Disappointing!”
The only good thing about it is the location. Other than that, there is no network inside the whole building. I cant call, i cant connect to my 4G. I had to stick next to a window for it to catch a bit to make a call. No plugs next to the bed in the room. You have to unplug a lamp and charge your phone away from the bed (cant trust with stealing etc..) the common room is the worst for network, the lights dont work also so they are glitching the entire time. There are only two toilets for the entire hostel. 3 showers for females with one broken and the other two quite disgusting, the shower heads are in a terrible corrosion situation. No shampoo or shower gel available, you need to pay for it. As for the location, it is close to Arc de triomf but its also an area full of homeless people so walking to the hostel at night can be very scary. I dont recommend this place AT ALL.

Don't book it unless you have no other choice”
There was literally nothing else available. That's how I ended up here. The place feels creepy. There's hardly any natural light. The lights are on sensors that turn off super fast. The showers didn't have hot water and weren't really clean either. The only good thing were the other guests.

This was my first experience in a youth hostel so I don't have much to compare to. However, the hostel was generally clean and the beds were pretty comfy. The free wifi was excellent and there were also computers free to use as well. The location is great, 5 mins walk from the metro and Arc de Triomf and round the corner from a supermarket. The only complaints I had were that the fridge smelled a bit and the girls showers, although obviously cleaned every day, got dirty very quickly and didn't drain very well. Otherwise, everything was quite pleasant and I would happily use it again.

A very good option in an excellent location ”
Its clean and near the city center. You get a decent bed and washing facilities. A locker albeit you have to pay a euro to get the lock and key. The staff is polite and generally helpful. The kitchen is decent as is the large lounge with a couple of computers if you have a need for them. The atmosphere is a little dull and quiet which might not be everyone's cup of tea. Just make sure you arrive during there working hours otherwise you will be left frustrated as you wont be able to reach anyone at the reception.

Decent location and price rude service ”
Good location to visit the beach and not too far from the tourist centre (20 min walk). Comfy beds with lockers. Shower room often covered in water and kitchen dirty from other guests. A couple staff members were friendly. I had booked a share room with 2 bunks and was put into one with six, when I questioned it and showed them my booking confirmation I was told I was wrong. I called Agoda to confirm and they said they would call the property on my behalf, Agoda returned my call and told me the receptionist was rude and dismissive and told him I was in the correct room for the price I had paid. The Agoda rep apologised and issued me a credit for my next stay as he thought the issue would be unresolvable with the dismissive staff.

Since I opened the door were offensive signs like “don’t be a bit** don’t fuc** up and like it everywhere I found it not funny at all. Very patriarchal. The staff wasn’t friendly at all except an Argentinian guy but the rest very rude and not helpful. The showers does not have any privacy just a curtain and nothing to put your toilet stuff. Very poor rooms and old.

You get what you pay for. The price is good and all facilities are there. The staff is very friendly and organised a party. Other guests were usually also open to conversation. The location is nice, but the street feels secluded. I did not feel very safe with the homeless people. The WiFi / signal is bad inside, the showers are dark and often have cold water. It is overall not very clean. There is little natural light and the lights turn on & off quickly, giving it a ‘creepy’ vibe. My locker in the room did not have a lock. I do not think I will return anytime soon.

Good place to stay just one night”
It has everything you need for a good stay, but short stay. Good kitchen and big rooms, very soacious. It was not so clean, there were some cockroaches in the bathroom, and there was no good ventilation. Also I booked a bed in a 4 beds bedroom (2 double lits) and when I arrived I was assigned a bed in a 10 beds bedroom. Beyond that the staff members were very polite and helpful.

I will try to be direct and as quick as I can. This was the third time I visited Barcelona and I went with my boyfriend, we had everything planned and paid when suddenly our reservation were canceled and we had to find abother place to stay, but the prices were much higher everywhere. I was used to stay in the center of the city and did not wat to abdicate the commodity but didn’t want to pay high prices either, that’s when I found this place in a very good location for a price almost too good to be true. We did the reservation for 5 nights in an app called Agoda and everything were going well so far. The first day we gor to the Hostel around 15h and were amazed with its location, but bad things started as soon as we arrived (sad to say that we didn’t read any reviews prior to our arrival at the hostel but it was too late). So… The hostel was okay I guess, not a dream hotel or anything but it would do, I am not a fancy person and just need a place to sleep, shower and a little more. PROBLEM ONE: In the check-in we knew that we had to pay a tourist fee (previously declared by the Agoda company) in the value of €7.20, but it turned out that the worker started a conversation about how the value of the fees per day had changed sinced April (4 months ago) and wanted to charge us €19.30 instead of the price established by the reservation company. Off course we started to argue about how we had the right to pay the price declared in our reservation but instead we paid with the guarantee that he would pass us a receipt declaring the payment of the €19.30 so we could file a complaint with the booking agency. PROBLEM TWO: The room we were given was not clean and you could definitely see that the sheets and the bed clothes were bot change at all (full of hair and sweat stains). We were told that the room would have a window, and it did had, but the handle was broklen and we could bot open. I made a complaint about that too and was ignored - as one of the workers told me -

Las habitaciones son como son y no tengo problema con eso. Los baños estaban re sucios, casi no hay muchas cosas de hacer (no un hostal social ósea). 2 chicos en mi room con llave parecían abrir mi locker cerrado, robado mi portátil y cuando le dije a un trabajadora ahí puso los ojos en blanco y suspiró. Preguntó el nombre de los chichos, los únicos con llave, me dijo que no, dije que tienen su detalles de pasaporte para que la policía puede ayudarme y me dijo que no, que no puede hacer nada. Flojo y 1/10 Otro chico trabajando ahí fue muy amable.

NO SE QUEDEN AQUI. ”
Desde que llegué sentí incomodidad El recepcionista es bastante pesado y bastante intenso. Tuve varios roces con él porque "no se acordaba" de mis pagos. Mi amigo de habitación comentó que le había tomado los datos de su tarjeta también. Él arruinó totalmente mi estancia, tanto que no aguanté las 2 noches y dejé perder un día entero. La habitación era un asco. Nada parecida a la foto. Olía muy muy feo. No había jabón en el baño. Parece una cárcel después de las 11pm. Es que podría hacer una lista de todo lo horrible del sitio. Normalmente no comento nada pero no me podía quedar callada.

Es un hostal con una ubicación buena, el personal no es muy comunicativo, eso podría mejorar. Es muy espacioso, gente ordenada y decente. Se podría mejorar la higiene de los baños, ya que no huelen muy bien y hay tazas que no tienen tapa.

Las duchas son una pesadilla”
Pros: Buena ubicación si quieres ir a la playa. Personal muy majo. Contras: Es un alguergue superviejo, ni llegué a ducharme porque: 1. La puerta de las duchas de chicas no tiene pestillo. 2. La luz de la sala es por sensor y dura menos de un minuto encendida, y como no tiene ventanas te quedas totalmente a oscuras. Y estar saliendo de la ducha desnuda para que el sensor te detecte en una sala en la que puede entrar cualquiera tiene sentido 0. 3. El techo estaba lleno de humedades.

Los códigos de la puerta son poco visibles, están por detrás, en la columna. Tarde bastante en salir agua caliente de las duchas y en una de las cocinas nunca o casi nunca hay cubiertos.
