I was skeptical.....but it Exceeded My Expectations! ”
Stayed for 6 nights during a volleyball tournament. Admittedly, when we pulled up I was worried because the outside of the building looked pretty old. But I assure you, they have taken every opportunity to update the area that they could in a way that makes you forgive and forget about the "old bones" of the building. The lobby is modern and cool (with a Starbuck barista included), the pool area was awesome and the rooms were clean and newly updated. The pool area has plenty of seating and the bar and music are great (consider staying open until midnight maybe) The things that were outstanding: 1)the restaurant at the pool area was amazing, the staff was always happy, welcoming and singing :) and the food was some of the best I've had anywhere. 2) the rooms were cleaned every day and cleaned well 3) the location is perfect, right in the middle of everything. 4) All of the staff was friendly and well trained. This hotel refit has been done right. You will not be disappointed!

Exceptional”
Excellent location and a gorgeously big room and a great toilet. Some reviews would have mentioned that the hotel looks like a modified motel, but while that's the case, the interior is excellent for families looking for a comfortable, almost luxurious, stay. It's clean, the staff are friendly, and the free shuttle to the major theme parks is an absolute plus. If you ever want to stay in Orlando, this is the hotel to go to--and there's great food options right outside.

I only drink decaf coffee so I asked the woman who cleaned my room and she brought me 2 more decaf right away. My room was clean and very comfortable.

Close to all amenities and lots of options for entertainment”
We started off with a room that had a pretty run down bathroom which we needed for the kids. So we were moved right away and the new room was excellent. Staff were great, food was great and reasonably priced. We also loved the pool and beach feel.

Great location. Near a supermarket. Several eateries. Rooms felt like it was more of a motel kind of feel rather than a resort. Rooms wise were relatively alright. However cupboard hinges were already spoilt when we went into the room. Provided shuttle buses to the theme parks. The shower always seems to leak out into the main bathroom area making everywhere wet. But if you aint fussy and need a place to stay you could stay here. Its convenient for alot of things.

Anniversary weekend. Asked for a room with a walkin shower and separate tub. Didn't get it. ”
Would have been a perfect weekend if I would've gotten the room that I asked for when I booked and paid for it. Staff said she didn't get the request but I had the response confirmation to show her. Maybe next time.

Do not recommend”
The hotel appears much nicer on the website. The restaurant isn't really a restaurant, more like a fast food court in the mall with subpar food. The property is clean, but the room is old, sparse and smelled of body oil. The "free continental breakfast" was bread (bagel, muffin or toast with butter/cream cheese) and a small coffee. I got a great deal on Agoda, so value for money is 5 star, however I would have been upset if I paid the hotel rate or rate posted on other travel sites.

the only negatives I can give is firstly the food at the pool bar, we had to wait ages for it to be ready and when it arrived it was very bland and flavourless. secondly, the pool plays music in the evenings which after a long day at the park the blasting music at 11.30 is not what you want to hear it kept us up and we struggled to sleep

Get what you pay for”
The hotel or the “resort” as they call it is far from the latter. Pictures definitely make it seem nicer than it really is, but again you get what you pay for. $51 per night should have been my first red flag, but figured they just may be hurting for business with everything going on. You can literally hear EVERYTHING! Walls are very thin and not the greatest clientele staying there. Was woken up several different times throughout the night, mainly because some douche bag wanted to peel tires in the parking lot at multiple different times throughout the night and early morning. Then would keep locking the truck to make the horn beep many times. Tried to mention it to the manager that morning as I was checking out, but was just told leave my room keys in the box and they’d send me an email with the confirmation. Well needless to say that never happened and didn’t really seem to ask or care how my stay went. Just drop the keys and leave. I’d say the only good thing about this “resort” is the location on International Drive being within walking distance of restaurants and attractions and they manager that checked us in was super polite and friendly. Definitely won’t be staying here again unfortunately.
