Still the best for the seasoned traveler!”
2nd and 3rd stays; location, location, location! It’s straight line to the airport, yet not in the loud flight path. The occasional dogfight and roosters crowing are pretty much the only background noise. It’s 2.8 km from Robinson Place mall which has some tasty eats. Breakfast here though is a treat and not to be missed. Between all the hotels I’ve encountered in Legazpi, Pasay, Angeles City, Malate, Makati, and Cebu City, this one stands out. I don’t need a pool; I need a safe and relaxing place close to any amenities it doesn’t already have. Bamboo Garden will continue to be my go to in Tacloban City.

It was amazing place to stay. We came from Manila to Tacloban City. My girlfriend is a local who has lived in Tacloban City for over 50 years and she was amazed that I found the place. The staff went out of their way to insure our visit was pleasant . We stayed for 10 days and the only problem was the location - and it was minor in that it is located away from all the shops and it was somtime difficult to get a motorcab. But on the other hand it made for quite nights fo r sleeping. I would come back in a heart beat.

Relaxed and quite”
Hotel is set back from the main road, short walk up the side street to the local markets for the essentials. Staff very professional and polite. I rented a car for a couple of days but if you have a local taxi contact or bike rental you should be able to get around. Rooms are large and clean.

Hidden Gem”
I stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions recently. I found it perfect for my needs, very comfortable with a nice style, great for the expat or travelling tourist. They do a nice breakfast and had there own chef on duty. I enjoyed my stay.

Fantastically”
Gigantic room, huge bathroom. Nice location 6min from airports. 10min to Robinsons. Very helpful staff ( always helped getting taxi or tricycle, even to carry bags to room). Very quiet place. Definitely recommend. If I'll ever go there again I'll stay again.

Staff are excellent. Food is very good. Room is big and clean. Here has everything I need for my stay Great bar with retro western music mainly seventies music all day, they would probably play what you want as there is a big selection.

First, the place was veryyyy quiet but I like that they had a mini-bar setup in the hotel. Also, the room was extra spacious and clean. What I like most about the room is the CR. I am really looking for a place with very clean comfort room and this hotel didn't disappoint. It also had a mini-sala, which made it more homey! My boyfriend loved it too. The only thing that can be improved on is the air-conditioning, maybe the room is too big or the AC unit is too old. Overall, this place is great. Will be our go-to everytime we visit Tacloban.

A great little place to stay and close enough to the airport”
Delightful room which was very spacious indeed. This was my second time here and it won’t be the last. Bathroom although large needs a simple shower wall to prevent the whole floor getting wet which most foreigners don’t like. Menu was a bit limited but what food they had was nicely prepared. This place has a cozy feel to it with really helpful staff. The outside door needs an extra fly wire door to stop the mosquitoes getting in. A kettle was provided as well as a large fridge. Split Aircon was excellent.

The place is just near Tacloban airport, ideal for travellers. The room is big with sala and has fast wifi connection. The only downside is the room privacy, the room inside can be seen from outside because of its thin like see through curtains. Overall its a good quiet place to stay. The staffs are nice as well.

My flight arrived early into Tacloban, so I went to Bamboo Hotel around 9 .Although my room wasn’t ready ,the staff were most accomodation allowing an early checkin .The room was large and well furnished including a small sitting room plus a very comfortable bed The air conditioning worked well as did the hot water The hotel is a little distance from the main town but we managed to get a trike quite easily to visit Robinson mall.
