I arrived to a hotel which looked much more upmarket than the price I paid for London. Pleasant receptionist. Lovely spacious, bright, clean and modern room with lovely bathroom. Breakfast was more than adequate. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to all. Thank you.

With my budgetted travel , this place met my needs. It’s clean, quite location, walking distance from train station, restaurants and mini grocery shop. Receptionists are helpful and offers free healthy breakfast.

A pleasure to stay here ”
From a warm welcome to the final handing over of the keys we had no complaints. We even asked for more coffee and milk at 11.30pm and it appeared to be no problem. Our room and bathroom were clean. although we would have liked a sink plug and tooth mug (minor niggles). It was only a short walk from the underground station and about 20 minutes from Royal Albert Hall. Would definitely stay here again.

Pleasant Hotel in the heart of London”
The hotel is nice and clean, the staff were friendly and the price was very competitive. The location was very close to the underground but still peaceful and quiet. The only reservations we had were the mattresses in the room were poor, you could feel the springs and did not make for a comfortable sleep. Also when booking, we asked for a double bed but were given a room with 2 singles. The continental breakfast was acceptable but not great. We would use this hotel again in the future as long as the small issues were addressed

A utilitarian hotel in an excellent location”
Very basic hotel but definitely seems to be better than the other hotels on offer for the price. Bed was comfy and room was very clean apart from the general wear and tare which is expected in these budget hotels. Quiet, warm and good sized room though there was a strange smell of what seemed cleaning products. Location is very convenient within five minutes walking distance of Gloucester Road tube station. Don't expect frills or even a good tv. It's useful for solo travellers, business travellers and even couples who are on a shoestring-staff were very helpful and polite. Can't say there was much wrong with this hotel. Definitely recommend for the budget traveller.

I am so pleased we found this hotel, it was a great location close to everywhere and the staff were lovely , the only thing that I disliked was the breakfast selection in the morning! Other then that this was great!

Near to Gloucester Road Underground station. A quite street is good for sleeping but beware of scammers who pretending to be policemen, stopped you & requested to check your passport & money. Even if a stranger asked you to take pictures of him, just ignore him. To be safe, just ignore all strangers.

Basic room, bit noisy, great location”
The room was at the ground floor front face of the hotel - road traffic overnight was quite noisy and disturbed sleep. Bring earplugs! Otherwise couldn't complain - comfy bed, great shower, perfect location, lovely staff, basic but adequate breakfast. It's well priced for a basic well located hotel. Just bring earplugs, just in case!!

Room is fair, location not bad”
Not too far from metro station, there are supermarket and restaurants around the metro station. The area is quiet at night. The room is fair given the low price. Don's expect too much but not bad to have a bed in London at this price. Close to city center too.

Not a great hotel and not worth the money but great location ”
Basic rooms, very small bathroom, dated decor, smelt of bleach, curtains falling apart, dust on lampshades which were also falling apart, only one pillow provided, bed bugs!!, stale food to buy in reception and rooms not soundproof. Great location to Gloucester road station and south kensington station.

My tv had only 8 channels (all of which were random cable channels, no BBC / ITV/ Channel four) Concierge recommended rescanning channels which I did but still ended with 8 channels.. Sink in bathroom is too small to put a kettle under to fill water. Bed was not comfortable.
