Excellent stay with superb and warmest staff ever!”
I rarely write a review of my experience, but when I do, that always is when I go the extra mile to give credit to whom it is due - and BACAU BAY RESORT deserves all that credit! Went to Coron as an APOR and when it hasn’t opened to tourists yet (though just a day before). We were the only guests in the resort, and oh man, they were so warm, welcoming, and super accommodating! Di mo mafeel na tinatamad sila kasi kami lang andun and they didn’t really have to do much. But they did, even more than necessary. Super bilib ako how generous they can be with their service and all the good stuff. You’ll never feel ignored or left alone on your own. Always on the lookout ang lahat ng staff sa kung ano ang kailangan mo. Though we didn’t book our tour package sa resort, they treated us like we did, free baon, towels, goggles. May super duper amazing na maghahatid pa-tour at magwewelcome pagbalik namin sa docking area! Super sensitive ng mga staff with what we need! And Gilbert Uy is the best General Manager! Working on a Sunday, he’s just so all out. Nakakatuwa lahat sila dun - Raiza, William, Jaz, Sue, Twing, and everyone! The rooms and amenities are value for money - so clean, spacious, cold, complete with the essentials, two a/c units (1 for the bedroom and 1 for the living room), same for the TV. Once in a while, some refreshments and snacks locally available in Coron only, from Gilbert. A real excellent stay to remember. Will not hesitate to go back to Bacau Bay Resort in my next Coron visit, and to refer this resort to everyone!!!

Fantastic In-Town Resort + Exceptional Service ”
Great value for money. Absolutely exceptional staff + service. Fantastic facilities. It all made our "revenge travel" back to Coron all the more memorable. My wife and I had just come from Club Paradise, Coron so we couldn't help but compare it to our stay in Bacau. And suffice to say, Bacau wins out in our eyes. As vegan travelers, the Bacau kitchen didn't hesitate to cook up something special , even when we failed to inform the staff ahead of time of our dietary concerns. Even then, Bacau's menu is very vegan friendly; which has more variety than Club Paradise, despite priding itself with its own exclusive vegan menu. The staff is extremely friendly. They go out of their way to make sure you're right at home, whether it's arranging your airport transfer when it's completely slipped your mind, recommending great places to dine in town, or simply being on-point with the odd request midday. The instinctual friendliness of the people will always be a big part of why we keep on coming back to Palawan. The internet is a bit of a bother at night, particularly when all guests are back in their rooms. But it was stable enough during the daytime to squeeze in the occasional zoom meeting for work. Bacau lacks the beachfront of more premium resorts, but it makes up for it by being so close to the town. It's just a short trike ride away to the port for island hopping, or if you want to explore the local sights and sound. Bacau isn't an easy recommendation for us.

THE BEST HOTEL IN THE PHILIPPINES ”
WOW, JUST WOW! we stayed here for 4 nights and i can't recommend enough!!!! the staff were unbelievable, they couldn't help you enough!! they were so amazing! the hotel was gorgeous, the jetty was gorgeous where you can watch the sunset. staff came round the pool with cold flannels and cooling spray. when we arrived we were welcomed with fresh juice and cold flannels. rooms were spacious and clean. restaurant was lovely and great food! I cant recommend this hotel enough, i had the best experience here!!!!! when we checked out, they surprised us with a photo of us in front of the sunset on the pier. there are tricycles right outside the front of the hotel to take you to town or we walked a few times which took 15/20 mins. i can't stress enough how amazing the staff are. the grounds of the hotel is also amazing, we had complimentary kayak session around the mangroves off the pier of the hotel.we also booked a boat trip through the hotel. i can not find any faults with this hotel and the service. thank you for having us!!

We just checked out of this amazing resort and can not express how satisfying our stay was! The brand new resort met all of our expectations and more: Welcome The greeting from the smiling staff and the manager with complimentary drinks and cold towels at the oriental and beautiful front desk made a great first impression. A tour around the premisses and the luggage brought to our room continued to make us feel welcome. Accomodation Great standard on the rooms with clean, white surfaces and a balcony with pool area view. Area/resort facilities The pool area is great and the pool bar has a good vibe with very good cocktails. Hammocks in the garden areas, a small beach, another bar, view towards the scenic lake with mangrove forrest and kayak rentals. The private hotel pier gives the final touch when going on private boat trips and gives you that luxurious vibe. And try the massage at the spa! Staff The staff is amazing. Stunning hotel with the BEST staff!!”
We stayed here for 2 nights with our young children (1 and 4). The hotel is beautiful and the staff are outstanding - our room was spacious and clean with comfy beds and bedding and the fluffiest towels. The pool is lovely and the hotel food very very good - we recommend the fish fingers at the pool! We had actually booked another hotel for the next 4 nights but after one night there, we arranged to come back to Bacau Bay for the last 3 nights of our stay in Coron. We took a tour through the hotel which, even though was more expensive than you can buy down town, was delivered professionally and included pickup and drop off at the hotels private jetty - worth the extra money for confidence in the service. Gilbert (the hotel manager) is always present at front of house and is always ready to ensure a perfect stay is had by all. Highly highly recommended!

