Overall I had a great experience at Asahi Guest House. Be sure to spend time in the small neighborhood it is in. There are many great boutiques, small shops, restaurants, and bars with great atmosphere. The public market is also nearby. I spent an entire day browsing through the each shop and stall.

Asahi Guesthouse. Very respectable guesthouse. Staff keep the place immaculate. Very big, good quality dorm beds. Rooms can get a little hot at night. The owner is incredibly diligent and is probably one of most polite people you're ever likely to meet. This is the place to stay in Naha if you're looking for a centralized hostel on a budget.

warm and welcoming”
The house is a bit old but I just like the antique wooden housing. It makes me feel warm and comfortable. The bed is also clean and cozy! I extremely like the tatami floor which I spent a long night on readings and researching travel tips. Fully equipped shower rooms, toilets and kitchen. No towels but you can always bring your own ones. Friendly host family. Their 3 year-old daughter is very cute! And they seems living at the next building, so no need to worried about kids noise if someone care. Thanks Yonemura family!

Nice place, looks like a traditional japanese living room, with large beds. Cosy family feeling. On new years day the host even made special japanese lunch for me :) Its in a quiet place, and it is just 1 minute walking from the main touristic kokusai dori street.

Staffed by fantastic family”
The AC stopped working one morning (before the scheduled cut-off), and I woke up drenched in sweat. The host kindly put money in the AC machine for it to run the rest of the day. Family owned and operated, very very friendly & accommodating. Thanks!

A run down guest house. Try hard to be a Natural theme hostel, but not clean at all, kitchen was oily, never clean the fan and stove or counter area. Horriable, wooden floors make a kind of noise. No ”
Not worth to try even. Cold in the winter @ Okinawa. No heat and not very clean. Location is the only plus side. :(((((((

民宿のような雰囲気で居心地は悪くありませんが、設備は古くトイレ一体型のシャワールームは不衛生で気持ちのいいものではありません。よい点は宿泊客が少なくて静かなことと、キッチンが自由に使えることぐらいでしょうか。いずれにしろこの設備・サービスで一泊1600円は高いと感じました。

老闆娘態度親切，環境幽靜乾淨”
比起前幾天在沖繩另一間背包客棧，相對的就是家的感覺！整體木頭造型，床沒有遮蔽，較沒有私人空間，浴室乾淨，客廳很大可以跟朋友或其他室友在這談天吃東西，食物不可以帶進去房間內！老闆娘態度很親切，還要幫忙我搬行李～比起專業背包客棧的設計，這裡就是給你家，給你睡覺乾淨舒服的家，感覺不大一樣！廚房設備都可以使用，也是很方便！

非常喜歡，非常驚喜。 服務和環境並不是一般期待的那樣嚴謹整潔，甚至有點懶散感。但就像是走進了別人家借宿一晚，是很值得的經歷。民宿老闆似乎是在樓上經營工作室，也時不時會來用一下公共空間(其實，應該是他們家客廳) 公共空間和住宿空間的比例大概是5：1，充滿了島嶼的慵懶感，非常非常有趣的空間。 雖然就在國際通的後巷但一不小心就會錯過，錯過了以後在後巷破舊的小巷穿梭，無意間經過的浮島通，或是破舊的非觀光的地區，都是很精彩的那霸體驗。 我還會來住這裡，原本只當作棲居一晚的簡單床位，卻成為豐富的常民體驗。
