Relaxing family fun”
Auchrannie Spa provided good family friendly accommodation. Excellent breakfast buffet ( one of the best) and a good childrens buffet in the evening. There is also the option of adults eating in one of the other two restaurants in Auchrannie Country House Hotel and of using the more adult orientated swimming pool in the Hotel all of which we did . Well suited to a party of parents ,children and grandparents . Management always seem open to suggestions so I would suggest that dogs have less freedom in the spa and hotel. For the first time in all the years we have stayed there we were very aware of noise from the room above which was just guests moving about in a normal fashion. We will be back !

Loved it from the minute we arrived ”
After having a bit of hassle trying to change our dates , we decided not to loose our booking and Go .. best decision made . Loved it from the minute we arrived . Courteous bus picked us up on the last ferry . Got to hotel and was completely taking in by the surrounding s the decor the staff .. the spa .. the whole concept was exceptional and a really nice chilled weekend despite the weather .. thank you Auchrannie x

Fabulous Weekend”
Stayed in exec lodge with 7 others in our hen party. Lodge was beautiful ,resort facilities were excellent & staff were very friendly & helpful. Will definitely be back!

Great resort”
Fantastic pool, sauna and steam room. Room was spacious and bed very comfortable. Food good and restaurant lovely. All staff very nice and helpful. Had a great three night stay at this resort.

Great staff, beautiful grounds ”
The facilities on-site were great and staff couldn't be nicer. Rooms a bit noisy though. We were in the spa hotel and the floor boards from upstairs were really, really noisy. Also as we were in room 101 next ti Reception people were passing constantly and although just chatting it was really loud in the room. For almost £200 per night I think the Hotel could invest in some sound proofing and signs put up about being mindful of other guests.

Well placed leisure resort”
Wonderful resort with the works. We enjoyed it so much we stayed a second night! The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite. The restaurant has a great selection of food and drinks with a great breakfast! Only a twenty minute walk from the ferry terminal, but they offer a shuttle if you want a ride.

Great place for families”
We had 3 3 generations gather together for this holiday. We had 5 adults, a 5 year ols, a 1 year ols and a 3 month old baby. And not forgettig the dog! Great place for walks to suit all of us. Restaurants were all happy to welcome children and were very patient. (We did eat early though becasue that suited our children) Play areas and pool were well used by everyone. Lovely idea to have special entrance and exits for dogs and their owners. The courtesy towels for the dog were very gratefully received after every walk. The cholice of menu was great both for adults and for children at each one of the restaurants. We will certainly return.

Beautiful ”
I loved the fact the dogs were allowed in bar area in the evening. Was so cosy with fires. The facilities were really good & clean. Enjoyed the pool & health suite. Had a lovely breakfast. The grounds were also nice to takes dogs a walk. The location was perfect as close to ferry terminal plus walking distance to shops. Will definitely be returning.

Our only disappointment is being unable to get spa appointments. It would be nice to have a few appointment options open for guests when they arrive. If declined, they would be available for others. Guests should have some priority over local people!

Weekend with friends”
Ladies loved the spa and the gents loved the area for walking. Food was lovely in both Cruze and the tapas restaurants. Great facilities for the dogs and all staff were good with them. Accommodation is expensive but the experience we had was good.

The spa was so relaxing. The temperature of entire the complex was really warm which was so nice after days out walking in the cold rain. All of the food was super fresh and tasty. Thank you as well to the welcoming and helpful staff!

Hotel tried to cancel our booking or upgrade at our cost due to oversight on their part.”
Called days after confirmed booking and said they could not honour our confirmed booking. Given option to cancel or upgrade at further cost to ourselves, In quite an aggressive manner with little apology for their oversight. Eventually sorted by them upgrading us for free. However the days and numerous phone calls with unapologetic staff and uncertainty of accommodation for last few days of our holiday travelling round Scotland caused unnecessary stress for us the customers. Rooms and hotel were nice and well fitted out but nothing out of ordinary for a high star rating. Everything was clean. Fridge provided in fridge for our stay was not replaced when out of date though so more attention to detail needed.