The perfect hotel to stay in Coron!”
Our stay in this hotel was just perfect! The hotel opened last week so everything is brand new and everyone is always so nice! Our room was super clean and big enough for us two! I enjoyed the pool which was in the center of the hotel. We ate 2 times at the restaurant, the food is excellent and price are reasonable for the quality. We also paid for a private island hopping tour, which was an awesome experience. We had 4 persons to assist us, we even had a waiter and a cook for lunch, incredible! The personnel is well trained and go above and beyond to provide you the best service ever! We were sad to leave and will miss everyone there! I highly recommend this hotel, do not hesitate!

Great Resort and Kind Staff. ”
Me and my husband stayed at Bacau for 4 nights and 5 days. The place was very convenient, you can walk going to Lobster King (one of the best resto in Coron) its also located at bayside so everything is nearby from the port to coron town proper. There is also motor cab waiting outside the resort in case you want to go somewhere. The resort itself was amazing, they had a bar where you can see the best biew at sunset, our room is big it has everything we needed, we're given new towels everyday. Sir junel the one who assisted us with our private dinner, was very courteous and he provided us with an amazing service it exceeded our expectation. Everyone was very kind and courteous, they always greeted us everytime we meet. The staff would always assist you in everything that you need. They also had the best spa, the oils thay they were using was very refreshing and calm makes you wanna sleep after. When you go out for a tour, they will give you beach towels as well. Everything in bacau was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay there. We definitely recommend bacau to everyone whose looking a place to stay in coron. We will definitely come back.

Exceptional”
We had an excellent stay at the resort. The entire staff were friendly, respectful, and accomodating to our needs. We fully enjoyed Alon Spa. The signature massages were so relaxing that we went three times during our stay. The Premier Suite was modern and enjoyed the rainfall shower. The breakfast buffet, menu items, and the Friday Mongolian Night was delicious. The GM, Mr. Gilbert Uy, was on-site daily to greet you. He was very friendly, professional, and cared about your stay. He had a very respectful and hands-on leadership approach with his staff to ensure guests were taken care of. The facilities were great. We had great view of the sunsets at the loading dock within the resort. They offered the most convenient transportation to and from the airport. There is a line of tricycles outside the facility entrance to take you the town and loading docks for island excursions. We used a driver named Jeff to take us daily to town, restaurants, and local shopping areas. Our overall experience was so awesome that we are coming back in JAN 2023!!! Glenn and Edie R.

Relaxing getaway”
The sun shone every day, we lazed by the pool, had drinks at the end of the pier and watched the beautiful sunset, went on an independent boat trip (organise through hotel, only 5000php for the boat then you pay admission fees as you go - highly recommend this option so you can visit as many or as few sights you want to see and don’t have a fixed schedule), popped in to Coron on a tuk tuk. The breakfast at the hotel was great, eggs cooked to order and lots of other buffet options. Our room was outstanding, go for room 401 or 402 if you can, large bedroom with huge comfy king bed, separate lounge, away from the hub a bit with lovely views (although next to the neighbouring property with some early morning roosters! But we soon got used to them)., private balcony. Staff were professional, helpful and friendly. We loved our 5 night stay there. And I had a lovely massage in the spa. Water not potable, but they provided plenty of fresh water to drink.

The Best Hoteliers”
Warm welcome right from the get-go. The airport transfer driver, front office , room attendants, bartenders, and F&B staff catered to our requests - more of food cravings. They were open to serving "chicken arroz caldo" in spite of not having it on their in-room dining menu. Their CEO, Mr. Gilbert Uy, was awesome. He made us feel at home with his personal and kind approach. His staff seems to love working with him. Would also like to commend Asis for his hospitality. We enjoyed our tours.

