arabian nights hostel in islamic cairo area is perfect if you want to avoid downtown midan tahrir area (protests/ demonstrations). the hotel is literally 5-10 walk to the khan khalili market and the al muizz st where you can do a walking tour to see a lot of amazing complexes, mosques. it is also across the street from awesome koshary restaurant! rooftop is lovely to have breakfast. staff are incredibly friendly, made me tea everynight. rooms and bathrooms are alright, not great but functional and value for money.

Great Staff, free internet and airport pick up!”
I had a great relaxing time with only few concerns. They were supposed to pick me up from the airport which they say they apparently did but because my plane landed an hour late which overlapped the curfew hours in the airport, the driver left without me. I had to take a taxi for double the ongoing rate. The management was very apologetic and compensated me by giving me a complimentary airport shuttle on my departure.

-The electricity went off and there was no generator to get the electricity. It was off for more than one hour - Air conditioning is not working just a poor small fan - the land of the room is broken and wasn't quite clean as it should be - no fridge or wardrobe or even storage drawers or any thing. Put all your things on the floor. - if you want just a place to sleep then choose it because its location is very good. Other wise this is horrible place to be in.

Alors meme qu'il est recommandé en coup de coeur par le routard, de tous les hotels que j'ai pu faire dans ma vie et ceux partout a travers le monde, de prix simple a plus élevés, c'est le pire que j'ai pu faire! Un matelas posé sur un sommier, un autre a meme le sol, deux posés contre le mur avec des taches dont ne sait quoi (humidité/moisissure) des draps troués, un couvre lit dégueulasse, les équipements mis dans l'annonces inexistant ou en panne ( TV, clim, ventilateur), sol en carrelage défoncé et sale.

チェックイン時、ベッドのサイドテーブルに他人の吸殻入りの灰皿があり、不愉快になった。 ハエが多い。シャワーの勢いは最悪（お湯の時）。 ドアの立て付けが悪く開け閉めに毎回苦労した。 価格より高い気がします。 コーランは大音量で聞こえますが、苦にはなりませんでした。 イスラム地区観光の為に泊まるならアリです。
