Central hotel, basic but good for a stopover. Staff were really friendly. Some of the linen could do with an update, unfortunately one of the towels had mascara stains on it. Overall pretty cheap considering the location.
Staying at Gowanlea Guest House was lovely. It is well located, which allows you to easily drive around the Loch. We had an extremely warm welcome, and great help to find places to eat and see on Balloch. Our room was very fonctional with a renovated bathroom and very comfy beds!
