Отель не новый, но в принципе поддерживается в порядке и среди отелей своего класса в центре пенанга он, пожалуй, лучший. Номера небольшие с маленькими ванными комнатами. Интернет платный, но недорогой. Завтраки довольно скудные. Рядом много ресторанчиков и кафе, улица с различными дискотеками и барами. По соотношению цена-качнство неплохой отель, но останавливаться в нем снова будем врядли.

Good location”
Staycation for daughter's birthday so that she could enjoy the bathtub. The bathtub was not that big. Been to other hotel that could fit me and my 3 yr old daughter. Got free parking. Staff is efficient. Location wise is good, you could go to many famous restaurants nearby by walking (eg. Sup Hameed, Roti Canai Transfer Road/Argyll). For shopping clothes you can walk to Sam's Batik. Only problem during my stay was the sink was clogged, it was fixed after complaining, but then it happened again. Other thing was the mirror in between toilet and room was not necessary, the toilet bulb so bright, so if you woke up in middle of night and went to toilet, the bright light may disturb your partner sleeping.

Nice stay at cititel penang”
Cititel penang is situated at jalan penang which is the heart of the city centre. Walking distance to famous ais tingkat,nasi kandar line clear and hameediyah makes it worth the stay. Places around like chowrasta and komtar are just few meters away. Breakfast was good with variety of choices. Room was comfortable and clean. But the parking is not made free for the hotel customers which is a bit dissapoointment. Every entry u have to pay rm4. Its better for u to take a grab to walk around.

I would like to compliment the Front office manager (not too sure about his latest position but i know his name is Soon Hock), who has been very attentive and provide his very good service this few years. With his great leadership, I had seen Cititel Penang improved to a better level this few years. I’m a heavy traveller that stay in hotel more than my house.. i felt it would be good for me to let the management of.cititel to acknowledge this great leadership. You can’t believe that I was making a complain to this gentleman many years ago when I believe he was a front office staff during that time. I would have move to another hotel if it’s nit him being so warmth and of course the front office staffs in. Cititel that always being so warmth.

Room 1024. Facing sea view. The room is small but king size bed, fridge, iron, praying mat, electric kettle with tea/coffee, single seat sofa with coffee table, toiletries, hair dryer, extra pillow , lcd tv, bath tub provided. everything was complete and clean. free parking provided for room guests. everything is complete and hotel is strategically located near to eateries e.g roti canai transfer road, sup hameed. also, we received cash voucher during check out. absolutely enjoy our stay there and will repeat it again

Hotel management arrange for my honeymoon trip to make my stay memorable. I'm satisfice with their service. the room is clean and look new. only toilet didn't do any renovation, but it is still very good and clean condition. The hotel is nearby to Blue mansion. it is very near to travel around by staying in this hotel. Will definitely come and stay here again!

Perfectly located within walking distance to many places and attractions. The room is spacious and clean, and the hotel staff are very warm and friendly. The breakfast buffet is nice, especially the freshly made roti canai. If you want value for your dollar, I would recommend this hotel.

Probably one of my best experiences for having a smoking room so clean and tidy. And not even a single burnt mark left on the carpets or bed sheets. Really enjoyed my stay with my fiancée as even the location was perfect to get food and drinks! Would definitely recommend this hotel 👍

Room is spacious enough with 2small children. Walking distance to most local eateries. Nasi kandar lover would love staying here becoz u can walk to nasi kandar line clear, bistro, hameediyah. Ais tingkap, jeruk pak ali,bee hwa, sup hameed, chowrasta etc is just within 3-8mins walk, no need to drive. 7 eleven n happy mart very near, good if u have urgent needs of med supplies. Buffet breakfast consider good to me, we have roti canai tampal..yummylicious.

The market is 5 minutes walk from the hotel. There are many eating houses next to the hotel. The staffs are friendly, courteous and accommodating. The rooms are clean and well maintained. I surely will recommend to my friend and will stay in this hotel on my next trip.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Especially staff Ling at the cafeteria, she was very hard working and friendly. The breakfast was good. Check in and check out was fast and prompt. Good location for shopping and eateries are nearby. Overall I had a wonderful stay and would come here again and will recommend this hotel to my relatives and friends.

Cititel New Year 2022 staycation”
Thanks to Cititel for accommodating my family of 6 during the tight peak period of New Year eve 2022, despite the high demand for rooms. The hotel staff provided me with an extra single futon bed to accommodate a last minute decision to include an extra family member from Penang. The reception staff was so willing to relocate us to a corner room that was bigger at the eleventh hour. We are so grateful for the Cititel staff for their concern and prompt decision making, that made our stay very meaningful for the New Year 2022

Clean room with nice deco n furniture setup. I got a seaview room, which it allows me to enjoy both sunset n sunrise from a large window screen. Cozy room atmosphere. Friendly staff and good location. Very easy to get your needs and food with just a walking distance. Not to forget this hotel also provide a secured and covered parking lot as well thus give u a worry less stay here. Highly recommended to all.
