great hotel for short period stay in Akiba”

it's actually in a good location for guys who will be spending most of their time in Akihabara like myself. it's only one cross away from Yodobashi Akiba, JR, Metro, and some 10-15 min walking distance from the main street (1 Chome). there are all kinds of neighborhood convenience and restaurants within short distance. it would be great if the hotel has more than 1 washing machine but it worked for me anyway. staffs are polite as in other APAs. will come back next time.

Great Location and worth the money”

The room is small but just nice for two. the hotel is just 5min walk from Akihabara Station. very helpful and friendly staff. Able to communicate in english. Cleaner will put the new towel and new toiletries in front our room everyday when we hanging the do not disturb sign. We definitely recommend you to choose this hotel.

The location of this building is excellent in that it is only 3 min walk from the station's Showa-dori exit (east exit). I was slightly disappointed with the cleanliness of the hotel - the infrastructure, such as carpet, walls, was worn out with age, so it wasn't one of the cleaner hotels I've stayed in Japan. The staff are accommodating and great. Recommend to first time travellers, or those keen to shop/play around Akiba/Tokyo/Ueno region late into night, where you could just walk back to hotel if you miss the last train.

Great location small room”

First of all, I took a double bed option but it comes with a extremely small room. The whole bed almost cover the entire room with minimal walking space. I need to open my luggage on the bed itself. That's the among of space that I have. The toilet is tiny as well with a very small bath tub but fully equipped with Japanese toilet bowl and everything I need. Doesn't come with any safe box and certainly, no gym or pool here. I have to say the location is very good as it's a traffic crossing from akihabara Station and the hotel is next many izakaya and other restaurants. The bed is one of the many good aspect as its very comfy but the pillows are a bit too flat. The whole room is hot though as its cold outside. Overall, a good for value stay but if you are with family or u simply need more space, do book the bigger room.

Great and convenient location”

Service crew are friendly and efficient. Location is good, just a few minutes walk from Akihabara station. 50 mins away from Narita Airport via Skyliner & Yamanote Line. 30 mins away from Haneda Airport via Tokyo monorail & Yamanote Line. Only two stations away from Tokyo main station. Yodobashi and Bic Camera nearby for the guys. Lots of pharmacy around for the ladies to stock up beauty and health products. Plenty of Japanese food around. Highly recommended.

Compact & Superb Location”

This hotel chain mainly suits for business traveler. Can't expect much on the room size. We hardly move around inside the room, especially we have big luggage. But the room is well-equipped with all the necessity, housekeeping frequency is accordingly to stay period. Plus, the location is very strategic, close to metro and JR stations, easy access to everywhere as well as the heart of Akihabara.

Group of 3 stayed in 2 separate double bed rooms with bathrooms non-smoking. Both rooms get bottle water & fresh towels daily. The room & bathroom very clean, most important in our books. Rooms very small especially bathroom; if over 5”5 you will have hard time using shower (we all over 5”9). Beds and sheets are comfortable but pillows extremely flat, we had to ask front desk for regular large pillows, third person did not get pillow as they ran out. Walls and bathroom had markings indicating age of building. Price per night expensive for small room. But we booked last minute so no other hotels were free. Would not stay here again if we had choice because rooms were way too small for us for more than 1 person. Very claustrophobic. Location is prime very close to the train station and good food. Front desk staff very nice and hospitable, English assistance not the best but with google translator we were able to communicate.

Basically you're staying here for the location, affordability, and convenience. The rooms are basically geared towards solo travelers (size-wise). It's a very safe bet, plus it's Tokyo - so you shouldn't be spending too much time in the room anyway.

the best location in Japan”

I love this place! the hotel located near akihabara station (subway and not faraway from JR station) we can walk to Yodobayashi just only 3-5 mins and there are a lot of food in Yodobayashi shopping mall and it's close 10pm - 11 pm.

I love all APA Ekimae”

APA Ekimae is very good for travel by yourself. It is very good location and good value for your money. As your time cannot convert to money. So save your time with Ekimae is very good. (Ekimae meant to "Close to Train station")

great for bff stay”

From narita airport to akihabara station - take keisei limited express line from narita airport and transfer at ueno to JR yamanote line (green). Apa hotel is conveniently located around yodobashi, walking distance from akihabara station to apa hotel. Plenty of food around apa hotel. 24hours 7-11 located in front of the hotel. Staff are friendly and welcoming. checking out with extra charges is easy - just deposit your card into their bin at the lobby. this is definitely the place to stay for a first timer. i stayed with my gf who is a first timer to tokyo. easily accessible to various places of interest like harajuku, shibuya, okachimachi (all along the yamanote green line). Definitely will return to Apa hotel the next time.

4nights stay”

Excellent stay, will definitely go back. Room is small, especially for travellers with big luggages. Very walkable from train station, convenience store downstairs. Toilet is also very cramped, room heater is not user friendly and we had to open windows which made it very dry and uncomfortable. Other than that, it is clean and cosy.

Very nice location within the Akihabara District”

The hotel is located just about 2 minutes walk from the nearest train station which is the Akihabara Station. It also takes the same amount of time to reach Yodobashi Akiba which is just across the road of the hotel. There are plenty of food places to go within the area as there are plenty of ramen shops just next to the hotel. It is recommended to stay here if you are looking to shop around Akihabara as the walking distance is nearby.

It's my second time to stay here. It's a convenient location. Just a few minutes walk from Akihabara station, a lot of restaurants near the area. The only downside is that the wireless internet (WIFI) is poor; you get disconnected every minute.

+ the hotel is nice , clean , tidy and near from akihabara station , the room is big enough ( japanese standart), near convenience store , next to the hotel, there is delivery baggage service , Yamato. Many restaurant with reasonable price

The APA Hotel Akihabara Ekimae is a great hotel. It's location is just about a block and a half from Akihabara station. So very easy access to transportation, shopping, and a vast amount of great restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was a little small, but fine for a single traveler. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaint is that the pillows are far too hard. I highly recommend APA Hotel Akihabara Ekimae for solo travelers like myself.

It must be mentioned that this hotel is very, very convenient. It only takes you less than 3 mins to walk from JR Akihabara to the hotel. Staff are nice and are able to speak fluent English, which is a plus. Room is slight bigger and very beautiful and clean. However, I could still smell of some smoke from outside even on a non-smoking floor because floors are connected together. After all, it was a wonderful experience and I must come back.
