Great Apartment with the bestest Hosts”

we had a great stay at the barefoot Bonaire with the bestest hosts! Thank you so much Helen and Antonio :). Antonio picked us up from the airport and gave us a little sightseeing tour with eating recommendations trough the city. The apartment itself and the garden are even prettier than on the Fotos. Everything was lovely decorated, clean and just perfect. There are mosquito nets on every window, so you also can enjoy the wind inside. My favorite spot: the private hammock in front of your apartment :) Cheers, Vy & Wowa

Amazing Place - you will have a hard time leaving”

The hosts are super friendly and helpful and will make sure you have a great experience in Bonaire. The soft wind you get along the cabin is very enjoyable and allows to enjoy the nice outdoor kitchen and dining area. The Lodge is rather spacious and comfortable. They were super uncomplicated handling our delay in arrival due to struggles at amsterdam airport. You get everything you need in this place :)
The burners in the kitchen could be a bit hotter :) Maybe an additional small window in the bedroom would allow for the same refreshing wind that you get in the living room ... but there is bascially nothing to complain here ;)

S-tier stay”

Helen and Antonio are absolute gems! Friendly and very helpful in our goal of finding the best places to eat around town. They even called in ahead a reservation for us and snuck in a treat. Also, our flight arrived early so I was worried we’d have to wait to be picked up, but Helen was there holding a sign with our names on it right outside of customs. Every possible accommodation was above and beyond what I could have hoped for! The place was cozy and secluded enough from the other house on the property to make me quite at home. It had everything we needed plus some helpful additions (a coffee maker, a mosquito racket, broom and dustpan, a clothes line outside and many hooks inside for drying our swim costumes) As for the location, it is on a central rode that makes it easy to drive to the snorkeling spots and eateries we wanted to check out We’ll definitely stay here again next time!

Helen and Antonio were very helpful, welcoming, and accommodating! Pickup and drop-off at the airport was very helpful as well as recommendations and sometimes rides to other destinations.
Cute outdoor tropical vibe, but be aware of mosquitoes!

Apartment near the city centre”

The apartment was clean and everything we needed was there. Antonio and his wife Helen are great hosts, who will do anything to make their guests feel like home. The apartment is located very close to the city centre and the supermarket. It’s a great place for a welcoming stay in Bonaire.
There’s some traffic in the neighbourhood but it didn’t bother us. We slept very good at night.

Let's start with the welcome from the host: it's perfect. He met us at the airport upon arrival and drove us to the house. He even chased us to the airport on departure to deliver us a laptop we'd forgotten before we knew it. Antonio and Helen are really nice people. The apartment is excellently located, close to the supermarket and main road links, perfectly matching the photos. Recommended for the value for money

Lovely small pool & choice of sun or shade. Outdoor kitchen + dining was nice. Host picked us up & dropped off to the airport & gave a downtown tour. Close to large grocery store & cafe. Simple accommodation, but excellent wifi. Amusing marmalade cat!

Quality location, excellent hosts, great value for money!”

The location and facilities are excellent. Right by Kralendijk for convenience of walking into town centre, but if you’re diving also offers a great base to drive from and provides all the washing/drying areas you need! Helen and Antonio are excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating as well as offer great advice about the island. Our recommendation, book it whenever they have availability!

I'll be back!”

This place is a wonderful surprise. Helen and Antonio are great hosts and the property is welcoming and relaxing (love the decor, some of which Helen made!). The pool is so nice, as is the outdoor shower with places to rinse off your sandy equipment and hang and dry your scuba gear and swim suits, there is even an outdoor grill! The outdoor kitchen is really nice and there is an excellent grocery store just down the street (along with several other good stores). The location is fantastic, really close to downtown, just north of the airport. The property has ample parking and is very secure. Helen and Antonio know almost everyone and have great recommendations for places to eat or who to contact if you are looking for something in particular. Crazy but true - the tap water on the island is delicious. You don't need to buy or drink anything else. Also - there are cute cats on the property but they are very shy and won't get in your way. However, they do enjoy catnip and toys so if you have a little extra room in your bag - you might make a new friend :)
The island has more mosquitos than I'd like to remember. Bring bug spray, after bite sticks, and Caladryl lotion for the maddening itch. Also, the sun here is VERY strong .
