Weekend at Universal”
Stayed at Avanti for two nights. The room was clean and roomy for four adults, I would've liked to have a more modern and spacious bathroom, but besides that I would stay here again and recommend to others.

Complete Family Resort”
Pet friendly, enjoyable pool, relaxing hot tub, view of Volcano Bay, and scheduled shuttle to Universal. Restaurants and shopping near by, an arcade, laundry facilities, and food and beverage options on property. We have been here over a month looking for a house and they made it a little less stressful. The front desk staff are wonderful (friendly & helpful). From our experience I have no problem recommending this resort.

I’ve stayed at the Avanti Palms twice now. It’s a very nice resort with an extremely courteous staff modern room and convenient amenities. The pool is its main feature plus the fact that it is very centrally located

we were in the back part of the building and it had some issues, water stains on the walls, slow draining bathtub, rust showing thru bathroom doors. the NEWER part looked great tho!

Great hotel for value!”
Convenient location, seems older on the outside but the rooms looked recently updated. The premises are kept clean, the resort style pool is really great along with a nice pool bar/restaurant. Don't expect a 5 star resort, but for the price point it exceeded my expectations.

Great Location”
We were heading to Universal Studios area. Hotel was clean and nice pool area. Staff was sparse and not real receptive. Coffee maker was missing piece so no inr room coffee service. Had to track down staff for clean towels after several requests. Over all I would recommend for the convenience of the property to the Universal and I drive area. Pool area was very nice.

Don’t waste your precious vacation time in this hotel!”
This hotel is not the same as the photos and ad! Don’t be fooled. They facilities are old and dirty and the customer service is really bad. I called them to ask to change room (they put me and my mom in a connecting room and people next door couldn’t stop coughing all day - covid is in there) and they said that only would have free rooms on the other day after 12PM, because the hotel was full - never saw too many people in any place there, but ok. Next day on the front desk, the receptionist refused my request saying that every room of the entire hotel was occupied. I insisted a bit and said that I had already called the day before and magically a room was released for me. Unsurprisingly, the room I was given was completely DIRTY (have a used towel behind bathroom door and crumbs and dirt everywhere), I am sure they didn’t try to make a good experience. As we had just changed rooms with all luggage, we went to sleep and would ask for a cleaning for the next day. Well, the service room only works if you call asking but the telephone in my room wasn’t working rs Another time, tried to solve at the front desk and they just give me a number to call and said that I could only ask for a service room for the next day (saying it was an extra). I had to ask the cleaning girl who was cleaning the next room just to sweep, because was disgusting dirty. The location, hot tub and pool are the only reasonable thing in this hotel.

We had come off a transatlantic flight but at 04.30 our fire alarm went off for ? reason. We were told it would be replaced, but when we left 2 days later it still had not been done. However we were given one night gratis as a result as well as an apology.

Great location but needs to be cleaned”
This hotel is in a fantastic location. Facilities are good as well. Unfortunately the rooms are not thoroughly cleaned. Floors had no carpet and socks were black from the floor. Floor mat in bathroom was dirty from the floor and was not replaced the 3 nights we were there. Mirror was also never cleaned.
