Tiny Room with Excellent Location”

For about £70 a night, you are located right beside George Square and Queen Station. That makes a short walk to Buchanan street and other nearby attractions/shopping area. The single room is about 3m x 4m and equipped with air-con and TV, and pockets of storage spaces. I wish they have more wall sockets (eg under the TV) to make the room even more practical for use.

Excellent value for money! Loved the urbanite vibe, the excellent breakfast and the location right in the city centre. Small rooms but every you need including lots of electric sockets.

I stayed 2 nights. Not very cheap but value of money. All staff were super efficient . Breakfast was good. Room was not big but well designed. There are 100+ rooms in the hotel but I did not feel any crowd during my stay :) Very well-function designed hotel.

A gem in Glasgow City Centre”

I always stay here when I am passing through Glasgow as it is a perfect gem in the city centre. Clean, and well equipped rooms. Lovely staff and complimentary cheese and wine when you arrive. Great value for money.

Stayed in a room without a view, quite like sleeping in pitch black conditions. Spotlessly clean, love the bottle of water they leave each day in the room, especially love the wine and cheese in the evenings, such as I shame I couldn't be there each night for it!

Excellent Location ”

Excellent location attended concert at Royal concert hall , mobility issues , stayed the evening to make it easier for me , I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of this Hotel , perfect spotless white bedding & soft fluffy white towels , Large wall mounted LCD TV with Sky no extra cost , rooms compact but hairdryer, tea , coffee tray , toiletries etc so didn’t need to ask for anything, staff very pleasant and reception on arrival very pleasant , welcoming, Even though I did not go down for cheese & wine that was available free I thought it was a nice touch , I would certainly recommend this hotel , also I look forward to returning if ever staying overnight in future.

Perfect for 1 or 2 nights”

We have stayed in the Liverpool Z Hotel so knew what we were getting. You get what you pay for, in that the rooms are small and ours didn't have a window. But when on a budget and not in the room much, it's fine! Just set an alarm as the room is always pitch black. Rooms are best for solo travellers or couples due to the frosted glass around the bathroom, doesn't offer much privacy. It was quiet, clean and in a fab location in central Glasgow. Staff were helpful and polite. The main perks of this hotel is that it has Sky TV, complimentary bottled water and twa/coffee in the room and best of all, the complimentary cheese and glass of wine which runs every evening from 5-8pm! We paid for breakfast buffet (£7.50 each if you pay the night before). There was a great selection of fresh food including bacon rolls, scrambled/boiled egg, cereals, pastries, bagels, crumpets, bread, fruit, muesli, meats, cheeses, juice and tea/coffee. We will definitely be using the Z's again!

We only had a very quick stay here and chose it due to its proximity to the Timberbush Tours pickup point right around the corner. The staff were great. The hotel does a free cheese and glass for wine thing every afternoon which was a nice surprise on check in. Rooms are small but clean.

Great staff, rude awakening early in the morning!”

Stayed here a few times, staff excellent! Only issue was waking up on Christmas Eve with work going on in the hotel, it was an industrial saw that shook my room! A rude awakening to say the least, no warning of this which was a little disappointing. The cheese and wine on arrival is always a super touch! Overall, I would stay again due to the fact that I’ve used the hotel a few times now and always liked it, And the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Good specification room, clean and good value for money ”

I booked this at the last minute for a night purely as somewhere to sleep before an event the next day. The room rate was great value, the room was stylish and clean with a good shower, comfy bed, large TV and water, tea and coffee facilities. Also central location so easy to get to bars and restaurants. Friendly check in staff.

We were a bit unsure about having booked windowless rooms - but we all slept perfectly well - and Glasgow has plenty of opportunities to spend those pounds we saved on accomodation. And the daily complimentary cheeses were of excellent quality.

Every detail has been thought of - like I designed it myself but better - price is very competitive and hard to resist and such a treat - can't book anywhere else. Modern, sleek, stylish, authentic and reasonably quiet

Good location”

Friendly and helpful staff. Short walks to the station, Glasgow Concert Hall, Royal Conservatoire and the city area. Loved the cheese and wine buffet, though breakfast is quite simple. Limited hanging space, and no phone in the room.

We stayed here for 2 nights and would definitely recommend it. Location is great, very central but on a quiet street just away from the square. Staff are very friendly and attentive and are on hand 24 hours a day. The rooms are small but perfectly formed and we thought it was really cozy. There is a cheese evening each night with free wine and cheese for guests, dont miss it! Breakfast is good value (we opted for the express breakfast - bacon roll, coffee and one selection from the buffet). Great place to stay.

Clean, Convenient, Comfortable and Cheerful ”

This was the second time I had stayed at the Z Hotel, and I wasn't disappointed. I was greeted by a really friendly receptionist (sorry, I don't know his name), and I was made to feel very welcome. The room was small, but it had everything I needed, including a very comfortable bed. The location is also perfect, just two minutes from the railway station. I'll definitely stay here again!

Affordable and comfort hotel in the city center”

This hotel is located at the city center of Glasgow which is close to shopping district, restaurants, bars and souvenir shops. They are all in short walking distance. This chain hotel also have other same brand hotels in Liverpool and London. The reception staffs were all very friendly and very helpful with great hospitality. It is also very clean. I stayed at single room and it was quite ok and the price is worth it. Definitely will stay again at this hotel when I am in town. Happy staying!

A perfect hotel for most convenient location and v”

Super convenient being next to the train station and the sirport bus drop off point. Staffs were super friendly and helpful. The room is a bit small but the bed is comfortable. The only problem is the water leaking out from the shower stall and being on the top hloor with a skylight, the noise made by the pigeons during the day.
