Big Room, easy to station”

Big room enough to open two briftcase on table and have sofa to put stuff. It is very close to meguro station like 2mins walking. downstairs have many foods to eat and convenient store. however, the room is not very clean and have many flys, and I have to kill few everyday.

Lousy Breakfast”

The pictures of breakfast are not even close to accurate! Very little variety, not very much volume, and nothing was particularly good. I had to ask the poor lone waitress to re-fill the coffee pot, and none of the other guests spoke Japanese so they were just living without coffee! The location was very convenient, but the room was so-so. If you get a good deal go for it, but certainly don't bother with the breakfast. You're better off getting something you want from a convenience store.

Except you have to change the elevator twice once you want to go 6th floor: go to 3rd floor and change the elevator to go up and same way to go down, the hotel is ok. Location is very close to Meguro station, the hotel is quiet and neat.

Great location, old facilities ”

Really great location, staff were generally friendly. Room was pretty dated, facilities felt old and at times musty. Had to hand in key when leaving the hotel but didn’t double check my identity when returning the key to me. This made me feel security isn’t that great. Also didn’t have security eye on each door so I couldn’t see who was knocking my door.

Old and run down”

Pretty awful hotel in Meguro. I don't often comment, but it was poor. Unfriendly front desk staff, poorly refurbished rooms, everything just very average. No bed lights. No desk lights. You either have all the lights on or all the lights off. There is no in between. TV was small, old and poor selection of channels. No phone in the room, so if you need anything or want to ask anything you have to leave your room and make the call in public near the elevator...... Not a great experience at all....

Old hotel in great location, poor quality breakfast”

Hotel is very old, lobby is on the 3rd floor, location is literally 2 mins from the Meguro station (2 stations from Shibuya), very convenient. They are quite old and still use a physical key (like those ones you open a treasure chest!) to open the room doors, and the room is quite dated as well. However its clean and if you are just here for a night or two, it would be a good choice given the price is quite reasonable. Breakfast is quite disappointing, wouldnt suggest you to get it.

Very close to the train, but even though it's only 2 stops to Shibuya there is Nothing to do in Meguro. Taxis are so expensive in Japan and that's your only option to get home after the train stops so I suggest paying a little extra for a hotel closer to where you want to be. If you want to be in Meguro, this is a good option. I liked the room but I think it was a little expensive, however that may just be Tokyo.

good location and reasonably average hotel”

the location was great and 2min walk from train station, definitely a plus point. But the lobby is in the 3 floor, so you will walk pass this building with some restaurants on the ground floor, with big sign of Abest hotel on the carpet. Hope you wont miss it. The hotel are outdated and the rooms too, maybe they should renovate soon. The room size was alright, bed and toilet are good, so basically just an average hotel.

Strange but adequate experience”

This is a good place to stay if you are a solo or business traveller but don't expect much more than the basic. I've found that Japanese business hotels have some things in common (after staying in this one and another one in the Mystays chain) - late check in at approximately 3pm (pay 1000 yen per hour earlier you want to check in, the same for checking out), wifi only available in the lobby, and don't expect the staff to speak english. You can get around the wifi issue by using the LAN cable provided in the room. I used my macbook to share the connection as wifi, but it took a lot of troubleshooting and kept disconnecting. The location was really why I chose this place - it's in Meguro, barely 5 mins from the JR Yamanote station, which means you can get to Shinjuku/Shibuya/Harajuku within 10-15 minutes. The area also has lots of nice restaurants like Tonki, famed for its tonkatsu. The room is incredibly small but adequate, if you consider the price. There's barely enough space to walk around the bed and to the toilet. Would recommend for one person only, definitely a squeeze for two. You might struggle if you have a big luggage but it's manageable. Lastly, the weirdest thing I felt was that for a hotel, the staff had no knowledge of how to get to the airport. When I asked for directions (to confirm what I was seeing on hyperdia), they seemed clueless about it. Even after I asked in Japanese. My advise is to give yourself at least 2 hours if you are travelling to Narita, and use hyperdia!

Great location, housekeeping superb,staff friendly”

It was great! Right down the block from the subway station. My triple room was spacious and clean. Housekeeping changed everything, and I mean everything daily(sheets, slippers, and robes). The staff was helpful and friendly. The price was very reasonable and the bathroom though maybe a little on the small side was top notch.

the hotel is just 2 minutes from meguro station, and there's lots of restaurants and cafes downstairs, very good ones too! you wont be hungry in this area! hotel is old, metal key attached to a big plastic ornament, but the rooms a rather spacious for tokyo standards, bath tub too! no in room safe or wifi tho ....

Small rooms, but central location”

Stayed for two nights. The hotel is very conveniently located just next to Meguro station, which is very central and convenient for exploring Tokyo. This is a business-type hotel. No luxuries, but covers the basics well. The rooms are small, but clean and well maintained. I would recomment it mostly as a cheaper stay option at a great location. Not a hotel to spend much of the day in, just the nights.

A really old hotel, which uses a bulky key (not a card) to open the door. You need to take two elevators to get to your room. Despite it all, it was rather clean and big considering it’s age and location. Might help if it was well-lit, and the air filter in the bathroom could work.

Basic, acceptable business hotel”

Small rooms and a bit pricey, but it's Tokyo. Staff were friendly, room was basic but clean and comfortable. Plenty of restaurant options very close by. Great location near the station.

The staff were really considerate and their process was really simple. We were pretty much only sleeping in the room but it was really good. Much bigger than my friends hotels from last year.
