Exceptional”
We loved this hotel! Welcome drink and snack were yummy. Breakfast was fantastic, rooms were darling and clean, and the WIFI was fast. The waterpark was not busy, was in good repair, and the kids loved it. We especially loved Meliza G. at the restaurant at the waterpark. She was the best with our children and went above and beyond in her service. The kids loved playing ping pong, pool, xbox, karaoke, and doing puzzles. We booked one night and ended up extending to two. We could have stayed there for two weeks, no joke. Nice spot to relax after our island hopping in El Nido, Coron and San Vicente.

Astoria Palawan - one of the best hotel there is”
We really enjoyed our stay here, we arrived pretty late than our supposed check in time due to various circumstances but they still welcomed us with open arms! They still served us complimentary drinks and dessert even with lack of time or staff due to the time frame, the complimentaries came late and was served in our room instead which is a good thing! The hospitality of the staff really made me and my family want to come back to this place, I hope every Astoria hotels here in the Philippines are as kind and as welcoming as the staff in Astoria Palawan. I really commend kuya Marco for being a very chatty and kind waiter especially kuya Jordan who was very kind and sweet to us throughout our stay, he even made the chef cook some danggit lamayo for us to try, after we mentioned how much we want to try it because of hearing that danggit is special in Palawan. Kudos to Astoria Palawan! we'll definitely be back soon!

Unforgettable memories at Astoria Palawan”
This is our first time in palawan and even though we didn't have a chance to have a tour, we enjoyed our stay in astoria. Facility is a 100% clean, staff are very nice and food is amazing. It's just that we came to Astoria after the typhoon Odette and we didn't get to experience some of the facilities as they are still under renovation. Overall we enjoyed and will be back soon for sure.

Best place to stay in in palawan”
Staff are super accommodating - we arrived at 9:00am and they allowed us the check in at 10:00am. We are even allowed to check out late. Food is scrumptious! Everything is well made. We had our stay for 2 nights at this hotel last December 26-28. Our over-all stay was worthwhile and relaxing. The place is conducive for families, couples, or just finding a place to relax. We also enjoyed their amenities during our stay. What's surprising, their Customer Service is outstanding! I'd like to commend all their staff, especially Jordan. We're planning to celebrate our 10th year Anniversary here soon! Looking forward to visit this resort again and hoping to see lots of improvements on their amenities such as physical activities. If you are planning to bring kids- read this”
Kindly note that I used my platinum voucher from my Platinum membership in Astoria apart from this agoda booking I paid for. Astoria Palawan somehow redeemed my frustration with Astoria post sales process ( I will make a separate review in FB) Check in process was smooth. I like that they have pearl necklace and unique welcome drinks for guests. They also have a small presentation regarding the hotel's facilities. Dan from front desk was very accomodating. He even looked for me at the restaurant when my room was available. Rooms- Clean, Spacious and safe for kids running around with wet feet. No risk of slipping. They provide free water in big bottles Food- everything taste good, staff are attentive, quick service. Meiry the supervisor from the restaurant is very helpful. She even arranged a complimentary cake w balloons for my daughter's bday. Facilities- a lot of playground area, waterpark and pools are clean, the kids will enjoy. I will definitely go back.

Quality beyond compare”
Although we experienced typhoon Odette during our stay in Astoria, we still received utmost service and comfort during our stay. Not to mention that their food is awesome. We will definitely go back there when it’s back to operations. Thank you Astoria for taking care of us during our stay.

A little bit pricey but totally worth it!”
Highly commendable are the staff - they are consistent in greeting the customers, everyone were nice and accommodating. The breakfast options were different daily at least for my experience, stayed there for 4 days. The food options were a lot and delicious. My favorite food there is the soft roll bread. Even brought 1 box of it to Manila. Cons: There's a slight downtime of electricity during our stay, happened like 3-4 times per day around 3-4 mins. Not sure why, didn't bother asking since it's not really that bad because it goes back within 3-4 mins.

Perfect Vacation”
If you haven't stayed in this resort, I recommend this. The only downside is the location, around 1 hr away from Puerto Princesa, so you need to rent a van or request for pick-up, but aside from that, everything is perfect!! You need at least 2-3 nights stay to be able to fully maximize the use of the facilities. Perfect for family with kids and even for a group.

Family Staycation ”
We were amazed of how beautiful this resort is and the room is really big and very comportable and cozy. A well planned room in every details, we really love this resort and not to mention the hotel staff from the cleaners to the reception, restaurant personal and chefs and the golf car driver, their own hotel van drivers and staff in the ground are doing such a great job. Its really make us all enjoyed our staycation and we want to go back in Astoria Palawan in our next vacation. The food taste really good and my god the breakfast is really good buffet of international and local dishes as well is really great. We highly recommend this hotel resort to everyone. Worth the time and money to spend here.

Great family retreat!”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Astoria. The staff were friendly. The water park, pools and playgrounds were clean and spacious. Food and service in the Reserve restaurant was excellent. 2 reminders for the hotel here: 1. There were egg shells in the bowl of sliced boiled eggs 3 days in a row, even after notifying a restaurant supervisor on the 2nd day. 2. It'd be helpful if the restaurant prepared bug repellent for guests who forgot to bring their own. My husband got 10 bug bites after one dinner. All in all, Astoria is a great holiday retreat, especially for families!

The Resort is great. All of the staff are very friendly and attentive especially our waiter Matthew Garcia. The buffet dinner was ok, a bit pricey but there are different food spread every night so you don’t get tired of eating the same food. There are lots of things to do for the family, you can stay at the resort and keep the kids busy. The hotel is about 1.5 hour drive from the Puerto Princessa airport. WiFi connection is slow at times but Over all I would stay there again.

We stayed here for 4 days and we enjoyed our stay very much. The staff is great especially Mikee in the restaurant as she was so helpful and cordial. The breakfast was very great and we enjoyed all the meals we at in the restaurant on the premises. Multiple pools and private beach which is maintained well by the resort. The Christmas theme and decorations are beautiful We did go into the water park but its not really for older patrons but its great for kids if you are taking the family. The only negative is that it is like 60 KM from Puerto Princesa and further to El Nido but we rented a vehicle and could easily travel wherever we wanted to go. If you don't want to pay for tours I would suggest renting a car or other vehicle in town before going to the resort as it is not that expensive if you shop around. Definitely do the underground river trip as we did it by driving there and getting the local tour which cost 1700 pesos all and all including a pretty nice lunch,

Extra-ordinary Customer Service”
The front desk team exerts extra effort to service guests. I requested, on the last minute, for an exclusive transfer. While understandably all service vehicles are pre-booked already, the front desk officer (whom I forgot the name) went an extra mile to find me an alternate van which was also available immediately. Will definitely return. I hope their beachfront nourishment is done by then.

Nice place. Loved the water park- it was all free for 3 nights we were there to compensate with the other pool under renovation. Only unhappy about airport transfer. They were advised that arrival time is delayed due to plane changing time, the choices we had is to wait for the next schedule which was 3 hours away or pay 1800php. Location is nearly 60kms from the city. If you like adventure- just go to the gate area, pay more than half price fare than what they’re charging. Overall, nice place to stay around.

Really a Great Time”
Everything is good especially the service. Id recommend it to families as it has a water park and the pool is wide too and not too crowded. The only thing that distracted me was the smell of their sewage coming from the fountain in the beach side. They are rehabilitating the beach so that is fine.

We had a good stay here room was nice, and big with everything we needed best place to stay in that whole area we also really enjoyed the water park ! Staff was amazing , they also help us book day trips to El Nido, also had great security at the hotel really felt safe there.
