Отель очень удобно расположен. Очень чисто в номерах, внимательный и вежливый персонал, хорошо говорят на английском языке. Есть парковка для автомобиля. Отель очень популярен у тех кто приехал за визой в Таиланд и так как визу выдают после 14.00 то заселится раньше у вас не получится. Для Саваннакхета очень хороший отель.

останавливались в этом отеле впервые 10 февраля 2016.. забронировали эконом вариант с двумя кроватями. отель находится недалеко от посольства тайланда, пешком мин 15-20. Заселили нас сразу. Персонал очень приветливый. В описании отеля не говориться что он состоит из двух корпусов: нового, который показан на фотографиях сайта и старого "Счастливого дома". Нас поселили в старый корпус. И мы очень этому благодарны. Это не просто старый корпус, это дом с огромной историей. Его построили в 1961 году. В нем жила счастливая семья, до сих пор этот дом несет их любовь. Дом с высокими потолками, в нем прохладно даже без кондиционеров. На первом этаже гостинная-холл с мебелью и один номер-комната под именем "Эверест", на втором этаже четыре комнаты, холл и два балкона. На одном из которых мы провели достаточно времени, сидя в удобных плетенных креслах, наслаждаясь тенью при палящем дневном солнце. Интересно, то что снаружи архитектура этого дома настолько современна, что не попав во внутрь и не подозреваешь что этому дому более пятидесяти лет. Про номер могу сказать следующее: удобные кровати, бесшумный кондиционер, все чисто.

Жили в старом здании, но ничего, тоже вполне хорошо, очень чисто, просторно, спокойно. Очень вкусные завтраки, персонал услужливый принесли нам микроволновую печь в номер, как только попросили, чайника в номере нет.

Pros. Great hotel not too far from the Thai Visa Embassy. You could walk it in 20 minutes but depending how hot it is! 5 minutes walk from the bus station. We booked the suit which was huge. Beautiful and clean. A few restaurants and bars nearby. Cons. Had a leak coming from kitchen sink in the room and safe wouldn't work properly. Gave up in the end. Breakfast was average but a young lad had an attitude problem. He didn't want to do anything apart from play on his phone and eat. When I asked for another cup of tea he didn't rinse the cup or even throw away what was left. So I got a dirty looking cup of water with a teabag. He didn't like it when I asked him for a new cup of hot water for my teabag! The other staff in there were lovely.

I arrived at the wrong Avalon had booked sister hotel and had been on a bus for 10 hours , hungry tired , new to the country and they accommodated me transfer everything over, breakfast was included. Warm very friendly staff. Location great from the bus station and Embassy access to sister hotel pool. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Great experience!!!

I book one night as i was getting a new visa for Thailand, as my visa was issued on the same day i did not need the hotel, the staff were very friendly and kindly refunded the prepaid amount for the booking, i will defiantly book again when i need another visa

Central , tuk tuks available, 10 minutes from a lot of sightseeing venues. Loved the coffee , fruit, bacon , eggs & baguette for breakfast.

Comfortable hotel for visa trip”
This budget hotel is located in a convenient location, not far from the bus station and 10-15 minutes walk to the Thai Embassy. The room is clean and nice size. There is small confusion regarding the room I booked but I managed to get the room I wanted and skip the breakfast which was fine to me. For the room next to the lift, you may hear the sound of the lift when it's operating but if you are tired/a deep sleeper, it should not be a problem.

Convenient for bus station”
I actually stayed in Avalon Resudence2 which is a new property and only open for 2 weeks. Everything is new. There is a small Swimming pool and children’s play area adjacent to off road parking. I arrived late (22:00) and was able to check in (paying cash but I did not have enough KIp but they would accept Thai baht. I went out to find a local restaurant/bar but on return all gats to the hotel entrance were locked. I had to knock on the window for the night porter to let me in. There was a good choice of 6 breakfast types which was then freshly made. The hotel was a 200m walk to bus station. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Close to Thai consulate for a visa run, a bit of a walk or a tuk tuk to the main part of town. Wifi was decent and the rooms are big and clean.
