    Highly recommended friendly B&B”

    I travelled with my son and we had an excellent stay. The rooms and kitchen are immaculate and beautifully decorated. Fantastic shower in bathroom. Good, comfortable mattress on bed. Very thoughtful touches in the room; fresh milk in mini fridge, Netflix on wall mounted TV, and lovely range of shower products. Adherence to Covid regulations is maintained so well that it helped us relax and enjoy our holiday. The staggered breakfast times enable guests to be well fed yet kept safe; both reassuring and very enjoyable. The chef provided us with allergen appropriate food for myself which was much appreciated. The staff are lovely. Friendly and supportive, but also give space for guests to make themselves at home. My son said they were very kind and that we have to return as he felt so taken care of. As a person with moderate mobility issues and multiple allergies it was amazing to stay somewhere ground floor with smooth access internally. There is ample opportunity to use the kitchen for guests outside of breakfast time. This combined with the standard of cleanliness means I would recommend this B&B especially to anyone with asthma, or general allergies. The area around the B&B is easily accessible. Being able to pop in and out whilst visiting the beach made our stay magical. Not only is this B&B amazing value, it provided us with a holiday experience that we would highly recommend.
    This B&B exceeds expectations and delivers above and beyond customer service.

    Exceptional”

    This B&B is a little gem, with its modern feel, cleanliness, comfort, and location (a stones throw from the beach). There was everything in the room you could possibly need, with access to a kitchen and rear garden. The staff, and even the other guests, were super friendly. It’s a stunning little place and we highly recommend! We wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
    It’s not a criticism by any means, more of a suggestion, that the breakfast staff maybe don’t knock the door of the room that you’re staying in to let you know breakfast is ready. We weren’t late for breakfast at all and weren’t going to be.

    Great place to stay and like home from home.”

    In a very quiet location but close to the town. Very large room with great facilities and use of kitchen and dining area if required. Also access to outside when weather good. everything spotlessly clean and well organised. Tiny fridge useful in the room although rather noisy through the night.
    The en-suite was snug and for a larger person could be a problem however well supplied with toiletries etc. Bath towels also rather small.

    Family weekend away”

    Everything was excellent, the staff were brilliant and really welcoming. The room was massive and very clean with a lovely en-suite and a large smart telly on the wall with all the main streaming sites built in. The location was perfect as it’s only a 2 minute walk to the beach and a huge play park that was great for our 3 year old. It’s also only a few minutes away from the town centre.
    Couldn’t fault it.

    Nice comfortable clean spacious room. Complimentary dressing gown and mini fridge with water and milk and biscuits to enjoy with a cuppa. Nice Large shower. Great outside space to sit and relax. Kitchen area available for guest use. Had our wine nicely chilled in fridge. Owners really friendly and excellent breakfast.

    Fantastic enjoyed every minute.”

    Having stayed in various accommodation I would say this is the best accommodation I have stayed in for a short break. Incredible value for money and the owners definitely go the extra mile to ensure the accommodation is clean, welcoming, fantastic facilities including an outside enclosed garden area and it’s close to the town centre and has free parking . I would highly recommend you won’t be disappointed. We will definitely book again.
    I honestly can’t think of anything that needs improved.

    Awesome Barns b&b Ayr”

    Staff very friendly and helpful. Loved having full use of the kitchen and a lovely garden we sat out in at night, so peaceful and quiet. Bedroom was vey spacious, clean and bed was comfortable. Delicious breakfast and plenty of it and a great choice. We will definitely be back again in the future 😃

    Absolutely spotless. The cleanest and nicest B&B I’ve ever stayed in. Beautifully decorated and comfortable with lots of extra touches you wouldn’t normally find in a b&b. All covid 19 regulations for visitors to follow are clearly explained throughout. The owner is just lovely and the breakfast was amazing. Would highly recommend 😃

    Little treasure in Ayr”

    It was a lovely period house set on a Crescent of similar beautiful buildings Seemed to be decorated and furnished recently and spotlessly clean . The hosts , father and son were really good too and gave us a good tip on going to Culzean Castle . We became grandparents again whilst there , making it even more memorable.

    Set on a quiet road, lovely semi detached bungalow. Room was spacious, very comfortable. Bathroom facilities were great and the breakfast was delicious !!! The owners, were very attentive and facilitated a request for early entry to get ready for a wedding nearby. We couldn’t be happier with our stay.

    A happy couple”

    On arrival we was greeted by Shaun a very helpful young man. We arrived earlier then we expected and are room was still ready. We got car parking on the drive so that was brilliant aswel. Raymond who did are breakfast was amazing he always has a tale to tell to be honest he made are mornings. The breakfast was lovely and would definitely recommend staying there. If we ever go back that way the barns b&b would be are first place to try. Thanks for having us. Enjoy the chocolates.

    Perfect location within walking distance of all amenities. The idea of an entry code and keys,permit left awaiting you. 3 bedrooms which enables a more personal touch. Personal touches ie tea cakes water and milk in fridge, bathrobes and slippers all lovely personal touches. Very friendly host prepared breakfast in the morning which was delicious and of high quality. Lovely outdoor area to sit in and enjoy scenery and wildlife. We had the perfect stay and look forward to staying again .

    Location; given that Ayr has such a bad rep with public opinion the area was a very pleasant surprise. The apartment itself was spacious, the bed super comfortable and the fresh milk and decent coffee very welcome
    I would have put a better shower fitting in otherwise the en-suite was ideal

    the accommodation was very easy to find, parking was easy too. the room was spotlessly clean and very well presented. lovely little touches (dressing gowns, slippers, milk) really made the stay a special experience for us.
