Rude Staff”
I'm really sad that I didn't have a good stay at Benikea Jungmun Hotel. First of all, the staff on the counter was very rude and he at first refused to even check to see if I had a booking. Then, instead of charging me the price that I locked on Agoda when I initially booked to stay at the hotel, he charged me an on the spot price which was around 40,000 won more than I had originally been told through Agoda. I will never be staying there again.

For my first trip to Jeju Island, I took a lot of care to choose the most interesting places and also a place to stay where I can explore the island without much problem. To choose to stay at Benikea Jungmun Hotel was the right choice, the location is right in front of the ocean, and of course it is right beside the Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls one of the must stop in Jeju, everything with a friendly distance of walk, I highly recommend it! The breakfast has a lot of options from Korean to American style, I highly recommend it!

Best location and excellent service at affordable price”
It was my first trip to Jeju Island. I would definitely recommend Benikia hotel Jungmun to anyone who is visiting Jeju Island, especially Jungmun area. It's a clean and cosy hotel with friendly and kind staffs who would help you with everything you need. The receptionist spoke in English. He helped me to find my lost iPhone. Only 3 min from the bus station where also you can get on Airport limousine. Close to everything Cheonjiyeon waterfall, museums and other attractions including teddy bear museum, trick eye museum, play kpop, a chocolate museum and so on. Actually, it was just a 15min walk from everything. Also, it's close to Daepo Jusangjeolli Cliff and a beach.

Great Location, Helpful Staff. Best Night in Korea Indeed”
I was in Jeju Island for a conference held in the International Convention Center. This hotel is a little over a kilometer away from ICC Jeju. It has a coffee shop near the reception area, a convenience store next to the building and a wide array of shops and restaurants within walking distance to the hotel so one wouldn't worry about getting supplies or food. It's also pretty safe with a police station and a fire station nearby so one would feel secure in the area. The staff were very helpful with my requests and the room amenities were sufficient for my stay. I found it very helpful that although most of the instructions in the room were in Korean, the hotel provided English translations for the various controls in the room (the only one I couldn't find a guide for was the alarm clock, but it was no big deal). The WiFi was pretty good too and there were plenty of power sockets for work. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this place to other people too. :)

The hotel is located ca 15 km west from downtownJeogwipo close to the Jungmun Tourism complex ( but not within) . Jungmun post office station ( shows as Jungmun transfer station on the sign board in the bus) is 2 minutes from the hotel making it an ideal location to explore the west/ centre of the island using public transport. Buses 181/182 provide convenient direct access to/from the airport . Walking to the beach takes about 20 minutes ( ask staff how to get there) .Convenience stores, bakery, coffeeshops , etc are within easy walking distance . The room shows signs of wear but was quiet, clean , adequately furnished the seaview clearly the most attractive feature. All staff speak sufficient English and are very helpful incl when it comes to navigate the public transport system.

Self drive to this hotel at my stay at Jeju. Hotel was very clean and spacious. Very much to our liking. Only downside is that the car park lots at the basement was limited so we had to park at another carpark which was a 2-3mins walk away from the hotel. Otherwise, we had a fantastic stay here I would say.

Just a walking distance to Cheonjeyeon waterfall”
We stayed for 6 nights at upgraded Deluxe room. Quite a huge room with only 2 of us staying. Staff at the front desk are friendly and if not mistaken only one of them is able to communicate in English. Location wise; there are a lot of shops nearby e.g. 24 hrs convenience store, coffee shops, eating place, supermarket (walk towards Cheonjeyeon waterfall - cheaper price to buy stuffs compare to convenience store). If driving by car, it was easy to locate and find the hotel using the GPS. There is a basement parking at the underground level with limited parking space (around 7-9 spots only). The entrance to basement parking is quite narrow, just be careful while driving in and out of the basement parking especially when it is full. Or else can opt to park outside at the designated open space area for hotel guest around 100-200 meters walking distance. Overall a recommended place to stay.

Great service and very clean. The hotel is quite small but maintains a very clean and minimalist interior. We were given a free upgrade to a junior suite. The hotel staff went the extra mile to book us a taxi going to the airport at 4am at the last minute. Will definitely come back here.

Friendly staff with smile, willing to help, can converse in English, give us a lucky draw when we check in. Free 500ml of beer but we don't take alcohol, lol. Room is spacious & clean, a warm ambience & nice smart toilet with heated seat. It is good especially during winter. A small & nice cafe is located on lobby of the hotel. Corn latte is delicious. There are many restaurants along the road. Convenient store(CU) is just beside the hotel. Great value of money.

Pleasant Stay”
The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean only that during winter they on the heater and my sister's room was abit hot and stuffy so got to open the window. My room is ok as it's on the upper floor. Easy to reach by bus 182 from the airport.
