A great experince!”
The staff was so kind and helpful. I sent a message before arriving to ask a question through the app, Irene responded quickly and helped me with my request. The food was great and the showers were hot! The staff made us feel comfortable and at home and the view is INCREDIBLE even though we visited in January when planting is just beginning. The hike in is easy, but out is bit strenuous, we were able to do it in about 35 mins with breaks.

The staff was friendly. The food was great. The room is clean and there is hot shower perfect for the cold weather. And the view from the window of the room is the stunning rice terraces and sea of clouds in the morning. Best place in Batad!

This is not Ramon Homestay.”
Please don't be confused. Batad View Inn is a separate homestay. It's not affiliated with Ramon Homestay, however, their location might seem like they are. Also, I highly recommend this accommodation because Kuya Jeff, the lone staff, is very considerate and friendly. I traveled here alone but my stay was totally worthy! Cleanliness is maintained. The ambiance and view are superb! The food is great! Will definitely come back when I get the chance.

Great view, lovely host”
Batad View Inn has one of the best views on the rice terraces you can get, during rain the view can be enjoyed from the covered restaurant terrace. The rooms are cozy and clean, all you need after a hike through the jungle and rice fields. Irene is a lovely host and an impressive self-made business-woman. She makes personally sure that all her guests do not miss a thing during the stay.

Good food & location ”
The food is very good but I didn’t like coffee much. Soft reminder,please don’t carry too big luggage. The hostel is in the valley, you have to walk down for a long distance . Also the way back is to walk on upper side.

Memorable Christmas Staycation”
A good location to stay if you want a view of Batad rice terraces, good food most specially the Chicken Tinola and Batad Pork Spicy. It’s memorable as we stay here for our Christmas vacation. Thank you for our spaghetti!

Not for the faint of knees”
My 2nd time to go to Tappiya falls in Batad, my first to stay here. Irene and her team give you the best service, very hospitable. No need for mosquito nets, you can make mountain water your drinking water and its free. If you want to pay respects to our forefathers and before them, go here, become one with nature and overcome your inner fears. Makes you want to come back again and again. I never thought Id reach this place 3 hours from my place if I take the shorter route via Mayoyao - another terraces showcase, and small waterfalls here and there. The simplicity of it all makes it so surreal.

Worth It!”
I was surprised they even picked us up at the bus station. That way, we didn't have to hire a tricycle to take us to Batad..We arranged everything with the van's owner , so our trip went smoothly. We were able to visit other attractions as well. The host was really nice. She even let us leave some of our baggage in their town inn so we don't have to carry it all in the trek to the Batad Inn. The place is located in the rice terraces itself, so there's a bit of a hike up and down a hill to reach it. It's a bit tiring but it became part of the experience and charm of the place. It has a superb view! Over all, the whole trip was tiring but it was worth it!

Wonderful ”
Batad is one of the most beautiful views in banaue, this little village has an incredible view right in front of rice cultivation. You can see the real life of the people who live here, and you have plenty of opportunities to explore the area! The owner is very welcoming and helpful, thank you Irene for your hospitality and recommendation. I recommend!

Irene and her uncle Ramon are very kind and helpful hosts. The location is breathtaking. 20 minutes steep walk from the nearest road, which gives a good idea of the impressive work done by the hosts to accommodate travelers so well in such a remote location. Good food, perfectly clean.

Great for backpackers”
Great place in the centre of the beautiful village. It's a guesthouse but you feel more like homestay. The staff (the older host in particular) is very helpful. We went to Cambulo and walked around the Batad village without a guide. They knew we don't take a guide and they didn't insist or even asked we should take one. Instead we were given a few good advices. They have good home-cooking restaurant which is also a great social area. In the evening the host makes a bonfire for guests and it's easy to talk to people. The rooms are clean and you have a view of the valley. There's no wifi and hot water but remember it's a rural village. If you dont' expect a 4-star-hotel you'll be delighted just as we were.

It is quit a hike to get there! Like really... but once you are there it is simply amazing! And u can do everything on your own, no guide needed. The falls are amazing after 1000 stairs! The staff is great, the owner extremely friendly! Get your legs ready tho!

Long 30-minute mountain and nature walk (& climbing down uneven trails) to get to the inn but the view is worth all the trouble. Best view of the rice terraces. A good prep exercise is suggested to be able to go down or climb the mountainous terrain. Better if you are fit and healthy. Weather is best in February or March.

Location”
Its a nice place with a very nice host there. They have good food reasonably priced. But the way there is a bit of a challenge. Once arrived at the "parking area" you need to walk down 30-45 min . The first part is soso but the final way to the hostel is extremly steep. 260 hight meters of 600 m. So prepare for that and get very light luggage.

Batad is 45 minutes ride from Banaue. It is another 20 minutes walk to the inn. The view is fantastic. The food was good. The staff were helpful. Make arrangements for a ride between Banaue and Batad. It is surprisingly expensive, if you don’t.
