Excellent”
We had a pleasant stay at Batad Pension and Restaurant. The rooms were clean and well-sized. What I like most about the place is the view of the rice terraces from the restaurant. Perfect place for morning coffee. The bathroom, although communal, was well kept and has a heater for warm showers.

Nicest host and stuff, great experience”
Batad Pension and Rrstaurant is a great place to spend the night in Batad. The place offers a nice room - most of them with the greatest view over the terraces, nice breakfast, lunch and dinner in a friendly area where you can easily interact with the other guests and have a good time. However, the highlight of the experience for us was the friendliness and helpfulness of the host and the stuff of the place. Not only that they made everything easy for us but they also made us feel like we were actually home and became our friends instantly. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. You were amazing to us. Hope to meet again soon !! I recommend everybody this wonderful pension.

Stayed here for 3 night using this as homebase for our daily tours. The basic accommodations are what you pay for and can expect for this price. The service and food were perfect. Good sized portions and various options of all sorts of dishes. The view from the common area is priceless.

Very Nice Staffs, Friendly Owner and Great View of Batad Rice Terraces from the restaurant”
The manager welcomed our group with their native local rice cake :-) She also granted my request for another set of blankets because we are not used to cold temperature. They also offered our group native boiled huge size of "Kamote" Sweet potato and native coffee before leaving their pension house. Do not EXPECT 5* Class accommodations in Batad because it's location cannot even be reached by Vehicles, and If you want to order sea foods sorry to disappoint you that you are in the wrong place (hello?! you're in the middle of mountains!!!) also If you hear noises from roosters early in the morning don't be surprise!. It's not AMERICA or EUROPE so don't expect you'll be welcomed by luxury and do a research first before going there to avoid disappointments. Do understand that the location and daily living of people there is somewhat a bit primitive. One more thing, there's no Cell Site in the area so you can't use your mobile phones and NO WIFI too. No Private Bathroom too so meaning you will use a common CR.

Food was amazing! ”
I stayed in the native hut, and it was a unique experience. The only downside was that there is another place just up the mountain which was really noisy at night. Other than that, I had a wonderful time at the Batad Pension!

Nice place to stay ”
You are in the middle of the mountains and rice fields,don't expect 4stars hotel confort. The shower was hot and pretty clean. The bed was fine. And the people were absolutely lovely.

Good food, friendly owners/staff”
There is a great view of the rice terraces from several of the rooms, which made waking up very nice. You will wake up bright and early with the roosters started at 4am. They serve pretty good adobo and other Filipino dishes for reasonable prices. The drinks are very expensive, though (90PHP for a Coke), even compared to other Batad restaurants. The room did not have a fan and the mattress was very thin and hard, but it was clean. The owners' son is very friendly and helpful. He shared local myths about the waterfall, played the guitar and sang, and gave lots of helpful hints for trekking and travel. I met several other very friendly solo travelers here and overall really enjoyed the stay!

Séjour a Batad ”
Nous y avons passé une nuit mon amie et moi. Séjour vraiment parfait. Vue exceptionnelle sur les rizières. Le personnel est très accueillant sympathique et toujours disponible. Les autres voyageurs rencontrés eux aussi ont été très agréables ! Je recommande vraiment cette auberge. Une superbe marche pour aller au point de vue en haut des rizières et jusqu’a La cascade ! Merci pour tout

Les nuits sont très froides et les chambres pas équipées de couvertures = une nuit très froide Chambres pas du tout isolées = réveil à 5h par les coqs/chiens etc...
