Relaxing by the beach accommodation”
Location: The hotel is by the beach. It was such a treat waking up knowing that you were just a few steps away from it. It is very near the airport less than 10 minutes. It is along the Baybay (shore), alongside the numerous Seafood and Bbq eateries in the province. Roxas being the seafood capital of the PH, you won't be disappointed with the nearby choices. Food: Breakfast does not come with the room booking (unless you booked from Agoda). The food is pricey and not really worth it. I suggest you take your meals from the numerous restaurants nearby. The alcohol is priced fairly and drinking by the beach is the best part. Rooms: We had to transfer room twice. First 2 rooms were not what we booked. Room 10's, the family room (One double bed, two single) aircon was not cooling up. Room 9, which was the economy room, spent one night there. Transferred the next day to Room 5 (deluxe room w/o ref). Rooms had and antique-y feel, as did the whole hotel. It hasn't been upgraded in a while but it does its purpose. Cable has many channels, though it was a struggle using the remotes on all rooms. Staff: The staff were very warm and kind. Couldn't ask for better service.

Beachfront and cool ambiance”
At first, we had difficultiies locating the resort since there are no signage of Baia beach resort, instead it is named Tabai restaurant. The location on map is accurate only it is Tabai, not Baia. This place is very near to seafoods restaurants in baybay only on a walking distance. We had a nice time staying here, the staffs are nice and accomodating.

Great value for money hotel right on the beach”
Upgraded to luxury room with 3 single beds and with beach views because the economy room with double bed but no views was not available. Very friendly staff who love Agoda customers. Great beach location with expansive outdoor settings for dining, breakfast or just having a beer. Quiet romantic location. Only 5 minutes from Airport and 10 minutes from the mall. Highly recommended as the my preferred hotel if you need to stay in Roxas City. One tip though, don't use taxis, they are very expensive. Just use tricycles.

Quiet, friendly and relaxing.”
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was basic, but clean with everything in good working order. The food was acceptable, few choices and most were frozen, acceptably prepared by helpful staff. Just a short walk down the beach, or down the road (to the West) is a restaurant with a good variety of fresh sea food. I would stay here if I found myself in Roxas City again.

good location near airport and seafood court in baybay, roxas. Also near culasi port where you can sail to Romblon or Batangas Port. Sad to say no wifi in room and phone. No cctv and 24/7 security but nice receptionist and kind staffs. you can enjoy and relax at beach front where you can stroll, walk or swim at black sand.

Our stay at Baia beach resort was relaxing due to good ambience. But I have some suugestions to improve their service: they have to put up some entertainment at their resto, such as music or television to keep their guests entertained. (This review is based on my wife's opinion, so that she could also share her own experience).

The hotel was good and facilities are basic as expected of the price. The staff is helpful and polite. Location is good cos its by the beach and a 10 min ride to the airport and city.

Cozy resort with friendly staff”
What I liked most about the place: Staff were courteous, friendly and HONEST. We had dinner at the resort and was accidentally overcharged Php120 (US$2.60). After we paid the bill and went into our room, the waitstaff who miscomputed our bill ran to our room all flushed from the effort and profusely apologized for the mistake. I was moved by his honesty so I decided to give him the Php120 as a tip to say thanks for his efforts. What I didn't like about the place: Food was quite pricey, even for Manila standards. Hope they can revisit their pricing.

hotel location is great! in front of the beach and you can take a swim. also near restaurants. room was clean though wifi was weak in the restaurant area. Staff are friendly and would assist you in all of the things you need. good food too at the restaurant.

