Great choice”
This lodge is located right across Paoay Church, and near to many well-recommended restaurants. Keep in mind though that it is a rather sleepy town, so everything closes a little early. 8 or 9pm if I remember correctly. The rooms itself were clean. I wouldn't call it spacious but it was just the right amount of room needed for us and our things. There is also a convenience store right by the parking area and an empanada stop 1 street away. They also give free mineral water, you just need to bring your own tumbler/cup :)

I was happy about its location right next to the church. Really convenient location even Paoay town is small. Strong Wifi connection, Very clean room i would absolutely come back to this place again for the next time!! Thank you!

Clean room with free parking. They is convenience store a few steps from the lobby and is near with the church and restaurants. Recommended if your staying in paoay or laoag city.

Price is 'cheap'”
we had the family room and another quadruple room, and it costs 2000 or less than 2000 pesos for each room. so for the price we paid, it was worth the accomodations, the staff was helpful in terms of my request for towels. room has small tv with cable so the kids was able to have their dose of cartoons when in the hotel. it is just a room stay, we walked to a 'restaurant' nearby for breakfast.

Very near to the Historical Paoay Church and pasalubong center. There are nearby shops and cafeteria. Room is big and spacious. At the same time their aircon is enough to feel chilly in a hot weather. However, minimal foul smell on their bathroom.

Its just beside Paoay Church. Near famous Herencia Restaurant. Just below the lodge there is store that almost sell everything you need. There is also 711 near the area. Lodge is clean, with air condition, Hot and cold shower, and Cable TV.

Great location, good staff, homey feels”
Great rooms super value for money! Just for a cheap price we got a great deal actually. Showers were complete with heater, bed was neatly done and tv has cable. Very near paoay cgurch so the community was was safe. Just wish there were more restos open for breakfast around the area. They also pre order breakfast just tell them the time you needed it they'll deliver it in your room. Staff was very courteous and accommodating.

Great Location, and Ideal for a Stop-Over by Paoay Church”
If you need to stay in Paoay, near the church, Balay Travel Lodge is located right beside it. The place has parking for a few cars, and the Church as well as restaurants are all walking distance, just a minute or two away. Especially if you opt for the larger room, its well worth it, as its quite spacious, has a higher capacity AC, so the room cools much better, and has extra mattresses, and a couch for relaxing. We also had friends staying in the smaller room, which is better suited for lodging purely. As the space is limited, and there is no seating. Facilities are limited, but sufficient for say a night's stop-over by the Paoay Church.

Paoay Church is just in front of the Lodge... other attractions such as Malacanang of the north, Paoay Lake, Paoay Sand Dunes, Laoag City is just 30 mins or less away.. Peaceful, with affordable eatery nearby.

My family and I enjoyed our stay in Balay Travel Lodge. It's very near to Paoay Church, just across the street. Close to a lot of tourist spots. The family room is spacious. I will definitely book at this place again.
