A nice property with good amenities., The duty manager was really helpful., We had an issue with our room,(there was water seepage from the washroom roof, the technicians immediately had a look) and they accepted to change our room. Well lit , spacious rooms ., The issue with the property was the access road is currently blocked due to road work., Otherwise a wonderful property., Good value for money., Located between Giza and Cairo downtown , was accessible to major attractions., Pls don't go to the inhouse tourist guy, will try to fleece .,

Great place, great staff. Dont know much about the restaurants as i didnt eat at the hotel. Room was good although the fridge was pretty noisy, floors pretty worn out, bed was comfortable, big bathroom. Windows does not suppress that much noise from the street, so if you are sensitive to noise ask for a room which does not have a view of the street.

The approach road was bad but the hotel is on a central road so access to important sites is easy. The facilities are decent. Food options were good even for vegetarians. The pyramids can be seen from terrace

I stayed in this hotel for 1 month. It is an old hotel with old carpets. However they were changing the linen daily. Staff was excellent especially Mr. Attia who was asking me daily about my breakfast. They had provided me with earlier breakfast in my room when I needed it early. My special thanks to Mr Maher also who were asking me on and off that if I need something. Again thankful to Mr. Attia, Mr. Maher and Mr Waleed .

Great in Cairo / the Great Pyramids”
with my wife at the Barcelo Cairo Pyramids for 14 days was a "Dream Come True" . The hotel staff was very professional and friendly . They spoke English for my wife and me but they also spoke Arabic and French . We stayed for 14 days so we used the entire hotel. the Gym / Spa was great. the Pool was great . the Coffee cafe was great . the Formal Restaurant was great. And from the hotel , It is a 3 minute walk to Cairo Mall with a McDonald's . And with a 15 minute taxi, You can tour (1) the Great Pyramid of Giza (2) the Great Sphinx of Giza (3) the Egyptian Museum with the mummies and golden everything (4) the Cairo Zoo where you can feed the hippos . I had a great time in Egypt

We loved this hotel! It was a bit of a splurge for us but we met another married couple there and the hotel just ready made our stay amazing! They put us across the hall from each other and arranged an airport transfer for us! The man who picked us up from the airport was right on time and super helpful! He made us feel safe in Cairo's crazy traffic and even though it was about a 40minute drive, he showed us things along the way. The hotel greeted us all with homemade drinks and gave us free wi-fi. The rooms were nice and clean and very spacious! The room service was averaged-price but prompt, warm, and with a good selection. The hotel itself has about 5 restaurants and alcohol available. There was pool on the 8th floor with cabanas and shisha. On the rooftop, you can see the Giza Pyramids. There is a concierge there which I would recommend for hiring a driver for the day and for arranging a dinner cruise on the Nile. Everything else - do your research and you can find cheaper options (like the Giza Pyramid tour). The only complaint I had about this hotel was their wifi and how we never were able to get online and access it! The signal was always too weak and we had to keep getting new log ins for it to "work." Besides that, the location was convenient and even though it was very "chaotic" outside of the hotel, the inside was just perfect!

Hotel near Cairo centre and not far from the Giza Pyramids which can be seen in the distance from the hotel roof balcony. Room was comfy and well appointed but air-conditioning system was a little sketchy. The optional breakfast was wonderful, all kinds of exotic foods plus conventional western foods. Two hotel restaurants served quality meals at reasonable prices. Staff were most accommodating and spoke passable English.

Comfortable, relaxing stay.”
This hotel saved my life from a taxi driver from hell. Long story short, hailed a taxi from Downtown Cairo, and what was supposed to be a 15 min drive turned out to be a 2 hour "city tour". No amount of screaming at the taxi driver helped, and having a GPS in my hand was only a painful reminder of how much time i'm wasting. Only after the meter hit a 100 pounds was he willing to drop me off at my intended destination. Obviously, no way was I going to pay him for this unsolicited "city tour". I threw a 50 pound note at him and ran into the hotel, only to have him come after me. Thankfully, security at this hotel was first class stellar. As far as I know, while I was up in my room chillin' out, security had to argue with him for well over an hour. Mind you, this was no business of the hotel but they have gone beyond the call of duty and stood up for me. A kind gesture I will forever remember. Aside from that, the room (and bathroom) is worthy of a 4 star hotel. The hot water is consistent, the showerhead is pretty fresh, and the bathtub is clean. I went on to stay at a 5 star hotel the next day, but it was nowhere near Barcelo in terms of cleanliness and room condition. As for food, you have a good variety available at the restaurants. Portions are way too big for an Asian though. Only word of caution, if you go out at night so best to have your dinner in the hotel. They have shisha by the pool too, so that's a plus.

Rooms were lovely and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The comparable hotel in Cairo I stayed at was nearly three times the price. Situated between Cairo and Giza it was handy to everything, taxis or the small mini buses at the door and only 1 Egyptian pound to the Metro. Very clean with good pool area and breakfast. The car company could arrange anything for you and the rates were reasonable. I toured the south of Egypt and came back to the same hotel and they held baggage for me while I was away.

Great hotel and friendly staff”
My stay in Barcelona Cairo Pyramids was a wonderful and memorable experience. The hotel is new and testfully finished with modern facilities. The reception is big with a touch of glamor and class. The staff are very friendly and communicate well in English. I was shown the various facilities in the hotel including the roof top pool and bar, Italian restaurant and others, a spa, a well equipped gym. The rooms are moderate in size, cosy and very clean. A perfect idea for a peaceful sleep. The toilet is sizable also with good shower. I only wished the hotel was located somewhere else and not the Haram road. The traffic is really bad. Although, the hotel used a double sound proof windows in the room, with open window blinds, you can feel the traffic from your room. The roof top bar also appeared to be very lonely from 9pm. The small screen TV in the room can pass for a desktop computer monitor. One can hardly watch the screen comfortably while lying on the bed.

really near the pyramids. easy acess to cairo. atm point inside the hotel. gently staff and good service. there is a kind of tourist service to visit the old pyramids, the great pyramids and the sound and light show. to us, the prices were out, so we recommend you contact noga tour. we got nice price and a marvelous tour.

Fantastic hotel with amazing service”
i stayed at barcelo 2 months ago on my first trip to cairo, i didn't hesitate to book there again on my second trip, the hotel is beautiful, nice rooms etc but the thing that impressed me the most was the staff, so friendly, helpful with lots of attention to detail, you feel as though the entire staff is working just for you......great service!
