Place is dirty, Staff not friendly”
The toilets and shower are totally dirty the staff doesn't clean at all and he isn't friendly. He looks constantly upset... It was the cheapest place in Tokyo on Agoda, but I'd recommend paying more instead of staying there.

The hostel is a small three bedroom apartment re-fitted to hold 16 capsules over a snack bar. ”
This place is not for people who read reviews. This small, thin-walled, three bedroom apartment sitting directly above a snack bar gives out ear plugs for all of its patrons due to it being open until 4am on some nights. The staff are only there long enough to clean and then leave. As a result of this, if you book with them then you must pay online and then they will send you a four code to enter the hostel. No one in the area seems to know that this place exists and aside from a small sign I found only by reading every sign on that street corner. The other facilities (toilets, showers, etc.) are good and if you are only staying here to adventure around Tokyo as a solo traveler as I was, (essentially only using the hostel as a storage place and a pilow) then this place is for you. It has great access to Komagome station and a wonderful community with great food and convenience stores. But the snack bar is why the ratings for this hostel are so low.

Nice temporary home”
Base Inn was homey though far from the City Center but walking distance from Komagome JR and Metro station. Nice peaceful location. Overall value for money.

Very clean, nice hostel with comfy beds and a small social area. Had an issue during my stay and they were really helpful about. No staff on property but the guy downstairs in the restaurant will be available for questions :) location close to metro station

Nice budget little hostel, but only for a few days stay”
The hostel is small, but quite cozy. Amenities are minimal, but they had 2 shower room, and 2 toilets for nale and female. If there is a problem you can mail the staff directly. I had a problem with clogged toilet once, the next day it is fixed

But no staff in this hotel, they just put some CCTV to watch over their customers. Because I stayed in a 4 beds dorm, some foreigners still chatting in the room, so I can not sleep until dawn,it's very annoying

Difficult to find. There isn't any name or signboard to find from outside. No staffs, own check in and check out. I felt place is very unclean. But price was cheap. I can not say it's fair price or not. I will not stay again.

The location is really great! Near the station, near convenient stores, near everything you need to include great ramen house. However, facilities aren't well maintained. The wash area is dusty and shaved hairs are everywhere. I dont think my sheets were changed either because there were still blond hair strands and im not blond LOL. The day I arrived elevator smells bad like someone smoked. I was quite disappointed too when i requested to extend an hour after check out and was told outrightly NO even though i checked-in a day late. Still I will recommend the hostel to my friends, I just hope the aforesaid negative comments were addressed.

It's a decent place to sleep for a few nights and the yamanote line train is where you will get to the main spots such as shinjuku, shibuya, ueno and tokyo station. It's easy to transfer from one station to another.

La première impression fut assez mauvaise : pas d'accueil, toutes les instructions par écrit. Ne pas se méprendre, il s'agit d'un dortoir, en moyenne 5 lits par chambre (3 chambres). Ca ressemble à un capsule hotel mais en chambre avec rideaux au lieu de portes à tire et fermer. Puis au bout d'un jour ou deux on comprend mieux. Le maître des lieux ne passant qu'une fois maximum dans la journée afin de réaliser les tâches au maintien des lieux en état, et on s'habitue au quartier, plutôt sympa ( plusieurs restaurants et commerce, mais il ne faut pas avoir peur d'explorer). C'est à 5 minutes à pieds de la station Komagome qui elle se trouve sur la Yamanote Line et située à 15 minutes en transport de grands quartiers prisés tels que Shinjuku ou Akihabara, donc pratique. Et pour que le lieu de vie soit plus agréable, il est conseillé de discuter avec les nouveaux arrivants histoire de briser le climat froid du au manque d'accueil. Idéal pour court séjour, le temps de trouver autre chose.

コスパ最強”
山手線駅近、商店街の中にありスーパーやドラッグストアも近い、バスタオルとスリッパと耳栓付きと破格のクオリティ。シャワーブースが小さく体の大きな人はしんどそう、冷蔵庫に入れる時は名前書かないといけないのにマジックペン備え付けなし、ペーパータオルが切れていた、このご時世に開けられる窓が食堂1箇所と小さな不満はありますが値段を考えれば大大満足また泊まりたいです。
