Beautiful room, hotel and setting”

If you're coming to Bath, stay here! Rooms are spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Bed was large and very comfortable and the breakfast very tasty. We will be back.

Nice Hotel but ………”

The hotel and staff were very nice. The room was adequate apart from the bathroom. Far too small. The shower was the smallest I’ve ever been in! The bathroom must have measured about 10ft by 3ft. To get a toilet, sink and shower in that space is amazing. You kept bumping into everything at every single turn. Apart from the bathroom all was good.

Ideal location and overall good, my room was clean, bed was comfortable to sleep in and all the expected room facilities was readily available and staff were welcoming from beginning til I checked out. Thank you!

Lovely hotel, good location, wonderful breakfast”

We stayed here for a night with family whilst celebrating a 21st birthday. The staff could not have been more accommodating. We were offered coffee on arrival and shown were to park the car. We had booked parking for the two days so we could walk the 10 minutes into Bath without the car. Rooms were clean and the beds were really comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful with blueberry pancakes, cooked breakfast and loads of fresh orange juice. Would strongly recommend this to anyone who wants a comfortable retreat in the centre of Bath.

A memorable stay”

We were very warmly welcomed and felt relaxed and at ease within 5 minutes of arrival The staff and management really were first class and were very helpful and attentive without being intrusive. This is a great location, quiet but 2 minutes walk from the town and has an all important car park!

A Season of Faith's Perfection”

this place is perfect. lovely staff, adorable dwelling. out of this world breakfast. on the outskirts a bit where it's nice and quiet but still completely within walking distance of city centre. very helpful, warm, and welcoming. would definitely visit again.

Holiday with the family”

Traveling with our 12 & 15 year olds through London, Bath and beyond. We completely enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Villas at Henrietta Park. The rooms are fresh and lovely, in modern grey and white tones with a wall of colorful wallpaper thrown in to each room. The windows open to pretty views, the park, trees and homes, all the way around. They had comfy beds with crisp white cotton sheets, nice televisions with the added bonus of Netflix available. We only used the restaurant for breakfast, which was tasty. It is the perfect walk into downtown Bath, 5-10 minutes max. We highly recommend.

Great location, boutique character”

Lovely big room, comfy bed and great breakfast. Would be good to be able to open the windows though!

Overpriced ”

To be honest, it is way overpriced. When we walked into the lobby where we believe a "housekeeping lady" sitting at the counter without saying a word of "hi or welcome", she looked at us and asked "you want to check in?" then she prepare a key for us (without a smile). Our Room is at 3rd floor (without lift) and she asked a teenage (looked exhausted) helping us to carry our 3 big suitcases to the room. On checked out, we were helped by the "chef, we believe the one who prepared breakfast for us" to carry down our suitcases. In principle, there is no messenger or bell boy for help. In addition, once you turn on the tap, the whole bathtub is vibrating with loud noise, so, don't expect a good shower. I believe 249 pounds per night for a premium room is way too much. Breakfast was ok but the fresh orange juice don't taste fresh.

Room 23”

We loved our stay. There were a few hiccups; shower and sink not draining effectively, but these were taken care of upon notification. Room 23 is beautiful and spacious, but a little loud being near the kitchen pantry and reception area. Everything else was too notch but relaxed and comfortable at the same time.

Enjoyable stay at great location. ”

Perfect except toilet was flushing properly only sporadically, and plumber wasn't called until 24 hours after we reported the problem and were checking out. Very nicely presented and tasty breakfast.

It's our second time there and it just gets better. Amazing staff and service. Rooms immaculate along with the rest of the hotel and the breakfasts are gorgeous.

We had a lovely stay at Vill Magdala. Didn't realise though that if you book through Agodo you have to pay for the parking separately. Wasn't a a problem and totally understand however it's just another added expense. The welcome was very friendly and you feel at home straight away. The balance is perfect. We didn't actually eat at the hotel as we spent all of our time in town however if the standard of everything else is anything to go by I'm sure it's very nice. Would return but would probably book directly with the hotel next time.

Nice villa but not child-freindly”

Staff friendly, room comfortable. We received free upgrading upon arrival. Charging 35 pounds for a 3y old child is too much, more than any real 5 star hotel. Breakfast is under average yet charge is high. No elevater so we had to drag heavy luggages through about 20 steps.

Comfortable stay in Bath”

We were at Villa Magdala, Bath for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay as the hotel has its own car park, located near good eating places, a Thai restaurant, The Boater and some Indian Curry restaurants as well as a grocer, all within a 3-5min walk. 8 min walk from city centre, Roman Baths and Christmas markets as well as the main shopping area with its myriad of stores.
