It's my first time going to Aomori and staying in Art Hotel Color Aomori made me look forward going back to the hotel. Everything was so clean and the amenities were complete. The shampoo, condition and soap also smelled so nice. The bed was so relaxing, I didn't want to leave. I would really recommend this hotel!

Close to the main station. Nice area. Nice staff. Amenities such as bath towel, shampoo and soap are available. It was comfortable. I wish Wi-Fi was faster.

I order NO Smoking room from website for three nights but was arranged to the smoking room, i am not sure that is intentionally or not! After telling to the staff of the hotel, they re-arranged us to no smoking room and everything got better! Good breakfast!

Non Smoking room No Wifi”
I booked a non smoking room, even ticked the option "please no smoking" that you can choose on the website. But I was in a smoking room, though the smell was not too bad, still.. Also the way to unlock your light in the room was not explained. When I visited a facility like this before, the front staff guided me to the room and explained how it works. At least give an info sheet or something. Here, they just told me the room number and gave me the key. Very short explanation compared to other hotels in this price category. Also the wifi quality was so poor, the free city wifi connection is faster..but doesn't reach inside the hotel. As I got it on a high %off deal, the price was compared to hotels nearby solid. For the normal price, I would be even more disappointed

When we arrived the reception staff said we were in the wrong hotel and tried to redirect us. They generally had an unfriendly attitube to us which is the first time we experienced this in Japan. The hotel looks a bit tired and worn out. Best avoided

The location is a little bit far from Aormoni station. The room is small, the bath facility is a little bit old. If you are looking for cheaper price and I’ll recommend you to choice.

We stayed at Art Hotel Color Aomori for 2 nights from 5th Nov to 7th Nov. The hotel location is not too far and at walkable distance from Aomori JR train station. Staffs were nice and checkin and checkout procedure were fast and smooth. They even gave us a free postcard when we checkedin. The bed was comfortable and the room was cozy. Wifi was fast but disconnected from time to time. The only downside of it was that the aircon/heater temperature was central operated so we couldn't adjust the room temperature ourself. We used the coin-operated washing machine and dryer at the hotel, which only had Japanese instruction but we did managed to get it working! Overall, we were happy with the hotel for the price we paid for.

Great & Affordable Hotel Stay in Aomori”
Art Hotel Color Aomori is a recommendable place to stay if you're visiting in Aomori. The hotel is situated along the main shopping street leading up to JR Aomori Station, with 15 minutes walk to the station. The rooms are clean but small. The Bed is comfortable too & the hotel staff are friendly & eager to assist in any way possible to make my stay in Aomori pleasant. The hotel only downside is the lack of view, but being a business hotel, it has served me, as a solo traveller to be more than sufficient

It is really worth the money to stay here for 2 to 3 nights. As the price is very cheap comparing with others. Location is good, room is okay clean, just may need a replacement for the chair and table and bed. Staff is nice with smile all the time. If they provide parking with cheaper price, it will be perfect for this hotel to be chosen in Aomori city.
