Value for money and Location Location Location”
BPP or commonly known as Bacolod Pension Plaza is a perfect home away from home. It's very near Bacolod Plaza and the San Sebastian Church along Cuadra street. I also like the room and the very accommodating staff. If there's something that I would suggest, it would be better to highlight that BPP is in Cuadra Street. Along Metrobank and behind Jollibbee as normally, if you're taking public jeepneys, you'll be alighted in front of the Church and not everyone knows the exact location of the place.

Sweet Bacolod”
It was a weekend stay the Bacolod Pension Plaza is centrally located. Good thing that it is near SM Bacolod and the Manokan Country and the church. It is a budget friendly hotel and we spent less but was given good service. I was really glad that I stayed here. The staff are really accomodating. All questions and assistance were all taken care of.

Coming from an all-night event, I was very tired when I touched down in Bacolod, and I appreciated it that there wasn't much fuss in the check-in process. Check out was fast as well. Every bit of request we had was well attended to, and questions about the location of particular restaurants were answered promptly. The room was big and the bathroom large for a budget hotel, however don't expect some hot shower. The cathedral, a big mall, the 24-hour chicken barbeque stalls Bacolod is known for, and a well-loved pastry shop selling delicacies are all within a few steps away.

The best part about this place is it's location. All the important places in Bacolod are very accessible from here. The room is great, so much better that what I was expecting considering the price. And the staff was just very accomodating. This will definitely be my go-to hotel everytime i travel to Bacolod.

Great Location ”
I was in the city primarily to attend the Masskara Festival. The hotel was located a few steps from the parade route and the public plaza, it was very convenient. Its location in the center of the business/commercial center made it easy for my companion to attend to business concerns which were within easy walking distance. Public transport routes, as well as shopping malls, are also a short walk from the hotel.

More than your money's worth”
It was more than our money's worth. The hotel is strategically located near the plaza, the church and just 5 minutes walk to the SMX convention center. The staff are very accomodating, they changed the towels everyday and cleaned the room daily. Except for the CR which took a while to flush, the place is very good. I suggest a liitle make over will enhance further the image of the hotel.

central location, nothing else”
as expected for a 30 year old hotel, it shows serious wear and tear. rooms were much older than in the pictures. not sure if this is a common problem, but my room was damp and smelt mouldy. other than that, placement of a/c was not ideal as it is on bed level, and that proved to be too cold. hot and cold shower worked fine, however bathrooms were dirty, consistent with the overall condition of the room. staff performed within our expectations and check in/check outs were hassle free. laundry service is charged on a per piece basis. despite all that, the main reason you would want to stay at this hotel is because of the central location, as well as the cheap price. it's a 5-10 minutes walk to the famous manokan country chicken inasal stores (aida's is a must visit), as well as sm bacolod. it is also a jeepney ride away from the famous calea cake house.

"Great location. Walking distance to SM Mall"”
staying in this hotel will take you every where. there are jeeps to every part of the city and you don't need to spend for taxi fare. the reception will tell you which jeep to take and how much to pay. near the hotel is sm mall, san sebastian basilica, publi market, public plaza, eating places. it's the downtown area.

Great location, clean room and nice staff”
Stayed in the deluxe room with fridge for 2 nights. The room was clean and the staff were nice and friendly. Bath towels, tissue paper, small bar soap and shampoo sachet were provided.The bathroom has cold and hot shower.Room was cleaned and beddings were changed everyday. Hotel is strategically located at the heart of the city - right across the public plaza, near the cathedral and 5 min walk to SM City and Manokan Country. Will surely recommend this place to my family and friends.

practical for backpack travellers”
the hotel room is clean despite its quite aging looks from the facade. i think its rate is just fair for backpackers, who would only have the room for sleeping. its not a hotel though for staying longer or enjoying luxuries. what i particularly dislike about this hotel is the cigarette puff smelling corridors. it would have been better if guests would warm up to a more welcoming scent. outside is quite noisy even at past midnight well, bec of its location at the central marketplace, a major route of jeepneys plying to everywhere, the cathedral, and the plaza.
