Great location, quiet rooms”
We were worried our rooms would be noisy because of the location but the window/balcony doors totally blocked out the noise. Hotel is clean, great rooms, ask for a bathtub (the other couple who checked in with us got a shower and it's pretty small)

My girlfriend that is in general sensitive regarding hygine cause of her sensitive skin had marks growing there and they got out after the shower , we suggested that is because of the bed ... and the feeling comparing the hotel we visited after in an other place was different regarding cleanliness

This is my 2nd time in Astoria, the best thing is the staff in all areas especially Vasiliki in reception, and Tina in room service. I tried 3 room types Budget single stay was not bad at all very good value for money if you don't mind a back side window view. There are 2 types of double rooms, you better make sure you get the bath tub and 6/7th floor rooms they are the best with a nice balcony. There is a smaller type of double rooms which I got on the 4th floor. The bedding also may defer from nice into a type that makes noise when you move in the bed you can ask staff to change that otherwise the beddings are all neat and clean.

not booking that hotel anymore”
The hotel is quite new and located near city center and shopping areas. i have always been in this hotel when visiting Thessaloniki but wont book in it again. had the worst mosquitos fight ever and almost stayed sleepless all night. so much noise from the road traffic which passes near by and a heavy cigarette smoke smell in a non smoking room.

Friendly, no-frills, good location”
Bathrooms pretty small; shower curtain clings to body while showering. Breakfast not very good/uninspiring. Staff was friendly! Very clean. Wifi is spotty and falls out a lot; also requires the standard trick of sitting close to the door to the room :( Because of uninspiring rooms and breakfast and wifi, I would probably look elsewhere, but if the price is right you will not have a bad stay here.

Open air disco next door plays loudly through the night”
Behind the hotel is a large resonant space surrounded by other tall buildings. From 11 pm onwards, the adjacent 'Caligula' disco starts playing at high volume, clearly audible through the double-glazed windows. At 2 am I requested a quieter room, and to his credit, the duty receptionist quickly arranged another room on the other side of the hotel, where we were able finally to sleep. Prospective guests should ask not to be booked into room numbers ending -10 to -19, where the noise nuisance is unavoidable. Perhaps because of the high number of Jewish guests (signage in Hebrew), there are no pork products in the breakfast menu.

The hotel is located in the busiest city centre shopping area. Few meters from the beach. A new and modern hotel with large, clean and comfortable. Staff hospitable and good breakfast. In general excellent experience and worth the money.

located in tsimiski road, city centre and close to shopping area. quite a nice and modern refurbished hotel with welcoming staff. rooms are clean and the view from the windows is incredible. the bathroom is tiny but well refurbished. there is not a free safe in the room, you would have to pay in order to have key. free wireless.

Good location, now interior and free wireless”
the hotel is located in the heart of the city of the shopping and nightlife area. you can easily find parking in the tiny roads around it or in the private parking area few minutes far from it. staff is quite friendly and there is free internet wireless in all the hotel rooms. rooms are quite newly refurbished except of tiny little bathrooms. take your own shampoo as there is none in the toilets.

Good hotel, but..”
We stayed for a long weekend (friday-sunday). The hotel is very nice but the staff wasn't so able to manage a problem at shower to fix that I noticed the same evening we arrived. Anyway the only problem was the shower with curtain!!! OMG, unbearable!!!
