bits ancient furniture. Pre booked breakfast O.K. but items 'run out' after 30 mins. and only a tea plate hardly big enough for even a small breakfast.

Cheap, scruffy hotel; room not properly cleaned but very good location.”

My room had dirty takeaway cups in the drawer and plastic bottles and sticky sweets under the bed. The bed was rock hard and the room was tiny. One of our group is almost 70 yrs old and got a room on the 4th floor with no lift available for the full 3 days, there was no wi-fi on 4th floor (maybe too far from the hub) and water pressure was also very poor on the 4th floor. This was an up-grade to sea view room.

It was so poor we left early and didn’t even ask for a refund. ”

If you book a double room make sure you get one as ours turned out to be a twin and after requesting it to be changed they couldn’t be bothered. The vacuum clearly did not work. All in all the worst place I have ever stayed

Put me off Blackpool forever ”

Extremely cheap, run down B&B style hotel. Noisy kitchen staff from 6:00am onwards, other guests extremely noisy and playing music at 6:30am, doors through corridors banging with noisy lose floor boards. The lift was out of order during our stay. I cannot think of one nice feature of this hotel. Blackpool itself was also a let down, so many low class people throughout the town, swearing, abusive and vile behaviour. Overall I feel this has left a terrible impression on Blackpool. Will not visit again

The car park was full & had to pay £15 to leave in a car park overnight further away from the hotel! Booked online & payed for 1 night as a bday treat for hubby & myself (£100) on arrival the reception staff said I needed to pay £85 - I explained that I had booked & payed online & had even had the money taken out of my bank! He then said "I will afto ask her" ? Was quite a shock as it was only for 1 night!!! The bedroom was horrible- as I thought we was getting a four poster bed with sea view! Was really disappointed as it was filthy & shoddy! Will most definitely NOT be staying here again!!!
