I really enjoyed my stay at the Bella Italia Hotel. The hotel provides free one way airport hotel transfer if you inform them of your flight details. The staff are very professional and helpful. The travel agency is right in the hotel which is very convenient. Despite the small rooms, this hotel is a good choice.

Good basic hotel with decent buffet breakfast”
This hotel more than served its purpose as a base for our exploration of Iguacu falls. The rooms are pretty basic but workable. It is easy to get-around as there is a major bus-stop right outside (across the street) that takes you to the bus terminal, from where you can pick up (free) transfers to all major sites. Internet is free but slow. The tour desk on-site books tickets to major destinations but offers over-priced bus shuttle service also (that we avoided). Buffet breakfast was pretty extensive and good.

Very helpful staff”
I only had the time to stay for one day. Yet the friendly tour people located in the hotel lobby were able to book me on a tour the same day without any problems. In fact, it only took five minutes from I asked until I was in a mini bus on my way to the water falls! The next day, after I had checked out from the hotel and checked in at the airport, I realized I had forgotten my glasses in my room. I called the hotel, and the staff were very helpful in both finding the glasses and sending them by taxi to the airport, just in time for me to board my plane in time.

OK standard for a hotel in Foz de iguacu”
stayed one night to visit Iguacu. As I expected, Iguacu was very much touristic city and all the hotel was quite expensive for their actual standard. Considering that, this hotel was ok. Though hotel was old, the room seemed renovated recently and clean. We had a small balcony to dry our cloth. The one thing we didn't like was that the air conditioner was not cleaned and moldy, and the air from that smelled so bad..

good location and service”
you would not expect such a breakfast spread from such a small hotel. it was impressive, with fresh squeezed water melon juice, honey dew and about 5 other fresh squeezed juices, the rest of 8 fruit juices were from cans but of good quality. our twin bed room had an adjoining living room and the bath room was huge with bath tub, seperate bidet and shower compartment. the travel desk also manage to arrange our taxi from the hotels front door to the airpot on the argentinian side of the iguazu falls. crossing boarder and arriving at the argentinian side without us having to step out of the taxi (not even for immigration). first class service - it cost us$120 for the 40 minute ride. highly recommended hotel

Great staff - most helpful and multilingual”
the best thing about this hotel is the staff. everyone was extremely helpful and almost everyone spoke english or even more languages. a small problem with the room allocation on arrival was resolved within minutes and the tour desk in the hotel was quite helpful as well, although they "forgot" to mention the cheaper options sometimes. also the transfer cost - pickup from airport was 10 r$ and the quote for the drop off had to be negotiated from 30 down to 20 per person which still seemed quite expensive as we were a group of 7. breakfast buffet is great. really big choice and very international to please everyone. we all enjoyed the stay. shopping mall up the road is good for any sort of fast food or cheap bite.

Good hotel with one restriction”
Everything great with one restriction - free airport transfer is a weak side - although we confirmed it by phone - nobody took us from the airport and we must took a taxi. Insted of it hotel proposed aiport transfer on our way back (normally they organise free transfer only one way - from airport to the hotel).

this hotel was a good stay for the price, though it doesn't live up to it's 4* category. the hotel looks a bit tired, but the service is impecable and the staff is very helful. they have a wonderful included breakfast, and the hotel is in good location. overall a good base for visiting the falls.

Comfortable & Value for money”
Very good and comfortable stay. Hotel staff were friendly and helping. They even arranged for airport return transfer after check-out, in lieu of welcome transfer service (which was not mandatory). The hotel is a really worth the money spent.

Great hotel and wonderfull breakfast!”
The hotel were great! A good entrance, good food and good service. All 4*! The bedroom I would give a 3*! But service was great. All the staff are very polite! We went to the italian night and the was really amazing... so many kinds of cheeses that I barelly ate half of them. I sure recomend the italian night!

Very pleasant place to stay”
The hotel staff were very friendly and keen to make my stay as good as possible. They succeeded! The room was very comfortable and clean. The tourist advice was very good. The business centre and access to the internet was easy and reasonably priced. The swimming pool is small but clean and well positioned for quietness and capturing the sun. Complementary transport from the airport was efficient, well organised, very friendly and well appreciated. My only negative is the difficulty with finding animal free food that contained protein! I ate in the room from the supermarket.

Nice value for money hotel”
A good, value for money hotel in the heart of town, easy access to a mall within 5min where foodcourt, supermarket and drugstore was available. Breakfast was good, many items and all piping hot, with lots of coffee and tea. Free Wifi throughout the hotel makes staying connected easier. We stayed 3 days and upon checkin, was already given a 3 days free wifi password.

It was a great experience! If you speak Portuguese, get a taxi to take you to the falls instead of booking with the tour agency in the hotel.

Wonderful 4-star hotel”
stayed in a twin room. the main rooms are four star -but rooms are basic. a/c was very strong - perhaps too strong for us - and we didn't have much success regulating it.. would suggest hotel invest in - in-room safes that have combination locks - the - heavy metal lock that you have to pick up at desk - and then carry around the key were a bit odd for such a lovely high-end place.

The Hotel was interesting with a memorable cheese buffet with a one man band playing 70s covers. the gym was okay and the tour desk was very useful. It was good having a shopping mall close. I would certainly stay here again if I was going to see Iguazu Falls

Good breakfast, near taxi stand and shopping mall. Staff friendly. Has a tour agency in lobby, served by friendly and english speaking staff. However room is not properly cleaned, dusty and toilet door knob not working properly. On the whole room below my expectation. Breakfast spread was good, staff friendly and can speak english.
