We booked this hotel as it was advertised in the centre of the town and we had never visited Athlone before. The host was very friendly and courteous together with her wonderful and efficient staff. Apartment was clean and spacious with nice utensils provided along. Great place to stay especially for family.

We had a wonderful time. Service was excellent, smiling faces. Parking facilities. Access to Motorways and highways. All in all we enjoyed our stay there for all above reasons and more.

If you love golf and beautiful views this hotel is for you. It offers top quality accommodation with clean, spacious and very comfortable rooms, mine had a magnificent view over the lake. The golf course is well worth its 30ish euro green fee.

A first class offering. Wineport is world class hotel but with a nice homely atmosphere. Great rooms. Great food. Great staff. Fabulous views. Very easy to reach from Dublin. It is a great credit to management and staff. A most pleasant venue. Patrick. Dublin.

Nice hotel a bit of a home from home feel with it being more a B&B but its attached to a Bar so not to far to go for a pint!

Cannot fault this Hotel in any way, everything was great from check in till check out. Great value for 4 star. Bar food was very good for lunch. Cannot comment on restaurant, as we ate elsewhere. Rooms were very nice, could do with a few more channels on the t.v, but there was a dvd player to compensate. Great shower and comfy beds. Excellent!

The room was big, comfy and clean. Very good bathroom and particularly shower with lots of pressure. Very friendly staff, quiet area, delicious breakfast, close to center.

This lovably B and B is situated in the country, but close to town. The hosts ensured it was a top notch stay in a lovely room, with an excellent breakfast. The hosts were warm and inviting, and did everything they could to ensure a comfortable stay.
