Lovely hotel, staff are brilliant, yes some things need updating and don't quite work properly, but it's a lovely hotel and prices are not that bad.

Receptionist Naomi went above and beyond to solve an issue in our room. Cannot fault any of the staff that we came into contact with. Nice , spacey, classy building. Will definitely go again.

The hotel is the sort of seaside hotel common in the area. They look to have been once grand, have fallen from grace and now are in varying degrees of being done up or run into the ground by large hotel brands. This one seems to have been recently bought out. The spa and all the once nice facilities closed and any nice furniture removed and sold

We first arrived at the hotel. No wasn't any car park places left only a small car park. We went to our room it was very old fashion need updating. Also very strong smell of urine. Which we did complain about. We did get another room. Very dated too. A large room with 3 single beds But the heating was still on in the bathroom which isn't good when it's 32 degrees outside & you can't turn it down. We was melting window only open a little bit. Bed were comfy we just couldn't sleep with the heat. We was glad to come home. I will say a lovely gentleman hover up at the reception when we come in. Very nice & polite to talk to.

Not a hotel with spa or pool just a B&B”
No pool or spa open since covid!! That was the only reason I booked this hotel! They don’t tell you this even when you check in. A lot of work needs doing to this hotel, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Hotel is jaded but the staff are very nice.Breakfast was good quality and served with a smile. Bed was comfortable and warm. We were lucky and got a room with view over the lake. We enjoyed our stay and recommend if you looking for budget room prices.

Attended as a single parent with my toddler so we could go the fair and enjoy all Southport has to offer for children. Only thing I was disappointed with was the pool being closed so not all facilities available but other than that really enjoyed our stay! Staff in reception where lovely and friendly

Past it’s best”
Hotel is run down and in desperate need of renovation. I chose hotel as it had a pool, that was closed. Room only had one towel for two of us and windows didn’t open. No fire escape from windows either so not really safe.

Great hotel and staff were excellent and really friendly. Clean and good value for money. Only problem was that the spa and swimming pool where closed on arrival which wasn't stated when booking the hotel. Overall a pleasant stay and would return.
