Solo trip experience”
It was my first solo trip to Japan, and I was enjoying the hotel the moment I got into the room. My choice of room is the private for male, which include a personal bag locker and a table and chair. The most important part is the facilities and toiletries are well managed and clean. You can get drinks from the communal room, like coffee, tea, and water. The toilets and bathroom are also very clean and nice. They give you a pair of clean shirt and pants everyday, and the public bathroom/shower have soap and shampoo. The location is also very close to the stations, JR Akihabara Station and Suehirocho Station, which is very strategic. It is also close to many mini markets, and there are many restaurants around the hotel. If you want to take an adventure arond Akihabara, this hotel have the greatest location and the nicest facilities you can have for your stay. It is also recommended if you come in a group of two people with your friend.

Will stay here again”
Very satisfied during my stay. You can read the other reviews for all the good points (like I did before booking). I'll point out some things that were not mentioned: - Elevator capacity is low, but waiting for a minute or two wasn't a big issue. - Two laundry machines in the male bathroom (700 yen; wash+dry; 100 minutes). Never had to wait to use it though. - Clean towels, tooth brush and tooth paste every day, even if you don't ask them to make your bed. - Noise depends on your neighbours. - A very comfortable experience if everyone is considerate. No trouble sleeping at all during my stay. - Staff is present 24/7. - If you have large luggages or planning to buy many things, recommend booking a superior capsule with your private room, so that you can pack your things more easily.

Best capsule hotel in Tokyo”
I've stayed in a few capsule hotels and this was definitely the best. The facilities are perfect, the location is great, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Plus the capsules themselves were high quality and very comfortable.

Lovely capsule hotel ”
Lovely capsule hotel with a quiet and peaceful vibe. Staff super helpful and polite. The only issue I had was the heat in the capsule at night (it was 30c in Tokyo when I was there) also found the mattresses thin and uncomfortable (typical Japanese capsule style I think) location on Akihabara close to everything.

Comfier than I expected”
Sharing everything other than the bed didn't seem like a good idea, but it was actually more than okay. I had a great stay. The bath was big, bed was comfy and quite, every part of facility was clean.

The place was great and for the price and location would recommend to fellow solo traveler whom need some space for stuff like me. No lock on door but security is good so no worries. The bath pool and the lounge area was great and staff are friendly.

One elevator for 10 floors is painful”
This is a great capsule hotel with one major drawback. There is only one small elevator servicing the 10 floors of this facility. That is awful. If you are on a lower floor, just use the stairs. I was on the 7th floor with a bad knee so I waited on numerous occasions for the elevator. Now other than that, it is a first class capsule hotel for a reasonable price in Akihabara. The storage lockers are on each floor. If you rent a superior capsule, you get a little room (door does not lock) with a desk and locking storage area inside the room. Men's bathing area and lounge is on B1 while women's are on the 10th floor. When you head out, be sure to hand them your key in exchange for a tag. They do not want you leaving the facility with the key. The staff spoke English very well.

Solid capsule hotel. ”
If you're female, you will likely enjoy Glansit. There are only 2 floors dedicated for ladies only and thus the lounge is usually free and bathroom facilities are delightful. My husband on the other hand told me there were about twice as many floors for the men. The lounge always had 8+ ppl sitting in the relaxation area and sometimes the showers/bath stations in the public station would all be in use. I'm reviewing as a female though so the entire stay was great! However there is no co-ed lounge area so my husband and I could only relax together on the main floor area.

Nice stay”
I wanted to try a capsule hotel, and well, it's kind of a luxurious dormitory. Bed are nice, bathroom is great (though as a french I was surprise to see that shared bathroom meant no private booth for the shower), all is clean and the staff is really friendly. I think I could have found cheaper accommodation, but it was a nice stay.

Very Good Capsule Hotel, Possibly Unpleasant Surprises”
My experience at Glansit’s Akihabara branch was primarily positive. Staff were professional and helpful, the venue was for the most part clean, and amenities like wi-fi access were top-notch. Having stayed at a very nice Glansit in Kyoto, however, I had some subconscious expectations that were thwarted. To begin with, travelers should know that the entire building has but one (for men, and presumably one for women) shared shower and bathing space, with little in the way of dividers in a single, open room. This might not be a problem for some, but one should go in aware of the lack of privacy. There is also an indoor smoking room very close to the basement lounge, making cigarette smoke sometimes inescapable. All in all, I would recommend this place to many, but certainly not all of my friends. I might go back again if I cannot find anything better, but unlike the Kyoto Glansit, it would not be my first choice of accommodation in Tokyo.
