El Nido Accommodation”
Value for Money: Cheapest room that I saw in El Nido. There are cheaper rooms but they are far from the city proper. Location: Since the place is in the city proper, you are near on everything like bank/atm, restaurants, stores, pharmacy, bakery, etc. Cleanliness: The comfort is clean. Staff: Approachable. You can go to El Nido even without going through any travel agencies they can offer you a tour, even a motorcycle rental. Like me, I rented a motorcycle going to Nacpan Beach at 5am. The staff is available at that time. Facilities: Just right for the place and price. Since there are offering free breakfast, the tables are placed on the rooftop which is good. There is also a place to dry clothes after each island tour in El Nido. These are the basic things needed for a simple El Nido tour.

Three friends in El Nido for a week”
We didn't expect much, so we were not disappointed. Had to pay some more to get the air conditioning on, but that was also expected, since we paid only for a "fan room". Cheap price, good location, helpful staff and simple breakfast. If you are looking for a cheap room just for a good night sleep, I would give my recommendation for ATM Hostel.

location- all accommodations as long as they’re in town proper, just like this one, should be good. you’re near everything (resto & bars, beach, stores) but still quiet enough that you can sleep at night. room & facility - my husband & i aren’t really picky with accommodations when we travel, as long as we can sleep & baggage are safe. we do not stay in the hotel for more than 5-6hours a day, as we want to be outside & explore all sights, activities and tours. but we both think this facility needs at least a major upgrade on just one thing - their pillows. those are definitely not made of cotton, or anything soft. really uncomfortable and uneven and hard - all in one ;) staff- they’re the best. they will be the reason why inspite if how the room, bathroom, and the entire facility look like, you’d still love the place. they are very sweet & accomodating. if you ask them questions/suggestions, they’ll answer like they’re your friends, will all honesty and no bs.

Okay place to stay, kind of”
It’s not terrible, but the dorm beds felt like they were made out of cardboard, I actually had to switch to the bed that was down because it didn’t seem to hold my weight. It wasn’t really that clean, the toilets didnt seem like they had been cleaned since they opened. The mattresses were okay, just okay but weren’t comfy, and they didn’t really feel clean. The pillows were terrible, not even really pillows in some beds. The staff was very nice though, they greeted us every time we came by and helped us rent motorbikes for a good price. The breakfast was good, it filled us up, not the tastiest, but not the worst. The location is also good, right in the middle of El Nido town, close to the harbor. So for the price, it’s a decent place to stay, but I wouldn’t recommend staying more than one night personally.

ATM is a cheap hostel- so I expected cheap hostel standards. I booked a private fan room for two. There was a used plaster on the floor when we arrived and somehow the toilet seat had huge cuts in it and was not replaced. But the biggest problem we had wasn't the room- it was booking the fast boat to Coron. We booked and paid at the hostel 2 days before we were due to depart. The following day we had decided to stay at a different hostel. We finished our tour, went back to ATM to get our stuff and I thought I would double check the boat for the next day was booked. We were told no mam it's full. The staff were going to let us move to the next place without telling us we never had a boat ticket and without giving us a refund. Turns out they didn't even call the boat company the day we paid but left it to the following day. They gave so many excuses and never once an apology. Appalling customer service. Don't put yourself through it- there's plenty more places to stay in El Nido.

The room is okay if you’re really not picky and your budget’s tight”
The room was shabby, quite dirty, with dim lights and creaky beds with lumpy, thin mattresses and pillows, and very poor wifi signal. The CR was also quite dirty and poorly made. Considering the price though, we did not expect anything grand so we weren’t disappointed. The staff were friendly and helpful, which is a plus. I guess the room is okay if you’re really not picky and your budget’s tight (P400/pax/night in a 10-bed dorm w/ free breakfast). The breakfast was medium-sized (might not be enough for big-eaters but just right for us), and tailor-fitted (they cooked rice for us because we are Filipinos while the foreign guests got bread. =) Overall, I think the owner and staff made the best of what they have but they don't have much to start with. - no toiletries, no towels, no security for your things, poor housekeeping, very poor wifi + helpful staff, cheap, breakfast included with unli instant coffee, walking distance from most establishments

actually we did not stay in this place since we were transferred to Bacuit Lodge (same owner) due to problem of the guest previously staying in our booked room. in fairness to the owner/staff, they were very accommodating especially on booking of our van transfers, motor bike rental and tour.

Great value for breakfast and bed”
good breakfast, comfortable beds. Standard bathroom with a bucket cold shower. If you are on a budget you get what you pay for. Air con and not so comfortable pillows but I hope they will get new ones as everyone had complained. They cleaned the room daily.

Ok for a night's stay”
An ok stay for a night. El Nido has many power outages and this place had no generator (other places did). That meant no AC for many hours. Breakfast was ok and there is free water refills

Inconsistent Service”
Honestly, you could go to any other places to stay in El Nido, Caalan Beach, Corong Corong and find a better place than this. There is absolutely nothing special about this place that would make me gladly recommend it to anyone. We stayed in their "private" room with a broken toilet seat and poor water pressure, there is no place to organize your things, and the mattress and pillows all smelled like smoke. The most disappointing is breakfast, three out of the 5 days we were there the girl that was suppose to cook breakfast for us didn't even stay within the appropriate time of breakfast 7 am -10 am, leaving our food cold when we arrive and not letting us have our "options". You're paying extra for these "commodities" which you can find somewhere else. Plus, they couldn't count how many nights we were suppose to be there and walked in our room twice without asking.

Not worth it”
Pros: location; but El Nido is small so you're never far from anything no matter where you stay. Cons: my toilet had no seat or cover and the reservoir would not refill on its own so I had to use a bucket and water from the "shower." Breakfast was decent but a lot of oil. My room was never cleaned, even though they said (on paper on the door in your room) that it would be done everyday.

First time to book a dormitory type. You get what you paid for. Basic needs: bed, toilet & shower, plus breakfast was good! Staff was friendly and asked if I have already booked some tours. They offered cheaper. Had I known, i would have booked tours through them. good for backpackers. excellent location, nearby the market & sea & port for the tours.

They don't take care about hostel at all. It was probably the worst holstel, I ever stayed. Staff is nice, but need to do something! There are not only need of improvement, but also bed bugs! I would pay twice more, but stayed anywhere else. Also, can't understand, how this hostel got 7.0 rating

Good location ”
I'm not one to complain but this place is filthy, offers little to no security, laundry service was still wet after 2 days, noisy yet bo atmosphere and is just a dump. Stayed in many hostels in Asia and this has to be the worst. The single staff member that works there is lovely and the location is convenient, but that is it. Definitely not recommended.
