Great stay”

This is the 4th First Cabin that I have stayed in. The concept is simple, affordable accommodations. When I travel, I don't stay in the hotel room much, just to sleep/get ready.

An modern twist on the capsule hotel”

First Cabin is great. Clean, modern and large cabins versus small capsules. You can stand in these things. Fresh towels, bedding, slippers and pajamas every day. Washrooms are well appointed and kept very clean. The staff is excellent and professional. The Tsukiji location is excellent. Just a few blocks from Tsukiji market and less than 5 minutes to the Hibiya subway line. Also a nice walk to nearby Ginza shopping area. FC Tsukiji has a bar and reception on the first floor which is very convenient. The only thing I would change is to get rid of the smoking room. Although it is sealed off you can sometimes detect cigarette smoke in the hallways. It’s always a fire hazard too. Japan still caters to smokers in a lot of places, so this is not unique. I recommend a stay at First Cabin anywhere. They do a good job of keeping the brand and facilities consistent and familiar.

I was staying this branch for 8 nights during my visit. It was actually quite ok for overall for the budget accommodation, except one of the bad experience during my stay was my neighbor (Japanese guy, working adult) who is staying at 201. Since this hostel is designed for the budget tourists and

Pros : The Location was just perfect. Near from train station, convenient store. The Hotel position just side of the road so easy to find. The room of the cabin was quite large for 1 person. The facilities was so complete, they provide everything all u need such as a towel (big 1 n small 1), tooth brush and toothpaste, pajamas, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, face wash, makeup remover, face toner, and face moisturizer (brand Shiseido). They also have hairdryer and hair straighteners/ curls. I think there’s no cons for this hotel. I just had such a great time to stayed at this hotel for 2 nights n will definitely going back to here when i go back to Tokyo.

I used this hotel for the first time. Amenity is substantial and you don’t have to bring your amenities such as, a pajama, towels, shanpoo, and face lotion. There is also a bar counter on the 1st floor, which has a calm atmosphere. There is also a space where you can eat. I am going to use the hotel again.

Good to stay a night.”

I had a plan to go to Tokyo station to take Shinkansen in next morning. It was good to look and eat around near Tsukiji seafood market and Ginza area. It is not a hotel with private rooms, so you may not expect that kind of things. But they have everything in public area. The things I didn’t like was the noiseness. The blind sounds are quite annoying during sleeping. They offer ear plugs though. And if you are very hygienic person, some dusts in cabin will bother you.

So perfect and convenient”

Near all the sushi restaurants, a lovely public bath on the top floor. They have everything you need to take a bath, shampoo and cosmetics. I stayed here for a long layover and didn't bring bags with me, but it was ok because they had everything I needed.

Love First Cabin very much. Tried a typical capsule hotel for a first time before staying at First Cabin. My conclusion....will never stay at other hotels except First Cabin whenever I would travel solo. Reasons: 1. Cleanliness is superb, cabin is spacious especially First Class. Private shower cubicle available and public bath with hot spa pool aka onsen. 2. First Cabin Tsukiji is quite central to popular places; Shinjuku, Akihabara, and Asakusa. 3. Convenient access to Narita Airport (1000Yen Shuttle Bus from Ginza Station which is two stop away from Tsujiki Station). Hotel is about 3 mins walk from Tsukiji station. 4. Hotel promotional rates are really value for money.

Great try”

We stayed here for a night just for the experience. Men and women have separate floors, so boyfriend and I had to stay apart for the evening. Most guests arrive towards 6pm or after, so I was basically the only female on my floor when I got there around 5pm. There were many more male guests than female. Overall a good experience. Our only complaint was the central heater that was on way too high (we came in December). It was too hot for us.

Definitely recommend the First Cabin hotels, great if you want to go to the fish markets! Close to public transport, very clean and spacious sleeping pod/cabin. Good value for money. Can exchange money in lobby using machine. Definitely recommended!

I surprisingly enjoyed my stay!”

First time in Japan and my first time to stay in a capsule hotel. I stayed here to mainly be closer to Tsukiji market so location is great! Close to train stations and only walking distance to Ginza. There are lots of restaurants in this area so you are spoilt for choice if you tire of Tsukiji fare. The hotel is clean and super quiet despite the number of people staying. Women have their own separate 'secure' floors. The bathroom was always well stocked with all you need but I hardly saw anyone during my stay. I stayed in the business cabin, so technically not capsule, and it was more spacious than anticipated. I would definitely stay again.

Excellent hotel”

The location of hotel is very goods which is near to the METRO station and town centre. Further, the room is comfortable and the hotel looked very tidy. However, I have no chance to have their breakfast with fair price and cannot comment on the taste of breakfast. In general, this hotel with a high CP value.

it was awesome for solo woman traveler”

near the market, temple, restaurants and shops. good location. cabin is clean and good space for 1. toilet and bath are fully equipped! face wash to face toner and cream provided. what an ease. The only downside is, you can hear people walking and moving from nearby cabin. but with earplugs, all are good.

Beautiful Capsule within walking distance from metro station”

The capsule is clean and neat. The bed is a little stiff and only provides one pillow where some other capsules provide 2. The staff allocated us on the 6th floor, where there are spa facilities. However, be prepared to be awakened in the morning as early as 6am, as everyone else gets moving around with loud noises.

Clean & Near Tsukiji”

Just almost right across the Tsukiji station (Exit 4). If you are holding JR pass, its about 10 min walk from Hatchobori Station (Exit A2) to hotel. It has a Nice bar but happy hour beer is pricey. Very clean. Large capsule i can stand on it though there is very little place to stand. It has a tv but i couldnt find an english channel. Bed is hard. Shower is on the 7th floor which i find inconvenient. It only has 1 western shower & the rest are japanese style bath that is open with low wall partition. So good luck on the availability of the western shower if you want to shower in private. They provide shisheido facial wash & cleansers. Hair brush, toothbrush, shave, shampoo & conditioner and towels. Just about 5 min. walk from hotel to Tsukiji Outer Market. There are restaurants just within walking distance.

This cabin hostel is located near Tsukiji Staion and ginza area by walking distance , the capsule was spacious and quiet and clean , valued for money perfect for solo traveller with short period of time

The room is fantastic for your stay. The only bad part is that suitcases are allowed inside the room area so it gets really noisy with zippers. And many individuals didn’t respect the no talking rules. I had many restless night sleep because of too many loud speakers:-(

Staffs are very friendly. However, I think should always remind every travelers to keep it down in consideration of others. Did not have a good rest due to travelers being inconsiderate by slamming doors, talking on phones and laughing in the night. Place is very clean, and if needed extra blanket its convenient to take from outside the cabin room. Location is so convenient, its just beside Tsukiji Station. Things that need to improve is the bed and pillow.

The location is perfect! It's only a minute away from Tsukiji Station (Hibiya line) and about 10-15minutes walk to Tsukiji outer market, so always good to grab a breakfast there. The place is very clean, First Cabin staffs clean the hotel constantly. Female staffs are very polite, but, it was hard to communicate with some of the male staffs, at the reception, in English. The check-in time is 5pm and I got there at 4.35pm and I tried to check-in but they ask me to wait until their check-in time. Overall it's safe and modern place for solo travelers except for poor soundproofing (seriously bad.)