Bacau Bay Resort is the BEST!”
We had a great time in Bacau! The place is just beautiful especially the Bar at Bacau pier during sunsets. We had the best sunset photos, and we really enjoyed their happy hour from 4-6PM. Their service staff is the asset of this place as well. Their manager Gilbert, took really good care of us. He even surprised us with an Anniversary greeting in our room complete with banmers and balloons with a complimentary bottle of wine! Just wow! And if you go island hopping, the boat can just pick.you up at the reosrt's pier! Super convemient, plus we can bring the hotel's beach towels! Kudos to hotel staff Henry and Twing at the Receptipn and Diana at the restaurant. We will definitely choose Bacau Bay Resort everytime we are in Coron. Super value for money!!

AMAZING”
Amazing is an understatement. The resort is brand new and well equipped. The staff are all extremely attentive without being obtrusive. If we wanted to have a chat and get recommendations they would stay for as long as we wanted to talk. When we were out in the pool we weren't bothered but quietly they would put the bubblers on for us. We even got a hand-written note from the cleaning staff after our room was cleaned and freshly baked goodies in the evening. Their attention to detail is second to none and this resort very much deserves your business.

I love our overall stay for 9 days (honeymoon)! Me and my husband are truly grateful that we found this hidden gem. From our arrival to our departure, the staffs cared for us. Special mention to Mr. Gilbert Uy (general manager) for our daily delivery of cookies on our room and even wine on Christmas Eve. We also appreciate the warm welcome of staffs: Mr. Twing, Mr. William, Ms. Jas, Mr. Jojo and etc. They even gave us souvenir photos. Every staffs are courteous and friendly, a true Filipino hospitality. Our daily buffet breakfast is superb! We also enjoyed the facilities: pool, gym, badminton, and etc. We were also given a free 30 min kayak around the Bacau Bay Resort's mangrove area. Our 9-day honeymoon stay was a great experience and I could say that I would love to live here. :)

Apart from the relaxing vicinity and excellent facilities, it was the whole Bacau Bay STAFF / Team who made our stay the best and most memorable. All guests are well taken care of ALL THE TIMEEEE and we were pampered and attended to like no other!❤❤❤ Waking up after a nice cozy sleep to great buffet breakfasts, spending the day by the pool, ending it with the best pizzas and sunsets at the pier bar with lovely cocktails - PLUS getting back to our room with complimentary evening sweet treats - what an experience!❣ Definitely one of my husband and I's best vacations yet. BEST RESORT IN CORON”
The very hands on resort manager made our stay hassle free. They are fully coordinated with the travel tours agency from airport pick up to every tours we went each day. The staff are all friendly and very pro active. Food you order in the restaurant is superb made with fresh ingredients, but there's a room for improvement with the free breakfast buffet. Rooms and facilities are very clean with scents of lemongrass all over. Will definitely be back soon.

Exceeds expectations”
The entire staff provided exceptional service before we even got to the resort and all throughout our stay. Arvee immediately contacted us to help with travel reqts (due to the pandemic) and tour arrangements, even following up on the local govt approval. Our family of three enjoyed the spacious deluxe room (and the free delicacies that greeted us every night). Food was delicious and options were plenty! Especially enjoyed the potato gratin, frutti di mare, pork bbq and grilled squid. The resort also has its own private pier, so setting off for the island tours was very convenient! We also really enjoyed kayaking through the mangroves, a serene experience. All the staff were always friendly and helpful including security. Sorry we didn’t catch everyone’s names, but special thanks goes to Twing, Mark, William and Mike of F&B, and Gilbert.

Excellent stay at Bacau!”
Highly recommended! Very courteous and accomodating staff! Very clean rooms! Comfortable beds! The whole property is very beautiful with sampaloc, duhat, casoy, bamboos around! We were well taken cared off especially with our injured children. Food was great and very reasonable! Special mention to Twing, Junnel, Michael and the rest of the staff!!! We had a good experience at this resort. They have their own restaurant and their dishes are delicious. We had different choices of food for the buffet breakfast every day. If you have a scheduled island tour, they can pick you up at their private pier. The sunset is nice there, too! Every after our tour, they have prepared desserts for us during our stay. The staff were also nice and very accommodating. You’ll probably have a good experience here, too if you stay with them.

I really appreciate the hospitality provided by the staff of Bacau Bay Resort Coron. I can say that they are well trained. I also love the hotel it's clean, well maintained. The food is superb, but buffet breakfast is just simple. But all in all I would really love to go back and I will definitely recommend Bacau Bay.
