Очень приятно за свои деньги, единственное туалет хоть и личный, но вход в него не из номера а из общего холла, местоположение удобное, ближайшая станция в 3х минутах в 15 находится станция Акихабара, рядом магазины, все спокойно, убирали каждый день. Единственное заезд в 15:00 не очень удобно, но хозяева предложили нам оставить багаж, что было удобно, то же самое и при выезде, по соотношению цена/качество, однозначно рекомендую!

This is the second private of me and my friends, Tokyo has Metro and JR that cover all of Tokyo so it is easy to access any area. Kan guesthouse location is on smaller street and a bit hard to notice. please remember the photo of entrance in Agoda. I stayed on the third floor, three bed in one room with private bathroom and toilet (also has bathtub), two bedroom on one floor = two group per floor, and sofa-television-refrigerator-microwave oven on sitting room. cool. Room is a bit small because we have 3 beds here, quite large bed. Wifi is fast. air conditioner is great. Since I haven’t met the clerk face by face yet. I am not sure about service, anyway, they response to mail so quick even in 03.00 am. impressive (lol) if you have limit budget and need tranquil place to rest during your trip. I recommend Kan guest house! ** the door will be lock after midnight so if you are going to be back late, you should tell them prior.

The room is spacious and is cleaned everyday. The only downside of this guesthouse is the owner do not speak English and the guesthouse is bit hard to find. Overall I will stay again in this guesthouse when I will visit Japan next time.

Good: One thing I love about the place, is the accommodating reception. the front desk is only until 10pm but I told them to please wait for me since my flight was delayed. We arrived 12mn and there was a lady waiting outside the place making it easier for us to identify the apartment! The staff was great, they clean everyday and they give you what you request. The place is near the Asakusabashi metro station, it was also near several 7-11 so if you came home late and you want something to eat, there’s place to get food. For Improvement: The space is a challenge. I booked for 3 and they provided a room with 4 beds (they say this is the only available. It was so hard to move. Even the toilet/bath is so small.

Landlord was very micro managing, if you are burning midnight oil, this is definitely not the area to be staying. Overall, the room and location is valued for its price!

Feels like you're at home”

This place is conveniently located between two subways and at such a good price and rating, it was an easy decision to decide on booking Guest House Kan. We had some difficulty finding the place, but the staff gave us really accurate directions. Both the lady owner and the young girl helping us with checking in were super friendly and absolutely helpful. They even help get our clothes washed and sundried, then folded and placed back in the room for you free of charge! We also received complimentary fruits one of the nights after coming back from our tour of the city. The room was much bigger than most hotels I've stayed in, and it was clean and well kept. The bed however cannot probably compare to a hotel's bed, but it's a negligible down considering the other value of the place. The toilet and bathroom are separated and not adjoined to the room, but you would get the toilet and bathroom to yourself if you booked ensuite like we did.

Overall is great, the owner is very nice, the place is near the JR station. However, the bathroom is smaller than I thought. Will recommend to my friend.

Bad experience, i will never book this hotel again”

Pros:10mnt to asakusabashi st,has laundry machine,kettle,fridge,bath equipment,blanket Cons: owner does'nt speak english,hard to find, never answer when we call/sms/wa. First:Although i requested early check in agoda (& she reply (from agoda) that is ok,we still can't have early check in,we have to go out &come back at 3 o clock to check in.Second:we booked 3 bedroom, but there is 4 bed in the room makes it no place to put our bag & walk. Third:She me to pay fine of 1000¥,because she said that we have to check out at 10 oclock, & it is already 10.25, & because i use the laundry machine before 10 o clock in the morning(she said the machine can only be used from 10 o clock).I explain that my husband is still in the shower,& we will go in the next 15 min.She call her daughter, i explain to the daughter,But she still accused me of using the machine before 10 clock.To avoid confrontation i just give the 1000¥ and left in 15 min.The experience ruin my holiday.Please do not book this hotel.

Perfect position”

Very near Asakusabashi Station, local aerea, near the main Tokyo attractions, very quiet and clean. You need to buy your food for breakfast but everything else is perfect. I highly recommend the place

Quiet, private and clean”

This guesthouse is located in a very quiet neighborhood, but for my family, we really liked that because it was relaxing after a day on the busy Tokyo streets. When we arrived, we had to take the elevator up to the check in lobby. We got a room in their 2nd building, which was right next door. I liked this room because it was on the first floor, so there was no need for stairs or elevators. The room is pretty small and things are quite tight, but the beds were big and comfortable. The private bathroom is very small, but it has a shower and very small bathtub. It is a very small bathroom and everything is very tight in there. I'm about 152cm, so I'm pretty small and I didn't mind it. However, my mom really didn't like it. The room also has free wifi, a TV, vanity, mini fridge, and kettle. They also provided instant coffee and tea. Overall, it's a nice place to sleep, but if you're big in stature, you might not like it.

Not sure what all the good reviews were about. The whole "guesthouse" was so poorly lit and looked so shady. The owner of the place was a brusque woman from China who did not even bother to appear hospitable. She was very irritable and impatient. There were FOUR beds in our room meant for two (what for?) leaving hardly any floor space so we had to dump our dirty luggages on two of the beds and basically used the beds as tables (it was unhygienic but we had no choice). Somebody also opened our room door in the middle of the night to peek in on us which I thought was very unsafe.

The staff is Chinese Speaking, is hard to communicate with them. Hotel is okey and location is not far from Rail station.

- very dusty and everything seems dirty. both my friend and I woke up with bites on our body every day. - owner is not friendly and doesn’t seem welcoming. - we stayed four nights and we saw her being nice to other guests from China (probably because she is from China too) - will never stay here again

The room I booked was not the same room given to us. The room is too small for 3 persons. There was no space to move around. But since we hardly stayed in the place, it was alright. Checking in also posed a problem. The reception is in another building. It was night time when we got to the place and the taxi driver brought us to another property. There were no people around and it was difficult finding the place. Fortunately, there was a passer-by who helped us find the apartment. On the plus side, it is near a train station and a good gyudon shop, 7-11 near the place.

Good location with transfer close by. Nice commerce streets around. Free use of laundry facilities. Very nice owner. 3 beds in a small room with use of private toilet and bathroom outside. Apartment a bit stuffy with little kitchen facilities but lots of cheap eating places around.

Home away from home”

The host is a very nice lady, offered to help with laundry, made us feel at home. Located very near to Asakusabashi, close to many convenient stores and some eateries. Make sure u find time to visit the Shimojima Asakusabashi store (1 min from Kan's), we found it the day before we depart, which was a really sad case... there're too many things i would like to get from this store but we dont have enuough time to shop there.

Its location is really close to the Asakusabashi station(A4 exit), quite easy to find. Many restaurants nearby, and they open till very late ,which is convenient for late arrivals. The room is very clean and neat, and elevators are available. One little problem is the bed is a little bit tooooo soft, but it is a good place to live in overall.

Very nice guest house located in Akihabara . 4-5 minute walk to Asakusabashi station for subways and trains. Staff was extremely accommodating! Offered my group laundry services for our personal clothes free of charge. They even provided us with fruit on a few mornings. Extremely nice people! Good size rooms for Tokyo. Bed room comfortably sleeps 3 adults with the addition of the extra bed. I will definitely stay there again when in Tokyo.
