A hidden hotel”
Expect a long walk of about 10mins to the Hotel from Karatsu station. There is only one kobi store a about 5mins away from the hotel. The Hotel is also within a walking distance of Maizaru shopping mall, which has a supermarket. There are a few food shops around the mall area. You can walk from the hotel to Karatsu Castle while enjoying the sea breeze.

Asuka Hotel was the perfect place to stay for a weekend trip to Karatsu! Located right behind city hall, it's perfectly central, and just a short stroll from Karatsu train station. The staff was very friendly, and while I didn't have the time to explore all of the offered amenities, the free breakfast was simple but delicious.

Near the bus stop; 15 mins from the JR station (but straight away from the station so it's easy to find) Close to the temple, and the exhibition center The big shower pool was not open which is sad :(

Not worth USD 150!”
Overpriced at 150 USD! Not good value for money. Very small rooms. Balcony ridiculous. Location in a shabby ward. Not worth more than 75 USD per night - rip-off for what we paid. Staff were super-friendly though and the large manga selection at the reception made up for the rest!

初めて２泊の連泊で予約して、宿泊させて頂きました。 こんなに安くて大丈夫なのか心配するくらいでした。おまけに大浴場…のんびりと入浴させていただきました。 男性スタッフも、とても感じの良い方で気持ち良く２泊させていただきました。また唐津に行く際には、利用させていただきます。本当にありがとうございました。

まあこんなものかな”
部屋に入ってすぐ、独特の匂いがした。何の匂いが分からないが、窓を暫く開けていたらそれほどきにならなくなった。 それにしても、12時を過ぎたらフロントのカウンターに鍵を置いておきますと言われたのは驚いた。しかし、総じて値段に対するコスパはとしてはこんなものかと思います。

ビジネスで利用には良いかな？”
ホテルは住宅街のなかにあり静かでよかったです。 スタッフも対応は普通ですが、ひとりで何もかもこなしていてフロントにいないことがあり、少々不便でしたが、親しみのある皆さんでした。 朝食ですが、３日間とも同じだったのが残念でした。 男女交代制の大浴場もあり、便利ですが住宅街なので隣の住宅から見える状態なので、安心して入浴できませんでした。
