Excellent value for money ”
We stayed in a family room on the 5th floor. It was a mountain and building view. It was lovely. The room has 6 single beds, sofa , coffee table , study desk and TV, toilet and separate shower and bath tub. The room was huge. It is a family friendly hotel. Many facilities to entertain the kids. I didnt use the public onsen as there were many people in it. I guess I wouldnt use even if there is just 1 other person. Just not used to being naked in front of others . The temperature in the room is controlled by a centralised aircon, I am comfortable with the temperature but my husband found it a bit warmer than what he would prefer. I would say the room was about 23 to 25 degree and the outside temperature was below 5 to 10 deg during our stay.

Great place to stay in Beppu”
My family and I visited Beppu for the second time, and we were so pleased with this hotel, especially compared to our first stay which was much more expensive. I was impressed with how cheap the rooms were. In fact, I was worried that the price was so low that the hotel would be very run down. It wasn't. The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean, and the staff were incredibly helpful. My only complaint is they do not have enough parking. We had to park across the street one night because the "free" parking was full. It was only 300 yen, but I think the hotel needs to have enough parking spots for all guests.

Great Stay ”
We loved our stay. The room was comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the onsen was excellent. You get robes in your room to wear to/from onsen. It’s open in the morning and then at night until 1am, which was great since we arrived late. They have their own parking garage, but no elevator in garage. Overall great place to stay in Beppu. Close to highway and not far from many “must see” locations.

Hotel with big rooms”
The hotel room is huge (for Japanese hotel standards), clean. Courteous staff. It has it's own onsen and is within walking distance to JR rail station. Opposite the hotel is Lawson convenient store. 10 mins walk to YouMe shopping center. Comfortable beds. Beautiful view of Beppu Bay from the windows, the sunset view is spectacular.

Spacious lugage compartment for us when we come in early and late check out. Very helpful and very friendly staff.hotel onsen on 3rd floor is huge and awesome! 5min from train station and awesome market under the tunnel/bridge while walking from station to hotel. One station away to Oita, another place for sightseeing. This hotel even loan nobile phone in the room!

GOOD ONSEN HOTEL”
Very memorable stay with my children at this hotel. I booked a 6 bedded room which is so spacious and modern. The onsite onsen is really clean and nice, and we have a wonderful time. Free on site parking is a big plus.

Great Access & Awesome Onsen”
For its price, Kamenoi hotel is one of the best in Beppu. It has quite an old feeling to it, but feels right for its price. It has very good access (5 mins walk from Beppu Station) and close to the Beppu market, and also a short walk to Youme town shopping mall. One of its best perks is of course its onsen. The onsen is clean and spacious, with one indoor and one outdoor pool. There is also a recreation floor with shops and massage chair in the hotel. Heard that the buffet is good but did not get to try since its closed due to corona.

It was second time to stay here, like first visit, we were really satisfied with staying here. U can always use public bath with hotspring water. I highly recommend this place, cozy and big room and clean!!!!!

Exceeded expectations”
Huge rooms with superb views of the city, mountains and sea. We ate in the restaurant which was great value for money. Such a lovely dinner. The only small con, is the wait time for the lifts, but given the time of year with the large number of guests, I guess this is to be expected. Located close to Beppu station.

Great location, walkable to Beppu station and YouMe Town, nice restaurants around Nice hot spring public bath and kids entertainment area, massage Can’t book a kid room & no baby cot, so i ended up choosing the room with 4beds, very spacious and huge beds, so i don’t worry that my 9months old boy will fall out of bed without a baby cot Value for money

We stayed there with 3 kids (9,6,6) and they had so much fun. Onshen was really beautiful. Dinner buffet was a bit crowded but we went early and it was alright. Kids had a great time and sure will come back for the next time

Room very spacious, spa nice , food variety and good taste . Even buffet also not very expensive . The hotel give 20% discount voucher in food consumption. The hotel is 3 star but feel like 5 star . Recommend

I am travelling with young kid and stay in the room for kid. It is very good and convenient. Onsen is good. Room size is very big with lots of beds. Staff is very helpful.

The room is clean and spacious with 6 beds. Its really not easy to get room that big these days. It's really suitable for 5ppl travelling. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The international buffet was quite nice too. Will recommend this hotel to whoever visiting beppu.

Better than the exterior!”
I was quite pleased with the hotel. It doesnt look fancy from outside but the rooms are quite new. They have Public Onsen and children play area. I was not informed of the play area until my check-out. Perhaps hotel staff should inform us upon check-in. Multi-level parking (next to hotel) is free for hotel guest. Lawson convenient store is located just opposite the hotel.
