Wonderful, relaxing, amazing”
Awashima was a wonderful, relaxing, phenomenal experience on a beautiful island. The rooms are gorgeous, with private balconies, giant bathtubs, and more to help you feel utterly relaxed, and the view of the bay is beautiful no matter what time of day it is. There's no getting around it being a pricey place, but the combination of atmosphere, wonderful staff, and just all-around exoticness makes me eager to go back. Thank you to everyone there for an amazing time!

An excellent hotel with incredible views and great services provided. Staffs were friendly and were keen on having communications with visitors, which was a good experience for myself. Lots of visiting points in Uchiura and Awashima during daytime. Although location was quite inconvenient, still worth for it. I highly recommend Awashima Hotel, especially to fans of Love Live Sunshine xd

Well kept facility. Their onsen was very nice. Amazing view of Mt. Fuji. Courteous and attentive staff. Being isolated on Awashima island was exactly what I was looking for, away from the businesses of the city. The website and other online pictures don't do it justice, this hotel is nicer than the pictures.

Absolutely recommended, wonderful location, great facilities, courteous and welcoming staff. It's a great destination for a special occasion. It's the most elegant and relaxing place I've ever stayed at. High points were the views from the balcony, spectacular onsen (which was not crowded as the hotel does not have many rooms) and a very unique second floor with an art gallery. The room was very big with a huge bathtub overlooking the bay and very comfy beds with top quality sheets. Lots of tiny details to make your stay better. Thank you, I want to stay there again!

Stayed here a night due to it being featured in Love Live Sunshine (Mari Ohara's house). It is pricier than your typical hotel due to it being a 5 star hotel but I'd say it's worth the experience. Large suite with a balcony view and even the bathtub in the room has a window facing out into the courtyard! The hot spring is absolutely amazing. There's an outdoor section that sits right up next to the bay so you get a stunning scenic view. Staff was friendly and were able to communicate in English as well.

This is a high-class, fancy hotel and you pay for every bit of that class. But, you get what you pay for. The rooms are spacious, particularly by Japanese standards, with a fantastic view of Mt. Fuji (weather permitting). The staff are great, the meals are wonderful, the hot spring baths are very nice. You also have the whole island to wander around on. A very nice stay, overall.

Just WOW!! Beautiful location...you are on an island!! Property is beautiful! All the love live reference are there and the staff is aware of the connection and are really friendly. Exclusive merchandise is only available here. Great place to visit but be aware it’s a high end resort!! Well worth the price if you are a hardcore love live fan!

Best hotel I stayed so far in Japan.”
Great view, onsen is nice right next to seaside. Staffs went above and beyond to help us have a quality time during the stay. Negative part, I saw a cockroach on the wall and had some hairs on the bath tub when I filled it with water. However, above all I would love to visit again.

2泊3日しましたが、船の乗船方法からホテル到着の荷物運搬まで対応いただき、非常に丁寧な対応で心地よかったです。 ホテルは部屋からの景色も露天風呂からの景色も最高でした。 夜の食事が少しお値段がしたのが残念でしたが、また行きたいと思えるホテルでした。

事前に確認のお電話を頂いたり、安心できました。現地についてからも、スタッフさんの対応は丁寧で、とても感じが良かったです。 残念なところは、食事が高いところ。離島のため、周りに食事出来るところはなく、島に渡る前か、ホテル内で食べるしかないのですが、夕食１人15000円は出せないです…。もっと、リーズナブルなお値段だと嬉しかったです。

残念な休暇になりました”
お盆の時期に2泊で訪問しました。貴重な休暇だったのですが、6匹のゴキブリ出現により心身ともに疲れの残る滞在となりました。 一泊目はバルコニーに3匹。さらに二泊目はバルコニーに2匹と室内のバスルームに1匹。一泊目の最初の2匹はスタッフの方が対応してくれましたが、残りの計4匹のゴキブリが出たのがいずれも夜中だっため、それらは自力で対応しかなり寝不足になりました。たった二泊で計6匹もの成虫ゴキブリに遭遇し、心身ともに疲れました。朝起きたら、大きいクモが寝室の壁に張り付いていました。 ゴキブリが出すぎて落ち着かないので調べたら、部屋中のベッドやソファーの下にゴキブリホイホイが置いてありました。ホテル側もホイホイを置くくらいゴキブリがよく出ると認識しているのであれば、対策をしっかりして欲しいと思います。お金も時間もかけず、すぐに改善できる点も沢山あります→ゴキブリの入り口となるあらゆる隙間やバルコニーの排水口をネットで塞ぐ等。 虫類は自然の多い立地だと出てきて仕方ない、と認識していますが、こんなに多く出てくると、ホテル側の対策不足と感じざるを得ませんでした。（事実、似たような環境のホテルを多く利用しているが一度もゴキブリは見たことないです。） スタッフの皆さんはホスピタリティに溢れ、大変丁寧に謝罪はいただきましたが、貴重な休暇が台無しになった気分はぬぐえませんでした。 他に気になった点 ・Wifi環境がとても悪かったです。 ・ディナーはレストランでいただくつもりでしたが、お子様がいらっしゃる可能性があったため、やめました。子供は好きなのですが、ある程度の値段を払い落ち着いた雰囲気でフルコースを楽しみたいゲストもいるので、様々なタイプのゲストに平等に喜んでもらえるよう、20時以降は大人のみ、などの時間制度を導入すれば需要があるのでと思いました。 ・お部屋と景色が良く、お部屋を楽しみたいゲストが多くいると思うので、ルームサービスメニューがもっと充実すれば需要があると思いました。 総評として、スタッフの皆さんの接客とお部屋、景色はとても良かったので、ゴキブリの件がなければ素敵な滞在になったていたと思います。残念です。

１泊2日で利用しましたが、チェックインからチェックアウトまで、スタッフの対応が良かったです。レストランのスタッフも感じが良く、料理の説明や、こちらからの質問にも丁寧に答えてくれました。 客室も広々していて、ゆったりと過ごす事ができました。窓からの眺めも最高です。 予備のトイレットペーパーの上に折り鶴か乗っていて、心配りを感じました。 お料理も美味しかったので、また宿泊したいです。

各部屋の窓から富士の山が綺麗に見えて、料理も美味しい素晴らしいホテルでした、 ただ、少し残念だったのは、夕食のレストラン(洋食)のスタッフのサービスの間が悪かったです。料理の味は美味しかったです。

沼津旅行のときは毎回泊まるホテル。 高級感と非日常を満喫出来ます。 築数十年と老朽化は否めないが、清潔感のある内装。前日オーシャンビュー、富士山ビューのスイートルームで一人旅のみならず、カップルやファミリーにもオススメ。 孤島のホテルなので、夜は波の音と虫の声しか聞こえないぐらい静かで、忙しない都会の生活から開放された気分になれます。
