Good for a weekend escape!”
The facilities are quite old but suit for the whole atmosphere. The edge pool is excellent except that the water is too cold (I heard that water is pumped from the spring and waterfall nearby). Spend at least 2 days and 1 night here and you will have good time. Quite far from the Tam Dao center. I asked the staff for taxi inquiry to the center and they quote an unexceptional high price. So, if you want to travel to Tam Dao center for food and more sightseeing, try to get some number of private cars there first. Breakfast is good. There is a local restaurant in front of the resort where you can find some cheap and delicious meals.

The price is quite good and the quality is decent. We had a wonderful and relaxed stay at the property. Staff were very professional. This might be the best place in Tam Dao so far

4-star exterior, but everything is 1-star or less”
for a huge 4-star resort, the English ability of staff was terrible. the receptionist didn't understand 'check out?'. same problem with the restaurant, tried to call room service, and they just hung-up the phone on me twice. the idea of the resort, and the outside is spectacular - but it's let down by the shoddy finishing, and the really terrible maintenance. it looks like a botched DIY job held maintained by a 65yr old father of three. everything in the restaurant is double the price it would be in town (where there are lots of shops serving delicious local mountain chickens and su su xao), and the resort itself is about 3km outside of Tam Dao town. for the one morning I had breakfast, they didn't have the ingredients in the kitchen to make my first 2 choices. really disappointed with this hotel, wish I'd stayed in the Mela (which is more centrally located, and right next to the silver waterfall) because I stopped there to ask for directions to the nearest petrol station, and the receptionist spoke much better English.

Don't go to this hotel! It was first time we travel to Tam Dao and we decided to treat ourselves by going to the most expensive hotel of the city. Bad decision: the hotel is really not close from city center. The view is nice but you have the same from other hotels of the city for half the price... Especially, the management of the hotel is terrible. Simple: there is no management there. Everything takes an eternity, from check in to check out... It really destroys our week end! Don t make the same mistake.

The room wall are dirty and cracked (small) here and there.Staffs are friendly and supportive. Food is a bit more expensive than restaurant nearby but at reasonable level with better view, table/chair and service.

The room was great and the view amazing but the hotel is very weak in other respects - a limited menu and unappealing buffet breakfast; apparently disinterested staff and some of the other touches that are usual in good hotels were missing eg. a properly stocked fridge; coffee in the room; a list of phone numbers eg. reception and room service...
