Great quiet place with jungle view”
Pretty house with very clean room. It even has a livingroom with a view into the green. Had a great stay with an amszing host. She cooks delicious breakfast and can give you many tips and helps you getting a Jeepney to see the best of the vulcano. Its very close to the airport too. If you go there to see the vulcano or are on a journey to Donsol, its the best place to stay. Dont hassle with going into the city center when you can walk to Daraga to get food and experience the local community. Thank you much for the great stay!

Feels like we were just at home, Very good breakfast, very nice room, Caren the family owner of Balay De La Rama took good care of us very well and her staff and her brother Ian was a very good driver and tourist guide. Incredible Short Vacation”
Balay de la Rama is a nice and cozy bed and breakfast. Ideal for family or couples that are travelling and looking for a relaxing ambiance. The host is very kind and accommodating. The breakfasts are so tasty and were plated like in a hotel. Since we got a room near the garden we requested if they can serve it there to make our experience extra special and they did. Its like we own the house (hahaha) coz their family/staff are so nice. Our room was spacious and very clean, they also have hot and cold shower. The location is near an local restaurant that serves authentic local food (Balay sa Bicol) and Cagsawa Ruins.

Best bed and breakfast ever! Everything is on point here, from the breakfast, staffs, rooms, cr and beds. Everything. Nice view of Mayon from the balcony. Super enjoyed my stay here and had a great time touring around albay and sorsogon. Will definitely stay here again! 😊

Very accommodating and considerate owners”
We arrived just after a major storm directly hit Legazpi and right before another storm was arriving to the Visayas region which brought heavy rains to Legazpi. Electricity was lost in the middle of our first night. During the day there was a generator set but it was only enough to power light equipment like fans and chargers for gadgets, understandable since it was not a hotel but instead a large home that was converted to a place where people could stay. Breakfast was superb. With the circumstances of having important amenities unavailable for most of our stay, the owner Karen offered to refund our remaining stay so we could book another place where we could be more comfortable. I think our stay would have been great if it weren't for the storm causing so much trouble. Parking might be a concern since the property can only take 2 vehicles in single file. I would recommend this especially to couples.

Thanks to Karen, the owner, for the warm welcome during our three nights stay. I love their breakfast the most esp. the turon they serve everyday. I could have asked for more as it is my favorite...haha! The location is excellent close to buses, tricycles, ATV ride and Cagsawa ruins. There is a coffee shop nearby called Pritti Coffee which is nice. Thanks to Karen for our pleasant stay in her B&B and her helpful ways. After staying at her place we made it to Subic Beach in Matnog. Sorsogon and enjoyed it. The bangkero she suggested was very kind. On our way back to Legaspi City we passed by Balai de la Rama and all we got are pleasant memories. Thanks also to her staff for assisting us carry our luggages and making sure our yummy breakfast is ready at our desired time. There was no instance we felt like strangers. They treat you like a family in a home away from home. Thanks again Karen and staff. We enjoyed our stay in Daraga, Albay. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

.. that is if you are friends with your grandma. We feel like we stayed at a good friend's house, owner is very accomodating. Location is great to visit Mayon/Cagsawa, and all nearby tourist attractions

The Host is the best and the garden view to the volcano is nice”
We stayed for 3 nights, which is probably a bit to much for the City. The host is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast ist great. The rooms are comfy and very clean. You can see the volcano from the terrace. The only annoying thing is the noise from the street and the loud ac. I could hear it even with earplugs.

Convinient location going to the Visayas”
Our family were traveling to the Visayas when we stayed in Balay de la Rama for a night. Karen was very responsive and accommodating. She waited for our arrival and made sure that we have everything we need for a restful evening- clean room and fresh linens, and even extra bed for our companion. We requested for our breakfast to be packed as we had to leave early to catch our ferry in Sorsogon. At 4:30am, the staff was up with our breakfast prepared for the next leg of our trip. Some areas where they can improve on is the signage of the place— make it bigger and more visible so they are easier to find, as well as invest in a shower with better water pressure (it’s nice that they have hot and cold shower). Best thing about the place are the staff, the homey vibe and the location (along the diversion road). Overall, we had a pleasant experience and would choose to stay with them again. Highly recommended!

We spent 2 days and 1 night at Balay De La Rama, the room was spacious, the internet connection is quite slow but if you're on vacation, it's not an issue. The place has a homey feel. It's quite far from Legazpi center, you have to ride a specific jeepney to reach the place or take the tricycle. Good thing the jeepney we rode knew the place. All in all, the place feels like home. The breakfast is so good. We will be back.

PERFECT FOR FAMILY OR GROUP”
House is tastefully designed. Entire house , 2 bedrooms and veranda where the long dining table have a fantastic view of the lake. The warm water swimming pool and jacuzzi tho is one level down with stairs access. Pool and jacuzzi can be viewed from veranda. Big extension kitchen available too. A big garden surrounds the house. PArking at side streets outside the house.