A roof over the head... Sea breeze... Relax and do nothing”
Went to Roxas to visit friends so just needed a place to rest. As this beach club was very near my friend's place (5 mins walk) hence I stayed here. Don't expect anything fancy, just a place for you to rest. Since its been there for a very long time expect things to be run down. Within the room, mobile data and hotel wifi would not be accessible or very very limited. The staff remember my need for a hot water flask at night and prepared it for me when I came back at night (of course I must returned the flask in the morning before I can have it at night). Local food included for breakfast good enough for me. Beach is right upfront!!! Expect strong sea breeze (while I was there) but I loved it! If you are just need a roof over your head, nothing fanciful and with a low budget but with a 'seaview' then this will be your place.

the location is near the bay-bay beach, that's why it is very peaceful and romantic.. traditional spanish ambiance...we are surprised when they informed us that they upgraded our room for free from economy to deluxe room because we booked to agoda... thank you so much

Wonderful setting”
Older but well maintained, one story , almost cottage type setting. Great setting for watching the sunrise and set and walking the beach. Many small restaurants within walking distance. 10 min trike ride to shopping mall, 5 min to airport. Nice little beachfront cafe on the grounds. No internet access and no free wifi nearby..had to go into the mall to access the net and print things.

Wonderful. Good value. Nice beach, some debris, with an offshore island. Lots of palm trees, flowers and other plants... You can see the stars at night... beautiful birds and all kinds of butterflies. They take good care of you and the hotel here. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. Bring a good book and have a drink in front of the sea!

Beach front with a good view”
The club management was considerate enough to provide me with my missed 2 breakfast plates the day before we arrived. The only problem was that I had arranged to stay for two nights but was only able arrive at the club for the last morning I was suppose to be checked in. I had previously arranged and informed the receptionist that I will be coming but still unsure what time and day but definitely arriving at least for the last day or night of my booking. When I asked for my room the last morning of my supposed stay, it was still not clear to the receptionist if I could still access my reserved economy room which disappointed me because I have previously informed her of my intentions of coming. The receptionist did not like my tone or perhaps the volume of my voice and complained to me. I think it was a normal reaction on my part since I had previously communicated my arrival and I was someone dismayed that we did not know whether we could still access the room which I had paid for in advance. The room that I should have stayed for the previous 2 days and 2 nights. I expect more courtesy, the receptionist complained but I was only expecting a no problem stay in the club that was why I communicated previously. Eventually we were afforded our room but I really did not like the extra stress that why I was taking a vacation. All these were shrug off, with the courtesy of the other staff, particularly at their bar and the scenic view of the beachfront. I hope they correct the attitude of the receptionist towards their guest. Really I like aggravations during my vacations.

Receptionist is uncertain of our booking”
When we arrived in the hotel the receptiinist is not sure with our booking reservation of our room, i told her i thought it is in the system that i dont need to call them before our arrival , though she try to check ifvthere still available room for us , 2nd they charged us fee for breakfast for our additional addult or bed . Inspite of explaining her that it is included to my booking. Well but they are helpful of giving us direction or to our inquiry to some tourist spot surround roxas. Over all they are nice but uncertain of their policy of agoda booking .This is my first time i encountered this kind of problem eversince using agoda

I have stayed here several times now and have to say that things are not improving. There does not appear to be any active involvement by the owners or management. The menu has not altered at all in over 4 months still the same very limited selection. They have a nice beach front location but on this last visit I was appalled to see how dirty the beach was in front of hotel. I really think they should make an effort as a hotel to ensure that the are in front of hotel is reasonably clean. The rooms are very basic and could really do with brightening up. In my opinion management really need to knuckle down and deal with some serious but basic issues.

In the morning there were fishermen catching fish via the pukot method which we joined and a good experience, further, several naval ROTC cadets doing cleanup on the beach which is inspiring. Transport to/from the city proper is readily available and cheap, via tricycle. Nice and corteus front desk personnel, responsive to your queries.

The location was good, close to the Roxas airport and within walking distance to the Sea Food Court eating areas. The rooms was clean and the French Toast breakfast was good. Be careful of leaving ite”
It was a good spot to relax and enjoy the beach, though there was lots of jellyfish in the water. The view of the small islands was great, the rooms was basic, hot water was spotty, but in the climate cold showers felt nice.
