Great for families and divers”
A sophisticated and tranquil resort designed in such a way that you can enjoy drinks with others or find your own peaceful spot. The standard of food and drinks is high and varied. The diving is five stars in the support you get from DM and instructors and the dive sites that are in the immediate surrounding area. We have young children and we came specially to this resort to be able to do one tank dives close by so we didn't need to be away from the kids too long and also have an extra pair of hands to help with childcare. The resort didn't disappoint. In fact it exceeded our expectations. Most important to me was the staff - professional, easy going, great at what they do (cleaning, front desk, diving, bar, restaurant, you name it). My kids got sick (as kids do) and the staff were so resourceful, helpful and kind helping us get the care the kids needed. Thank you to everyone at Atmosphere.

The resort was very good, food was excellent, the rooms were nice and clean. But on top of all- the diving team was professional, accommodating, and friendly. We had an amusing diving excursions with the best team.

A Place for Relaxation”
The place is a paradise. The ambiance is relaxing. A very nice and safe kiddie pool. The food is mouthwatering with generous servings. The staff are very helpful, polite, and very accommodating. The room is impeccable, clean, and very spacious. A very nice place to relax, unwind and contemplate.

Exceptional”
Of all the hotels i stayed in, this is by far the best one. I guarantee that you can get your money’s worth. Nice furnishings and clean room. Very friendly hotel staffs. My favorite part of the room is the bathroom it’s bali inspired. There’s also a sanctuary near the beachfront, it’s rocky so you need to wear aqua shoes. We will definitely go back to Atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Easter getaway!”
Reception staff are stellar! They double booked my preferred room and messaged me for the mistake, instead of the penthouse suite which was my original booking, they gave me 2 apartment villas as we were 2 separate couple. The room is very spacious with separate toilet and bath. Shower area is Bali inspired, its located outdoor with open sky. We love that they advocate sustainability in their resort and would not come and clean your room unless requested. Breakfast was good and shall I say with very tasty warm breads. Although if you are staying there longer it would be great if they offer buffet breakfast so you can have different variety instead of the complimentary breakfast choices. Resto staff needs to be more attentive and polite, not pointing out everyone but the particular staff who attended us for both mornings. Overall, the stay was pleasant and I would love to visit the place again.

A good getaway ”
Though pricey, the place was clean and well-maintained. The staff was helpful & accommodating. The food, also pricey, but worth it. The freshly-baked bread served every breakfast were an added bonus. The open outdoor bathing areas in the deluxe suites took some getting used to though. It would be nice if there’s an option for indoor bathing, especially if it’s raining or if we had elderly guests who would likely not be comfortable bathing in the open, exposed to the elements. The parking areas were also far from the guest rooms, though there were people to assist with the luggage but it’s quite a long walk to the guest rooms if you had to carry some of your own stuff. Overall, it’s still a great place to relax and unwind - a good getaway.

Great place to stay”
Food is excellent, staff is great. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. The outdoor feel of the bathroom is nice but be prepared for ants, etc. The only issue I had was at checkout there were a couple things added to the folio that either I never used (minibar) and an item I paid cash for, make sure to ask for detail because all the final folio shows is a single combined total. Overall an excellent place to stay and unwind. Highly recommended and I will go again.

It is named well! Has a great atmosphere. Expect meal, alcohol and leisure activity prices to be inflated by 100% E.g they want a 10% surcharge for delivering my drink to my room. Only 10 meters from the bar. Almost never happens in the philippines

excellent room/villa and grounds! expensive food”
will definitely go back because of the: - inviting pools - spacious rooms (that really are villas in size), with outdoor showers - comfy beachfront lounge seats (esp the huge circular ones) - excellent sea view from the restaurant and pool bar the only drawback is their food and drinks are too expensive, which makes you not order too many rounds of your drinks or seconds of a meal. they're more expensive than city 5-star restaurants serving casual food. that said, their large pizza is the best good deal but their kilawin, while again expensive, is crazy good.

Really nice resort. Pools are perfect. Restaurant is same little bit expencive, actualy same prices as similar restaurants in any Europe capital city I guess. My kids did PADI there, also little bit overpriced course. I paid more, though enjoyed every minute there. Recommend it :)

Very nice and relaxing ambiance with its well manicured greenery, clean facilities, and well appointed rooms. A little far from the Dumaguete City proper and other attractions but easy to remedy by hiring van transfers. 2 things I find needs improvement: 1.) Food is the typical intercontinental selection. Expensive considering the portion size and taste is just ok. 2.) Consistency and level of customer service can still improve so that Atmosphere can really be at par with other luxury hotels. The staff were all pleasant and helpful during our entire stay but some incidents we encountered were: - Our group booked an Island boat tour in advance (booked it prior to our stay and confirmed when we checked in), and when I checked on the tour the night before, I was told we weren't on the next day's dive board. It was resolved eventually but they had to trace and contact the staff whom I confirmed the tour with during check in. - One female companion booked a massage 2 days ahead, and 1 hour before the appointment she was informed no female therapists were available. She was offered a male therapist which she declined. The spa was able to get a female therapist eventually but it was a little irksome to be asked that at the last minute. - During breakfast, I was told by the server to get my own coffee and juice at the counter as it was self-serve. But as I observed the other tables, everyone else got their beverages served to them directly. Still even with those encounters, Atmosphere is a very beautiful resort and is a nice luxury stay in Dumaguete.

Everyone were very nice and very accommodating especially restaurant and reception workers. My spa experience was great so much better than my spa experience in some 5-star hotels in Las Vegas strip.
